As our IT Helpdesk Officer, based in Kings Cross, you will be at the heart of ensuring every colleague has the tools, systems, and support they need to deliver life-changing work. From maintaining a smooth and stable IT service across all our locations to working closely with third-party providers, you’ll play a crucial role in keeping our organisation connected and effective.

This is a role where every day brings variety. You might be resolving a technical issue for a frontline worker in one of our services, managing system access to ensure our security standards remain high, or travelling across London to set up IT equipment in a new location. You’ll be involved in the delivery of projects and system implementations, from launching new contracts for internet and telephone services to helping integrate innovative solutions that keep us moving forward. About you:

• Experience in Providing 1st and 2nd line IT support over a number of channels including face to face, phone, email, text, chat and video. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Strong organisational skills and shows enthusiasm to all duties. 
• Ability to manage issues and questions via a ticketing portal, updating clients in a timely manner and following tickets through to resolution. 
• Experience in troubleshooting hardware including cloud servers, desktops, laptops and network equipment. 
• High level of personal organisation with the ability to plan and prioritise own work. 
• Has experience in Microsoft applications like Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

About the Role:
The Director’s primary function is to provide strategic, operational and professional leadership across Family Action’s services on the Isle of Man (children’s residential homes, secure accommodation, short-stay homes, wraparound and edge of care services, semi independent accommodation, aftercare services, family support and Family Time) - ensuring consistently high-quality, safe, trauma informed practice and provision that meets statutory requirements and best practice standards.

The Director will be the organisational lead for quality assurance, performance and safeguarding, responsible for designing, implementing and assuring robust governance, oversight, and continuous improvement frameworks. They will collaborate closely with Manx Care, Commissioners, partners, multi agency safeguarding arrangements, and internal teams to deliver exceptional outcomes for looked after children, care leavers and families - modelling the organisation’s values; people focus, can do, excellence and mutual respect.

Main Responsibilities:
• Provide executive leadership for Residential, Wraparound, Edge of Care, Leaving and Aftercare services, Family Support and Family Time on the Isle of Man ensuring alignment with organisational strategy and contract specifications.
• Develop high-quality, trauma informed, therapeutic approaches across all services, ensuring models reflect emerging research, innovation, and best practice.
• Serve as the strategic lead for safeguarding, ensuring compliance with organisational safeguarding procedures and statutory requirements.
• Establish, monitor and report on Quality Assurance frameworks, including audits, inspections, risk management, incident reporting, and service performance.
• Ensure all residential services, including secure accommodation, operate in accordance with the Children and Young Persons Act and relevant inspection and regulatory frameworks.
• Advise senior leaders and governors/trustees on matters relating to Residential, Wraparound, Edge of Care, Leaving and Aftercare, Family Support and Family Time provision on the Isle of Man and quality assurance, performance and safeguarding across Family Action.
• Direct line management of two Deputy Directors and overseeing budgets to ensure efficient, cost-effective service delivery. Championing the sharing of learning, the development of staff and volunteers and best practice across services to support continuous improvement and innovation.
• Strategic and accountable leadership, leading the Directorate by motivating and galvanizing the team to achieve the highest quality services maximising outcomes for the children and families we support.
• Be part of the Executive Group of Directors and the Chief Executive, influencing organisational development and decision-making, resource allocation and future strategy.

Purpose of the post:

As part of our Business Directorate, this role will lead a first-class comprehensive support function that underpins all areas of the charity:

Job Purpose

The Area Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership for Treasures Foundation’s new ambulatory detox facility and first-stage supported housing service. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed support for women experiencing multiple disadvantage, including addiction, abuse, coercive control, poverty, mental health challenges, and involvement with the criminal justice system.

As Project Officer, you will work across a wide range of projects to support and enable more people to walk, wheel and cycle. This is a dynamic and varied role, providing flexible support to short-term projects and initiatives or support different stages of longer-term projects.

