In this exciting and varied role, within our growing Mass Engagement department we are seeking a strategic, driven, and compassionate Individual Giving Manager to join our dynamic fundraising team.

This pivotal role will lead the development and delivery of innovative individual giving strategies that deepen donor engagement, grow sustainable income, and support families with children in hospital across the UK.

Key responsibilities:

Strategy & Leadership

• Collaborate with the Head of Mass Engagement to design and implement a robust individual giving strategy aligned with the Charity’s 5-year Impact Strategy.
• Identify and capitalise on growth opportunities across digital channels, regular giving, and mid-level donor programmes.
• Lead the Individual Giving Team (Currently 1x Individual Giving Fundraiser)

Donor Engagement & Stewardship

• Build and nurture meaningful relationships with individual donors, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and long-term support.
• Develop tailored stewardship and cultivation plans, enhancing donor connection to the Charity’s impact.
• Lead on the creation of compelling donor journeys and engagement campaigns that inspire giving and loyalty.

Campaign Management

• Plan, execute, and evaluate multi-channel fundraising campaigns and appeals, working closely with internal teams and external partners.
• Use insights and data to refine campaign strategies, improve performance, and maximise return on investment.

Data & Insights

• Leverage CRM systems and fundraising databases to monitor donor behaviour, track income, and generate actionable insights.
• Produce regular reports to inform decision-making and demonstrate impact.

Collaboration & Integration

• Work cross-functionally with colleagues in communications, digital, and Family Services to ensure cohesive messaging and donor experience.
• Champion individual giving and digital fundraising across the organisation, promoting best practices and innovation.

Skills & Experience:

Essential

• Proven experience delivering successful individual giving campaigns using multi-channel direct marketing.
• Strong track record of supporter acquisition, retention and income growth, achieving or exceeding financial targets.
• Experience managing campaign budgets and income performance.
• Knowledge of digital fundraising tools, channels and audience engagement techniques.
• Skilled in using audience insight and segmentation to improve campaign results.
• Strong understanding of donor stewardship and supporter relationship management.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to create compelling donor-focused content.

To play a key role in the Production Management team at Southbank Centre, working closely with the Director of Technical Production, Head of Production, the Production Management team and wider department and colleagues throughout the organisation to ensure the effective use of systems and resources to deliver the technical elements of a varied programme, primarily in commercial events, but also contemporary and classical music, literature talks, theatre and dance, to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• To ensure a smooth and professional presentation of technical requirements of each event wherever SC activities are taking place.
• To ensure that allocated Production activities are fully and properly staffed – using resident staff, specialist contractors and freelancers as appropriate.
• To manage budgets as required; to evaluate and cost the technical requirements of events and to ensure that resources are used efficiently and that recharges are made. 
• To keep up to date with technical advancements contribute suggestions so that the capital investment programme appropriately reflects the production needs of the centre. 
• To be responsible for the management of Health & Safety issues within SC’s policies and to ensure that safe working practices are used at all times, including undertaking risk assessment and ensuring that all necessary risk assessments are provided by third parties where necessary.

Skills & Experience

• Demonstrable, extensive experience in one of the following artforms: theatre, dance, corporate events, classical or contemporary music, as well as a good working knowledge of the others. 
• Experience of working in a multidisciplinary live arts environment with a demonstrable record in the delivery of events at the highest technical standards.
• Working knowledge of the usage, operation and safe handling of the equipment of the disciplines covered by the Production Department including without limitation stage, lighting, sound, AV and temporary installations for a broad range of events: orchestral, contemporary music, conferences, talks, film screenings, dance and performance.
• Obtains project management skills and can demonstrate experience of managing and organising the work of a team. 
• A demonstrable working knowledge of Safe Working Practices, Health & Safety and contractual requirements and is able to carry out risk assessments.

Purpose of the job

The Operations Officer provides vital administrative and operational support across UK Youth, helping ensure our people, systems, and workplaces are set up for success. Key responsibilities

IT & Systems

• Manage the day-to-day relationship with our IT support partner, including monitoring support tickets, approving change requests, and escalating issues to the Head of Operations where required.

• Support the maintenance and monitoring of IT equipment in collaboration with our IT Support Partner

• Maintain our IT asset register; be responsible for ensuring all IT equipment is accounted for and organising its safe distribution.

• Maintain and improve UK Youth’s SharePoint and MS Teams sites and channels, ensuring efficient organisation, accessibility of information and compliance with information and data protection policies

• Support operational improvement projects, including process automation e.g., use of Microsoft Forms and Power Automate to streamline and automate internal workflows such as onboarding, approvals, and data collection.

