About MAP
Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. For more than 40 years, we have been delivering essential health and medical care to those most affected by conflict, displacement and occupation in the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt) and Lebanon.
We are now responding to the largest emergency in our history. Over the last two year, tens of thousands of new supporters have joined MAP. We work to raise Palestinian voices and work to secure their rights to health and dignity.

About the role
MAP is looking for a professional institutional funding manager with vast experience in securing bilateral and multilateral grant and a track record of achieving income targets. As the Head of Institutional Funding, you will play a crucial role in leading the development and execution of MAP's institutional funding strategy. Your responsibilities will include establishing and nurturing relationships with key institutional donors such as UN agencies, FCDO, SIDA, and Irish Aid, as well as crafting compelling project proposals and ensuring compliance with all contractual and reporting requirements.
About you
You will have extensive experience in securing grants from institutional donors, particularly in emergency response, relief, and rehabilitation projects. You will demonstrate a track record of success in developing institutional donor funding strategies and managing funded projects, along with excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Most importantly, you should share MAP's deep commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of Palestinians.

- Solid account management experience with the proven ability to build rapport and develop relationships while understanding the needs of a variety of individuals, organisations and groups. You will place our supporters at the heart of everything you do by creating personalised and thoughtful solutions to deliver a first-class supporter experience.
- Strong planning, organisational, and multitasking skills to meet deadlines and achieve both team and individual goals, including managing relationships with Macmillan supporters, volunteer groups and meeting key metrics such as, supporter retention and increasing fundraising targets.
- Impactful written and verbal communication and influencing skills to enable you to engage, inspire and deliver key messages combined with experience of collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactively acquire new business and new relationships through targeted acquisition including research, completion of applications, and presentations to supporters/companies/groups to secure new income and/or relationships.
This role is home-based with mobile working. Your home base needs to be in Wales (or close to the border - e.g. in Chester) as on a weekly basis you can expect to work across Wales to meet with supporters face to face approximately 2 to 3 days a week. As such, you must have a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle or the ability to travel frequently across the region.
There will be a requirement to attend in-person team meetings based in the area on a quarterly basis and other parts of the UK when our wider fundraising territory and department get together.
There will also be a requirement for flexible and out of hours working to support occasional evening and weekend activity and you will be compensated for this with time off in lieu.

About the role:
The Supporter Acquisition Manager leads the strategy and delivery of our acquisition programme, with a focus on digital and face-to-face recruitment. This critical position focuses on driving growth and recruiting new supporters, developing and leading the team to deliver campaigns that bring new supporters on board and deliver long term value, with a key emphasis on expanding the digital acquisition stream and delivering on our hybrid model of face-to-face acquisition. About You:
ESSENTIAL
• Proven track record of success in supporter or customer acquisition, with experience managing and forecasting large budgets.
• Demonstrable experience of writing, developing and implementing supporter acquisition strategies with evidence of improvements in long-term value.
• Strong knowledge of digital and direct marketing strategies, including campaign planning, delivery, and evaluation.

This role within our external affairs team focuses on securing impact for our work by supporting the delivery of our campaigns and events.
This varied role involves providing coordination of and administrative support to our flagship campaign, Get the Nation Learning; regional adult learning awards; and L&W events.
The ideal candidate will need experience of working in a busy administration role; excellent communication skills; the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels; excellent organisation skills; and the ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Campaigns
- Coordinate the delivery of the Get the Nation Learning campaign. This means: working with L&W’s head of lifelong learning to produce a comprehensive project plan; monitoring progress across team members to ensure work is delivered to time; undertaking all administrative elements of campaign delivery; managing the nominations and selection process for the Get the Nation Learning Awards; monitoring the budget; and working with the head of lifelong learning to manage relationships with sponsors, stakeholders and suppliers.
- Supporting the delivery of regional adult learning awards, including coordinating nominations and selection processes; undertaking all administrative tasks; and working with L&W’s external affairs manager to manage relationships with clients and award winners.
Events
- Supporting the delivery of L&W’s in-person and online events, including our annual Employment and Skills Convention and Get the Nation Learning Awards ceremony. This involves undertaking administrative tasks such as managing registrations, liaison with speakers and delegates, supporting delivery of events on the day, and working with the external affairs manager to manage relationships with sponsors and suppliers.
Other duties
- Support the external affairs team with communications tasks, for example website updates, drafting and preparing marketing emails and social media posts, distributing press releases etc.
- Undertake any other duties commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility for this post.

Role Summary:
The Smile Trian UK Senior Manager, Individual Giving leads on the development and delivery of the individual donor offline fundraising program, responsible for the acquisition, retention, upgrade and reactivation of individual donors through various channels including Direct Mail, DRTV, Telemarketing and SMS and Print. General Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the UK Director of Fundraising in the development of the offline Individual Giving Strategy and other key initiatives and keep them updated and fully briefed regarding their implementation

- Conduct testing to optimise creative and evaluate results to make data-driven decisions for future mail concepts
- Manage direct mail creative development, ensure brand compliance and provide directive on content/messaging
- Participate in weekly production call with creative and production agencies to review status of deliverables for all campaigns
DRTV
- Execute all aspects of Direct Response Television (DRTV) donor acquisition program, including:

The primary responsibility of the Gift Aid Manager is to oversee the management and administration of Gift Aid, and other forms of tax-efficient giving, to maximise MSF UK’s income. You’ll need a strong understanding of the social media landscape and an ability to select and tailor content for different channels, finding ways to increase supporter engagement and reach diverse audiences. You’ll also be great at explaining your ideas – from the serious to the silly – and getting people involved.
Our ideal candidate is a first-rate copywriter with confident photography and videography skills. You’ll need to have experience with video editing and graphic design tools, and plenty of creative energy to keep our content fresh.
You’ll work closely with our Digital Engagement Manager and will have access to a training budget to help improve your skills.
Key responsibilities:
- Planning and creating content for our social media channels, to support the Trust’s objectives and communication strategies.
- Liaising with staff from across the Trust to understand the scope of our work and ensure that project communication requirements are fulfilled.
- Communicating effectively and consistently with staff and other key stakeholders to ensure engagement remains high and the impact of social media is clearly understood.
- Identifying opportunities to widen our reach and impact, from working with influencers to developing a Cumbria Wildlife Trust presence on new channels.