What You’ll Be Doing 

• Plan and deliver practical behavioural change and engagement walking, wheeling and cycling projects and activities, with clear direction and support from the line manager.
• Working on projects independently or with others as part of a team, including working with colleagues from the National Cycle Network, Infrastructure, Active Journeys or Connected Communities teams.
• Integrate our volunteers in projects and activities where appropriate, supporting their recruitment, training and ongoing involvement when needed.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking on new challenges, where a workday never looks the same, and the opportunity to work with colleagues with a wide mix of disciplines.

The role involves undertaking in‑person work across the region. This includes regular travel and occasional work outside of core office hours.

To ensure the continuation of our programmes during times of staff absence, we are now seeking to recruit a Prison Facilitator on a bank working basis to work across the South Central (HMP Bullingdon and HMP Aylesbury). Working closely with prisons and their staff, people in prison, Shannon Trust volunteers and mentors, this post will support with the delivery and development of our literacy and numeracy programme in the area, maximising opportunities for people in prison to learn to read.

You will have experience working within prison settings underpinned by the ability to build relationships quickly and personal qualities that include resilience, determination and a problem-solving approach. You will also have a willingness to travel, sometimes at short notice, to provide short or long term cover within the prisons in this area.

This role will be prison-based. This is a bank role and so the number of days to be worked will vary and are not guaranteed. Overview

The Premier League Foundation is seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Grants and Compliance Manager on a permanent basis. As a key member of the Central Operations team, you will help ensure the Foundation operates as an effective and efficient charity by maintaining robust, high‑quality grant‑management processes. A core part of the role will be leading the development and implementation of the Capability Code of Practice — a governance framework designed specifically for the unique needs and context of professional football club charities. You will ensure the Code continues to evolve with governance best practice and will work directly with Premier League club charities to create regular opportunities for sharing good practice, supporting them to achieve full compliance with the Code and to strengthen their effectiveness and efficiency as charitable organisations.

Who we are

The Premier League Foundation was established in 2010 to distribute funding provided by the Premier League and its partners to professional football club charities across England and Wales, supporting them in their delivery in thousands of community venues and schools across the country. A total of 106 club charities are supported across the Premier League, English Football League, and National League.

The role

• Oversee the Premier League Foundation’s grant management function, ensuring timely, high-quality and consistent processes for grant assessment, approval, delivery, monitoring and reporting.
• Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of grant-making processes to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
• Provide advice and support on the design and development of application and grant-making processes for new programmes and funds.

As demand for the MRCPsych CASC examination continues to increase, we are recruiting to two complementary coordinator roles within the Examinations team: Examinations Co‑ordinator (Resources) and Examinations Co-ordinator (CASC). Together, these posts will play a vital role in ensuring the effective planning, development and delivery of the CASC examination in the UK and internationally.

The MRCPsych Examinations Co‑ordinator (Resources) will focus on examiner management, resources and logistics. Reporting to the CASC Operations Manager, the post holder will manage the coordination of the Board of Examiners, including recruitment, training, allocation and communication with all our examiners. The role also involves sourcing and managing venues, suppliers and other resources, maintaining examination systems and databases, and providing operational support on examination days.

The Examinations Co-ordinator (CASC) is a newly created role designed to strengthen capacity in CASC development and quality assurance activity. Reporting to the CASC Development Manager, the post holder will support the development, piloting and quality assurance of CASC scenarios, coordinate development events such as writing days and panel meetings, and assist with exam build, testing and post‑exam activity. The role also provides hands‑on support during CASC delivery, working closely with colleagues, examiners and role players.

ABOUT THE ROLE

In a context of the rise of the far right, increasing inequality, and climate disaster, The Advocacy Academy is growing to meet this moment. 

As part of this, we are expanding our Organising and Campaigns Team, looking to recruit two senior and experienced organisers and campaigners who are able to build the leadership of young people to enable them to turn the resources they have into the power they need to make the change they want. We have raised the funds needed to resource this growth and know what needs to be done. There are three key areas of responsibility:

1. Oversee and deliver TAA’s member-led organising campaigns
2. Play a lead role in delivering our Coalition Campaigns
3. Oversee our HOST programme, our in-house campaign accelerator and fiscal hosting programme

But there are several ways we could divide up the work into people’s roles. So, instead of splitting this up in advance ofapplications, we are asking candidates to apply first, and then dividing up the responsibilities into two coherent roles based on the best candidates that apply.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

The following responsibility areas will be divided between the two roles based on candidates’ strengths. 