Office Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all London office facility needs, liaising with landlords, contractors, suppliers, and cleaners to ensure the workspace remains safe, functional, and well maintained.

• Manage staff building access and oversee the use of UK Youth’s storage facility, ensuring secure and efficient use of space.

• Manage and maintain the room booking systems, ensuring availability, access, and efficient use of meeting spaces.

• Manage departmental shared inboxes, general phone lines and post, ensuring timely and helpful responses.

• Coordinate purchasing and maintenance of office supplies and equipment, ensuring value for money and timely delivery.

Health & Safety

• Act as the main contact for Health & Safety within our London office, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

• Coordinate H&S inductions and site orientations for all new starters and maintain risk assessments, compliance logs, and required documentation.

• Maintain UK Youth’s risk assessment log and review schedule

• Support the collection, tracking, and reporting of organisational H&S compliance data, contributing operational reporting.

• Contribute to the development and documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs), templates, and internal process playbooks.

Team Support

• Provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support to the People and Operations Team.

• Maintain departmental calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate agendas, papers, and minutes.

• Lead logistics for key organisation-wide events such as our quarterly Town Halls.

Experience we're after

• Experience supporting operations, administration, compliance, or facilities within a busy organisation.

About the role

We are seeking to appoint someone on a fixed term contract to the end of December 2027, to join our Grants Team in delivering The Ideas Fund, an exciting programme which looks to connect communities with researchers in order to develop and try out ideas related to mental wellbeing. The Fund is delivered in four areas of the UK – Oldham, Hull, the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, and North West Northern Ireland, although this role can be remote, based anywhere in the UK.

With support from the Head of Grants, we expect that you will have lead responsibility for grant management across these areas, building strong relationships with our Development Co-ordinators and contributing to the successful delivery of the overall programme.

You will oversee the support for grant holders to learn from what is working and feed this learning into our overall approach with the Fund, as well as sharing insights externally. It’s an exciting time for the Fund as we work to build partnerships with others who are interested in community-led approaches to working with research and researchers. You will work with our existing Grants & Learning Manager to ensure that our due diligence and grant reporting requirements are met, responding flexibly and creatively to issues that arise. • Ensure excellent grant-making using relational, flexible and participatory approaches with high levels of customer satisfaction.

About you

The Grants & Learning Manager role would suit someone who has strong stakeholder management skills and experience in curating and sharing learning. Good attention to detail, experience of grant-making, and an understanding of the benefits and risks involved in delivering innovative grant-making approaches would all be beneficial.

The role would suit someone who is comfortable using their judgement and working with an evolving programme, and who can confidently communicate with a variety of stakeholders. We are particularly interested to hear from people who have experience in supporting and influencing wider systems change.

Your experience in terms of the person specification could come from either a personal or professional background. You may not have experience of everything listed in the person specification, but will be open to challenging yourself and developing in the role.

The service users supported by this role will be individuals facing various and multiple disadvantages, including; mental health needs, housing issues, debt, substance misuse, family and relationship issues, individuals who have suffered domestic and sexual abuse, and those at risk of offending or reoffending.  You will be required to tailor the service to meet the needs of the women on your caseload and assist in diverting them away from the Criminal Justice System.

Financial

• Deliver or exceed agreed income targets across community and challenge event  fundraising activities.

• Recruit, train, support and motivate fundraising volunteers to help deliver community fundraising activities and events.

Planning and Organisation
• Develop and deliver activity, stewardship and campaign plans for community and challenge event fundraising within agreed priorities, budgets and income targets.
• Deliver high-quality fundraising events that raise awareness of The Pepper Foundation across Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire.
• Use Donorfy, our fundraising CRM, to administer and manage fundraising activity accurately and effectively, working with the Database Volunteer as needed.
• Produce post-event evaluations and recommendations in line with agreed requirements.
• Use insight, pipeline information and performance data to review results, identify trends and recommend improvements to future activity.
• Manage the day-to-day planning and delivery of key events and campaigns, making decisions within agreed plans, budgets and fundraising procedures.

• Take responsibility for health and safety in community fundraising activities, ensuring appropriate risk assessments are completed and relevant fundraising and safety procedures are followed.
• Respond appropriately to unexpected incidents at community fundraising events, following agreed procedures and escalating where needed.
• Take an active role in setting up and clearing down events and community fundraising activities, including periods of standing and occasional unsocial hours.
• Arrange appropriate Pepper Foundation attendance at local community events when needed.
• Manage resources effectively, including volunteer support, to maximise reach, income and engagement.

