About the Role
We are looking for a Chief Operations Officer to lead the operations team, join the management team and support the CEO. Your priorities will be to oversee all fundraising, including campaigns, major donors and grant applications. You will oversee the HR of the organisation, including recruitment and disciplinaries. In partnership with the CEO and finance officer you will be jointly responsible for finance within the organisation. The Role
The Biosecurity Fellowship Manager is a new and exciting role within our growing biosecurity unit. Reporting to the Associate Director for Biosecurity, this role will lead the development and implementation of the new Biosecurity Fellowship Programme pilot, which is an important part of our ‘people first’ value, enabling a high-performing cohort of biosecurity expertise in the UK system.

Ablaze are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Employability Workshop Manager to deliver our Employment & Skills programme workshops for young people aged 16-25 who are not in education, employment or training (NEET).
This role is ideal for someone who has experience planning and delivering engaging workshops, can build positive relationships with young people facing barriers to progression and is passionate about helping them develop the skills and confidence needed for employment.
Alongside workshop delivery, you will support the collection of programme impact data on our secondary school career mentoring programme and contribute to reporting for our business partners. You will work closely with existing members of our team, including our Employment and Skills Project Manager, who oversees the programme, our Employment and Skills Project Assistant, who supports programme administration and our Senior Programme Manager, who manages and oversees all our school based programmes.
About the Role
You will be responsible for workshop delivery as part of the Employment & Skills Programme which take place during:
· September to October (approximately 4-5 weeks)

During these periods, you will deliver workshops 2-days per week and join young people on 1-day work insight sessions at local businesses. About the role

The successful candidate will be highly proficient in Microsoft Office tools and skilled at building and maintaining project plans, governance processes, and documentation, including risk, issue, and decision logs.
You will lead agile approaches to project oversight, coordinating activity across teams, functions, and seniority levels to ensure progress is effectively tracked and barriers are addressed. You will identify emerging risks, opportunities, and dependencies, escalating issues appropriately and facilitating timely decision-making. Working closely with senior leaders, you will provide high-quality reporting, insights, and project management support to drive successful delivery of programme objectives.

Key responsibilities:
You will be an experienced project manager, adept at both building and maintaining the required relationships to successfully deliver complex projects and the enabling processes and tools.
You will be comfortable setting up new process and using agile techniques to bring teams together, track progress, flag emerging issues and seek resolutions.
You will be experienced in supporting senior leaders to produce regular reporting.
You’ll be joining a dynamic and welcoming geographically dispersed team, working with hugely important and fascinating projects that are responding to and addressing a wide range of topics across the Fund’s four community-led missions.
Due to our dispersed nature as a team, it is expected that there will be occasional travel in order to connect with colleagues, stakeholders and projects. This is likely to be one to two occasions per month.