1. Oversee and deliver TAA’s member-led organising campaigns

• Support members to develop and select key campaigns to prioritise on the basis of:
  • People: What our young people want and need to learn to support their growth as organisers and leaders in their own right.

2. Play a lead role in delivering our Coalition Campaigns, including but not limited to our Climate Coalition (Roots to Rise) and Gender Coalition (name tbc):

• Work closely with the Programme’s Team to develop and deliver organising and campaign training for key partner organisations, helping them to embed organising practices into their work, and support their young people to be organisers in their own right.
• Support the Programme’s Team and partners to develop and select key campaigns to prioritise on the basis of:
  • People: What our young people want and need to learn to support their growth as organisers and leaders in their own right.
  • Power: How we want and need to build power together
  • Change: Where there is an opportunity to win material change on the important issues of the day that directly affect our young people and others.
• Once campaigns are selected, you will support partners and members to design clear-sighted campaign strategies to achieve objectives under the three categories above.
• You will then support members to deliver on these strategies, with the necessary campaign infrastructure to ensure it succeeds, including meetings, briefings, comms outputs, creative public action, aligning with allies, and negotiating with key targets.

3. Oversee our HOST programme, including but not limited:

• Work with the Director of Oraginising and Campaigns to set the strategic direction and priorities for the HOST Programme.
• Proactively build relationships with our HOSTed groups and coach them to develop their leadership. This involved holding regular 1:1s and relational meetings that strengthen our connection and help them to identifyand act on their developing political interests and to plug them into relevant opportunities for growth at TAA and our wider networks.
• Identify opportunities to improve our offer to HOSTed groups and support them to tackle challenges they face. This includes developing a clear understanding of their aims and needs, and how their and our resources can be used creatively to help deliver these effectively.
• Oversee the Lead Campaign Organiser’s efforts to ensure our HOST Programme runs like a well-oiled machine by pulling in the right people at the right time to ensure key milestones are met.
• Oversee the budget for the HOST Programme, ensuring that all activities are run within financial targets, working with the Programmes leadership team to identify efficiencies and savings, checking in regularly with the Head of Organising and Campaigns and relevant senior colleagues to escalate any risks or opportunities that might arise.

4. Be a key member of the Organising and Campaigns Team, including but not limited to:

• Support efforts to set the strategic direction and priorities for the Organising and Campaigns Team each financial year.
• Proactively develop an interest in the impact of political, socio-economic and sector specific changes that could impact the HOST Programme, department and TAA in general.
• Support the Director of Organising and Campaigns and Head of Organising and Campaigns with the management and mitigation of organisational risks presented by the Programme by escalating issues within a timely manner and supporting them with problem solving.
• Support colleagues in the Organising and Campaigns team to run events, training programmes and other key activities to deliver on departmental aims.

5. Support our members to learn and grow as organisers in their own right, including but not limited to:

• Proactively build relationships with our members and grow our membership, through holding regular 1:1s and relational meetings that strengthen campaigns but more importantly help them to identify and act on their developing political interests and to plug them into relevant opportunities for growth at TAA and our wider networks.
• Hold a list of members that you are the relationship lead for, developing and delivering a live learning plan with many of them, supporting them to become powerful organisers.
• Work closely with the Programmes and Community teams to set trajectories and expectations for a young person’s campaigning and organising journey, their starting point coming into TAA, and the training and support they need.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings, holding space effectively and designing and delivering creative learning journeys for young people.

• You’re a sensitive and thoughtful relationship-builder who is interested in building a network of relationships to support the Advocacy Academy’s work. You’re a great listener, and remember people’s names, faces, and stories.

IDEAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• At least 5 years of experience in organising and campaigning on issues of social justice and/or 
• At least 5 years of experience in supporting people to be more confident and comfortable developing and implementing organising or campaign efforts.

This is an outline of the responsibilities and duties of the Head of/ Associate Director of Organising & Campaigns roles (2 roles); it is not intended as an exhaustive list and may change from time to time to meet the changing needs of the Liberation Centre and our young people. Any changes will be made in consultation with the post holders.