Reporting

About Adolescent Health Study

The Adolescent Health Study (AHS) is an ambitious new UKRI-funded initiative to establish a prospective, longitudinal population study that will generate a globally leading open science data platform and research resource. AHS aims to recruit at least 100,000 young people aged eight to 18 years from across the UK and to follow their mental and physical health and wellbeing over at least 10 years. It plans to collect data through questions and measures; to obtain bio-samples for a wide range of genomic and other high-throughput assays; and to capture linked data relevant to health and wellbeing from participants’ health, education and other administrative records. Recruitment will take place mainly through schools. There will be a strong emphasis on engaging with and involving young people, schools, parents and other relevant stakeholders in the design and delivery of the study, as well as on including young people that represent as wide as possible a range of backgrounds, experiences and characteristics. AHS will focus on enabling a wide range of research, including studies of the critical biological and social developments that occur during the transition from childhood to adulthood and the determinants of both mental and physical health and wellbeing in adolescents and young adults.

Purpose of the post

 The Procurement Lead is responsible for developing and delivering a robust procurement and commercial strategy that ensures value for money, compliance with Procurement Act 2023 regulations in line with AHS being primarily public funded and supports AHS study and operational objectives. This fixed-term role is a great opportunity for an experienced ER specialist who enjoys making things clearer, fairer and easier for managers and colleagues. Our Services

Sleep Advice Service

Cerebra understands that if you have a child that doesn’t sleep, the whole family suffers. Many children with neurological conditions suffer from disrupted sleep. Our sleep advice service provides bespoke advice and support so that everyone can get a good night’s sleep.

Legal Rights Service

Our Legal Rights Service provides help and support to families of children with neurological conditions when they are faced with barriers and difficulties in accessing statutory support services they are entitled to. The service provides information on their legal entitlements.

Book and Toy Library Service

Our specialist postal lending library contains a wide range of books for both adults and children, plus a selection of sensory toys specifically chosen for children with a neurological condition.

Innovation and Product Design Service

Our Innovation Service designs and builds bespoke products that cater to the specific needs of children with neurological conditions. The aim of the service is to make products that are desirable and exciting, therefore promoting social inclusion, peer acceptance and enabling children to participate in everyday activities that are so often close to them.

Information Products

Cerebra publishes different information products to help families with a child with a neurological condition. Our information products offer comprehensive, up-to-date support and research-driven strategies to assist families with a wide range of issues.

Buzgi and Toy Adaptation Service

Cerebra designs and builds bespoke assistive equipment for disabled children, this includes creating custom mobility aids, switch‑adapted toys, and other innovative solutions to help children access play, learning, and independence.

The Bugzi - a mini powered wheelchair for children offers many children their first experience of independent mobility. It uses either a joystick or switches and adaptable seating for complex needs, and helps develop spatial awareness, confidence, and early mobility skills. The Bugzi is available through a national loan scheme.

Additionally, we operate commercial services (including a web shop) to supplement our income to support children and their families.

Our services are provided to families free of charge.

Purpose of the Role:

The Chief Operating Officer will play a vital role in supporting the Chief Executive Officer, Board and Leadership Team to deliver Cerebra’s vision and ambitious strategic aims. The Chief Operating Officer will provide strategic leadership and operational management across key areas within Cerebra including:

• Operational Systems
• Governance
• Compliance
• Finance and Growth

This is a pivotal executive leadership role, responsible for driving organisational performance, sustainability and growth. The COO will translate Cerebra’s strategic ambitions into effective operational delivery, ensuring robust governance, financial stewardship and a high-performing, values-led culture.

As a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board, the COO will lead core operational services and commercial activity, enabling the charity to maximise impact and generate sustainable income in support of its charitable objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Executive Leadership

• Partner with the CEO and Board to deliver strategic priorities, growth and long-term sustainability
• Collaboration with the Director’s Group to ensure strategic alignment across the charity. The Director’s Group consists of:

            Director of Fundraising, Marketing and Communications

            Director of Research and Support Services

• Provide expert advice on finance, operations, commercial performance and organisational risk
• Lead organisational planning, business continuity, and operational resilience

Finance, Commercial & Sustainability

• Lead financial strategy, planning and performance, ensuring long-term sustainability
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cashflow and financial controls
• Lead and develop Cerebra’s strategy for commercial income , ensuring alignment with charitable objectives
• Support funding growth through strong financial insight and business case development
• Ensure robust financial governance, audit and compliance

Operations & Infrastructure

• Lead and strengthen operational functions including HR, IT, governance and administration
• Ensure effective systems, processes and infrastructure that enable growth, efficiency and impact
• Oversee procurement, contracts, facilities, and organisational compliance
