This long‑standing and well‑established organisation delivers specialised support through strategically positioned global hubs, enabling operations across multiple countries and locations in order to deliver its message and services.

Reporting to the Director of Finance & Governance, the Head of Finance will be responsible for key tasks such as the annual budgeting process, forecasting, finance business partnering and ensuring robust financial controls and systems are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• External Financial Reporting - Responsible for delivering accurate, compliant, and timely statutory and tax reporting across the organisation, including leading the group audit process and contributing as a member of the Audit & Risk Committee. Ensuring that reporting capabilities remain robust, fit for purpose, and aligned with best practices.
• Budgeting & Financial Planning - Accountable for managing the annual budgeting process and delivering forecasting to support strategic decision‑making. This includes effective stakeholder engagement, clear timetabling, strong controls, and optimal use of systems.
• Investment Strategy & Management - Serving as a key member of the Investment Committee, with responsibility for executing and overseeing the organisation’s liquidity management and treasury activities.
• Financial Control - Ensuring that Finance function activities comply with prescribed requirements and standards, including reviewing control design to confirm suitability for the associated risks.
• ERP Tool & Projects  - Act as the NetSuite and Project Lead for ERP development, collaborating closely with the ICT team and key stakeholders.

Essential Criteria

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant, have experience in a large charity settings or a global businesses and be confident in managing a finance function. This includes overall responsibility for operational finance, management accounts, budgeting, statutory reporting and treasury. Demonstrated expertise in ERP platform, preferably NetSuite, and supporting operations across a global organisation will also be key.

The Role

The Finance & Operations Manager is a senior, hands-on leadership role, responsible for ensuring the Trust is financially robust, well-governed, legally compliant and operationally effective.

Reporting to the Executive Director and working closely with the Board of Trustees, the postholder will lead on finance, HR, IT and organisational systems, and act as Secretary to the Board. This role provides the operational backbone that enables the Trust's programmes, partnerships and advocacy work to succeed, and requires confidence, judgement and discretion at board level.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, cashflow and reporting
• Prepare management accounts and liaise with external accountants and auditors

About the role

Listening Books is a national charity that provides an excellent audiobook lending service to anyone in the UK whose illness, disability, learning or mental health difficulty, impacts on their ability to read the printed word, or hold books. Our audiobook catalogue contains over 10,000 titles. We believe that books should be accessible to everyone.

The Membership and Recruitment Administrator will help increase referrals to our service, by building and developing relationships with local partner charities and other relevant organisations. They will allocate funding to eligible new and renewing sponsored members, helping to meet our funding requirements and expand the charity’s membership base.

They will undertake the retention of its sponsored and paying members, by contacting renewing individual and organisational members, with the intention of retaining as many as possible and encouraging their use of the audiobook service.

They will also provide administrative support to the charity, including answering the main telephone line and opening and processing post.

We are seeking a Supporter Engagement Manager to play a pivotal role in creating and nurturing meaningful connections that make Spurgeons' frontline services possible. Through building strong relationships with individuals, churches, and community partners, you'll inspire generosity and collaboration that lead to lasting impact.

As a member of the fundraising management team, you'll contribute to shaping and delivering the Fundraising and Engagement strategy while providing leadership and development for the Supporter Engagement Lead. You'll lead the implementation of Individual Giving and Church Engagement strategies to achieve agreed KPIs for income growth and supporter retention, while managing operational delivery of fundraising processes including supporter-centric donation platforms, thanking, banking, and Gift Aid compliance.

Working in collaboration with the wider team and marketing manager, you'll develop and deliver an annual programme of donor acquisition campaigns and donor-led appeals. You'll build and grow the Spurgeons Church Network, oversee the creation of resources and organisation of events to equip churches for prayer, giving, and community engagement, and research church denominations and networks to inform engagement activities. Managing budgets and reporting for individual and church engagement activity, you'll ensure cost-effective delivery and clear ROI.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:

• Track record in fundraising and supporter engagement, delivering measurable income and retention growth
• Experience developing and implementing fundraising strategies, donor journeys and stewardship programmes
• Managing campaigns and appeals from planning to evaluation, using CRM systems to track KPIs and donor trends
• Strong understanding of individual giving, donor acquisition, retention and stewardship.