• Our Organisers support our members to identify and act on their developing political interests, including helping them to be more confident and comfortable developing and implementing organising strategies. Tell us about a time when you helped someone learn and develop their capacity to make change in the world?
• Include anything else you would like us to know as we consider your candidacy for the roles.

In addition, please also provide information on your notice period and your availability for interview. You may also attach any other content that would be relevant for us to have in order to showcase interest and experience. The Role

This is a unique opportunity to join Bemorefab Children's Cancer Charity at a genuinely exciting stage in our growth. Our core team is hands-on and close-knit, and the person who takes this role will have real influence over how the charity develops.

The primary purpose of the role is to grow and diversify our income, working towards an annual fundraising target of well over £300,000. You will lead on public and community fundraising, corporate partnerships, events, grant applications, digital giving, and donor stewardship, building systems and relationships that will sustain the charity for years to come.

We run high-profile events including our flagship Have Happy Days Gala, Corporate Golf Day, Santa Fun Run and race days. You will play a central role in coordinating these and developing new fundraising activity alongside them.

As the charity grows, this role will grow with it. You may take on line management of additional fundraising staff as the team expands, and you will play an active role in supporting and coordinating our volunteers.

In year one, we would want you to have built a strong corporate pipeline, established a working CRM and stewardship process, submitted a meaningful portfolio of grant applications, and contributed to events that raise the profile and income of the charity. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and help shape what comes next.

Key Responsibilities

Fundraising Strategy and Income Generation

• Develop and deliver a fundraising plan aligned with the charity's growth aims.

• Lead on community and public fundraising activity, including supporter-led fundraising, challenges, campaigns and events.

• Identify and cultivate new income opportunities across individual giving, regular giving and appeals.

• Develop and grow our online and digital fundraising presence, including donation campaigns, social media appeals and crowdfunding.

Corporate Partnerships

• Research, identify and approach prospective corporate partners.

• Develop tailored partnership proposals and stewardship plans.

• Maintain strong, positive relationships to encourage long-term support and explore matched giving, charity of the year and sponsorship opportunities.

Grants and Trusts

• Research and identify suitable grant and trust opportunities.

• Prepare, write and submit high-quality funding applications.

• Maintain a pipeline of upcoming deadlines and reporting requirements.

Events and Supporter Engagement

• Plan, coordinate and support fundraising events, including large-scale flagship events and community fundraising activity.

• Represent the charity at community events, networking opportunities and meetings.

• Engage, support and coordinate volunteers, fundraisers and ambassadors.

People and Team

• Work collaboratively with the CEO and Office and Development Manager to support strategic planning and organisational development.

• As the charity grows, provide line management to any additional fundraising staff who join the team.

• Contribute to wider charity activity, remaining flexible and adaptable as the role and charity evolve.

• Carry out any reasonable duties required to support the charity's growth and operations.

Data, CRM and Donor Stewardship

• Establish and manage a CRM system to track donors, supporters and income streams.

• Ensure all fundraising data is recorded accurately and in line with GDPR.

• Deliver high-quality, personalised stewardship to nurture long-term relationships and increase donor retention.

• Monitor income against targets and produce regular performance reports with insights and recommendations.

• Prepare fundraising reports for the CEO and Trustees as required.

About You

You will be someone who thrives in a role where you can build, shape and develop fundraising from the ground up. You will be proactive, self-driven and confident managing multiple income streams at once. You will care about the cause and be motivated by the idea that your work directly determines how many families we can reach and support.

Essential

• Strong relationship-building skills and a warm, confident communication style.

• Excellent written communication skills, particularly for proposals, pitches or cases for support.

• Highly organised with strong planning and data management abilities.

• Demonstrable experience generating income, securing partnerships or winning new business (charity fundraising, sales, business development or similar).

Desirable

• Experience working in a fundraising role within the charity sector.

• Experience working in a small or growing organisation.

• Experience implementing or managing a CRM system.

• Confidence with digital fundraising, social media campaigns or online giving platforms.

• Full driving licence or ability to travel occasionally as needed.

• Comfortable presenting to groups, partners and supporters.
