Job Description 

Lead research and policy projects 

You will lead our Research and Policy team and manage our research experts. This will include leading on existing and new projects from concept design to funder reporting, as well as conducting research in different areas of economic and social policy like social security, pensions, VAWG, labour market, social care, etc.

Maintain and forge external partnerships 

You will maintain, identify and forge new collaborations with academics, feminist organisations and economics think tanks. 

Represent WBG at external events and to the media 

You will represent WBG in meetings with key stakeholders and speak at external events. You will also be a spokesperson for the press, radio and broadcast TV to promote WBG’s research and analysis. 

Contribute to our advocacy strategy 

You will work closely with our Communications and Public Affairs team to ensure our research outputs are relevant to our advocacy goals and that they are accessible to a wide range of audiences, including policymakers, politicians, journalists, and feminist campaigning organisations. 

Supervise our research and policy support programme 

In collaboration with our Head of Training and Capacity Building you will expand our programme of research and policy support for grassroots organisations in the UK and internationally. 

Manage a team and support its members 

You will be leading not only projects but also people. You will have experience of supporting, motivating and leading a team of people and supporting them to develop new skills and grow in their careers. This includes staff members and paid interns. 

Hours: 30 hours per week. We operate a shorter working week with 30 hours the equivalent of full time. We are happy to consider a secondment role and/or flexible working arrangements. Some out of hours working will be required for which TOIL will be given.

Insight Gloucestershire are seeking a Relationship Fundraiser.  This is an exciting and varied role incorporating writing funding applications, developing corporate partnerships, organising fundraising events and supporting volunteer fundraisers.

The role is based in Gloucestershire, and you will be travelling around the county to meet supporters and attend fundraising events.  You will need to regularly attend our office in Cheltenham.  There will also be occasional travel to our partner offices in Bristol and Devizes (Wiltshire). 

As Relationship Fundraiser, you will be playing a key role in ensuring the financial success and stability of our charity.  There is a wide salary band depending upon experience.  You might be coming to this role as an established fundraiser, looking to develop your career, or perhaps you have transferable skills having built great relationships in another sector.

As Youth Worker you will use your experience of working with children and young people to:

• Work alongside the Youth Coordinator to develop and deliver an agreed project plan that meets the requirements of funders and local team priorities, in line with Diabetes UK processes and policies.

The two regional roles currently available are fundamental to the delivery of the third phase of the Seed Sovereignty Programme across southern and western England.

Main Responsibilities

We are looking for highly motivated and organised individual to coordinate our accreditation scheme. The role will work with our network of employers, and support new organisations through the accreditation process.

The Programme Officer will lead our work in Yorkshire and Humber support our Managers to grow and deepen engagement with Living Wage Employers through our associated schemes. We are Zarach, the children’s bed charity. We are on a mission to end child bed poverty, helping children get a good night’s sleep and the chance to thrive at school.

In our nearly eight years as a registered charity, we’ve captured the hearts and attention of many individuals, community groups, businesses and funders who want to support us on our mission. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As we grow, we are looking to recruit a Fundraising and Supporter Engagement Officer to join the Fundraising team, for an initial fixed-term period of 12-months. 

As our ideal candidate, you will need to be within commuting distance of our Leeds warehouse, allowing you to travel regularly to meet with the team. This is a hybrid role based between the Leeds warehouse and home, with at least two days per week at the warehouse. Some travel to other locations may be required occasionally for events.

You will be an enthusiastic team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills. You will be organised and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities, and work to deadlines.

Alongside your related skills and experience, we’ll be looking to see that you have a genuine care for our mission and, as such, are self-motivated to do a great job and be a values-led member of our team.

About the team

This exciting opportunity sits within Shelter’s Community and Events team which is a part of the Income Generation directorate. Community and Events is made up of our Community Fundraising, Supporter Experience, Digital Fundraising & Marketing and Mass Participation teams, across the team we look after a wide range of fundraising activities encouraging supporters to raise money and providing them with the support to do so.

In this role, you will report into the Senior Community Fundraising Area Manager who will provide guidance, coaching, and support to help you thrive in your role. You’ll be working closely alongside community fundraising colleagues based in London, Birmingham, Bristol and Norwich.

This is an exciting time for the Trust as we are in the second year of our ambitious NLHF funded activity plan.  You will be providing support for the volunteer journey from recruitment and onboarding, to role support across all areas of volunteer activity in the park.

This role will be key to supporting the ongoing development of our volunteering programme and ensuring that the correct processes are followed, volunteers and schools/learning groups have the information they need, resourcing is at appropriate levels and rooms, and equipment is booked as needed. 

You will work as part of the Content, Learning and Engagement team, line managed by the Senior Volunteering Manager.

You’ll be the steady hand behind the scenes, making sure our office runs smoothly, our staff feel supported, our policies stay sharp, and our environment is safe and welcoming for everyone who walks through the door. You’ll provide support to the CEO and team leads, helping them deliver the very best support to families.

You’ll manage the rhythm of day‑to‑day operations: from coordinating office needs and liaising with IT and telecoms providers, to ensuring the right resources are where they’re needed. Your eye for organisation will help keep our budgets on track, our shared inboxes responsive, and our essential administration running with calm efficiency.

A key part of your work will be within HR support—helping coordinate recruitment, onboarding new colleagues, maintaining records, and making sure staff feel welcomed and prepared from day one. You’ll also play a vital role in keeping our policies current and meaningful, working closely with the CEO to maintain our review cycle and ensure that information is clear and accessible across the organisation.

Health, safety, environment and fire safety (SHEF) responsibilities form another important strand. You’ll take the lead in maintaining compliance across the organisation, ensuring risk assessments are up to date, first aid provision is well‑stocked, and our premises and equipment remain safe, functional and fit for purpose.