By month 3, you'll have audited current Individual Giving and Church engagement processes, delivered your first supporter email, and developed a 12-month roadmap for Individual Giving, Church engagement, and events. By month 6, you'll have launched the annual Christmas appeal and one community fundraising initiative, developed the regular giving programme and church engagement resources, and presented a 6-month review with data-driven recommendations. By month 12, you'll have fully embedded Individual Giving and Church engagement strategies, achieved agreed KPIs for income growth, and demonstrated improved donor retention through metrics.

About the role 

This role leads the day-to-day operational management and development of WGN’s Clinical Services, ensuring the delivery of innovative, safe, high-quality, survivor-centred, trauma-informed and culturally responsive services for survivors of VAWG. You will provide clinical and operational leadership to a multidisciplinary team of therapists and facilitators, overseeing therapeutic pathways, referrals, body therapies, group work, staff wellbeing and reflective practice, within a Black feminist and intersectional framework.

This role is offered on a part-time basis (28 hours per week worked over 4 days).

Job description 

As the Clinical Practice Manager, you will:

• Provide operational and clinical leadership across the therapeutic team, overseeing all clinical pathways, referrals, assessments, case allocation, service integration, governance and safeguarding, ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed and culturally responsive services.

• Support counsellors and body therapists through line management, reflective practice, wellbeing initiatives, recruitment, induction, performance management and ongoing professional development, embedding anti-oppressive, intersectional and survivor-centred practice.

• Lead service development through data-informed practice, co-design and evaluation of new therapeutic initiatives, community wellbeing programmes, CPD delivery and inclusive recruitment, promoting innovation, accessibility and cultural responsiveness.

• Oversee monitoring, evaluation and clinical governance, ensuring contractual delivery, robust data collection, impact reporting, service user involvement, ethical practice and adherence to professional and sector standards.

Chief Officer

Citizens Advice Woking (CAW) provides free, independent, and confidential advice and information to the residents of Woking, and anyone who works in the Borough, particularly the most vulnerable, to help with the problems they face.  We are the only organisation locally that can and does address client issues holistically, across areas such as debt, housing and welfare benefits, not just single issues, and this is increasingly important as client problems become more complex.

We are looking for a Senior Manager who will bring both innovation and experience to lead a valued local charity.

Reporting to the Chair of the Trustee Board, the Chief Officer

• Is responsible to the Trustee Board for the management and leadership of Citizens Advice Woking,
• Represents Citizens Advice Woking to funders, partners and stakeholders,
• Ensures the delivery of a high quality, impartial and confidential service, utilising both paid staff and volunteers,
• Is responsible for the continuing funding, planning and financial management of the service,
• Represents the organisation in Woking and contributes to the overall provision of strategic advice services in the borough.

In particular, the priorities for the Chief Officer in 2026/27 will be to:

• Manage CAW’s external relationships with our funders and the Woking community generally, to ensure satisfaction with the delivery of current projects, and their continuation,
• Collaborate closely with the other Surrey LCA Chief Officers to respond to the changing funding landscape. In parallel, continue to identify and deliver local projects for local funders,
• Ensure that suitable alternative premises are secured, and the transition is managed as smoothly as possible,
• Ensure the staff and volunteers are enabled to work effectively, particularly during this period of disruption,

The Chief Officer has an important leadership role, working closely with the Operations Manager, who has line responsibility for the staff and, generally, the internal CAW operation.  The volunteers are managed on a day-to-day basis by the Advice Session Supervisors, who are critical to ensuring the quality of advice to clients, and the smooth running of the office.
