We run national campaigns, use research to expose injustice, and we support local organising groups across the country who lead most of our work.
About the role

You might have worked with your local community to campaign on a social justice or health issue that you care about. Or you might be a healthcare worker who has seen the impact of securitisation on your patients and wants to challenge the encroachment of policing and profiling. You’ll have a strong understanding of power and how to work with others to create pressure for change. You need to be a great communicator, able to build trusting relationships with Medact members, academics, partner organisations, and community groups alike. You’ll have an understanding of how digital communications compliment campaigning and an eye for a good media story and the know-how to get it out into the world.

What the job involves
As Product and Delivery Manager, you'll play a key role in helping us deliver technology that supports Prostate Cancer UK’s mission. You'll be responsible for shaping the direction of our internal products and systems, making sure they continue to meet the needs of colleagues across the organisation and provide long-term value. Working closely with stakeholders, you'll help identify priorities, assess opportunities for improvement, and ensure technology investment supports our strategic goals.
You'll lead the planning and delivery of technology projects and enhancements, turning business needs into clear, achievable plans. Above all, you'll be motivated by the chance to make a meaningful difference through the effective use of technology.
Why work with us?
Every man needs to know about the most common cancer in men – prostate cancer. It’s a real and present danger that takes over 12,000 of our dads, grandads, brothers and friends each year.
Prostate Cancer UK is the largest men’s health charity in the UK. We have a simple ambition – to stop prostate cancer damaging lives. We invest millions in research to revolutionise testing, treatment and care. We’re blazing a trail to a screening programme that could save thousands of lives with regular, accurate tests for all men at risk. And we work tirelessly to spread the word about risk and offer specialist support to people living with the disease.
Work with us and you’ll see your efforts pay off as we give men and their families the power to navigate prostate cancer.
Our commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion
At Prostate Cancer UK we’re committed to righting health inequalities across the UK, starting with those faced by Black men. This includes ground-breaking research into Black men's risk and working with communities directly to overcome barriers to the diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer. To make this happen, we're dedicated to being an inclusive, proactive organisation, as we strive to be Allies to Black communities. We’ll achieve this by advocating and working alongside those communities to promote change. We're also working to be Allies to each other, not only protected groups. In 2024, we launched our New Allyship Training Programme. All colleagues at Prostate Cancer UK will be trained to act and identify as an Ally.
We've also signed Business in the Communities Race at Work Charter, as a dedication to our Black health equity work and wider EDI priorities. As a signatory, we're responsible and accountable for driving positive change.
How and where we work
Colleagues attend the office at least four days per month (pro rata for part-time colleagues) to collaborate, build relationships, and support projects and decision-making. Due to the nature of this role, we would expect the postholder to be in the office three times per week.
Additional in-person attendance will be required during your first few months for induction and training, to support you to learn the role and get to know colleagues.
We trust colleagues to work flexibly while balancing personal commitments with the needs of the charity, and we are committed to making reasonable adjustments for colleagues with a disability, neurodiversity, or a long-term physical or mental health condition.

The role will also involve establishing governance, release management and platform standards, overseeing integrations and data quality, monitoring platform performance, and acting as the senior technical authority for Salesforce across the organisation. As the internal capability grows, you will mentor administrators and super-users while driving best practice and continuous improvement.
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce professional with a strong track record of leading platform design, governance and development within a complex organisation. You will have in-depth knowledge of Salesforce configuration, security, data models, Flows and Lightning App Builder, alongside experience of release management, sandbox environments, integrations and platform security. Equally important are your communication and stakeholder management skills—you will be confident translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences and building strong relationships across the organisation. This role would suit someone who combines technical expertise with strategic thinking, enjoys solving complex challenges and is motivated by using technology to support an organisation making a genuine difference to children's lives.
If you're ready to take ownership of a major Salesforce platform while contributing to a mission that has a lasting social impact, we'd love to hear from you.
