We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head of Communications to come and join our team providing maternity cover until January 2027 during a period of organisational growth.

Location – This role is mainly working from home with one day a week in our London office (usually a Monday). Occasional travel to our other programme sites (currently Stoke-On-Trent, Redcar, Middlesbrough and Scotland) will also be required.

· Strong experience in strategic communications, ideally within a start-up, growing, complex or place-based organisation.

The responsibilities of this role include:

· Overseeing and ensuring the delivery of national and local communications strategies and plans, including national content activity and priority local campaigns and stakeholder engagement.

· Leading the set-up and embedding of new place-based communications functions.

· Leading and overseeing the planning and delivery of Thrive at Five’s 2026 Impact Report, communications relating to evaluations and learning, and our fifth-year anniversary, working closely with evaluation and fundraising colleagues.

· Maintaining and strengthening relationships with key national and local stakeholders in line with our communications strategy and goals.

· Providing professional and operational leadership and coaching to the wider Communications team to ensure they deliver to a high standard.

Qualified Low Intensity Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) – NHS Pathfinder Partnership

GMRC is a registered charity working with adult women who are victims and survivors of sexual violence and child sexual abuse, providing independent, specialist support and promoting and representing their rights and needs.

The post-holder will be based at GMRC but work alongside TRC and MASH women’s services and work within the pathfinder partnership, across all partner organisations, providing high quality, evidence based, low intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) based interventions using a guided self-help model, to clients with who have experienced sexual trauma but also have additional mental health needs. The post holder will work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and should be committed to equal opportunities.

Key responsibilities:

- Work within the Pathfinder partnership consultation model to identify potential survivors who might benefit from a low intensity psychological intervention.

- Undertake client-centred conversations and assessments which identifies areas where the person wishes to see change and or recovery and makes an accurate assessment of risk to self and others.

- Provide a range of information and support for evidence based, low intensity psychological interventions whilst working within a flexible and person-centred model of care.

- Work closely with other members of the team ensuring appropriate interventions are considered and identify where a transfer of care to an HSP or another pathfinder team member might be required.

- Prepare and present clinical information for all clients on their caseload to clinical case management supervisors within the service on an agreed and scheduled basis, in order to ensure safe practice and the clinical governance obligations of the worker, supervisor and service are delivered.

We’re looking for a Principal Officer – Engagement to lead the development and delivery of SYMCA’s Engagement Strategy, embedding a culture of creative, inclusive, high-quality engagement across the organisation. You’ll coordinate engagement activities, manage engagement leads, and ensure that all engagement work aligns with the Mayor’s priorities and SYMCA’s strategic objectives. This is a senior role with significant influence—helping to build trust, strengthen relationships, and improve outcomes for South Yorkshire.

Main Purpose

At 224 Youth Zone, we’re on a mission to change the future for young people in South Bristol. We need someone to lead the way in building a strong network of supporters who believe in that mission. Then, you’ll get out there meeting individuals, businesses and community leaders across Bristol and beyond showing them how they can be part of something special. Organisation Overview

The County Air Ambulance Trust has been providing essential funds that help to save lives for over a quarter of century, registered as a charity in 1996. From its regional beginnings it has become a national charity and since 2009, following the launch of the HELP Appeal, the charity has been raising much needed funds to provide life-saving helipads where they are needed most

Our HELP (Helicopter Emergency Landing Pads) Appeal is the only charity in the country funding helipads at NHS hospitals. Our mission is to ensure that patients receive timely care by facilitating rapid air ambulance access to hospitals, enhancing patient survival and recovery prospects.

• Identify, research and secure high-value corporate partnerships to generate significant income. This role focuses on developing partnerships with national organisations across the UK, not solely London-based corporates.

• Represent HELP Appeal at networking events, meetings, and presentations to cultivate new opportunities.

• Maintain accurate CRM records and produce regular reports on progress against targets.
• Ensure all fundraising activities comply with legal and ethical standards and reflect best practice.
• Communicate the mission and impact of HELP Appeal effectively to inspire corporate support.

We’re seeking a dedicated Community & Events Co-ordinator to support delivery of inspiring events; support the growth of our community using digital tools; and to help grow and nurture our vibrant network of volunteers.

Key responsibilities:

· Volunteer Recruitment and Engagement:

o Use digital tactics and initiatives to drive volunteer recruitment, manage our volunteer recruitment onboarding process and inspire a new community of volunteers to join CPRE Hertfordshire.  

o Attend volunteering fairs in Hertfordshire to recruit new volunteers.

· Event Co-ordination:

o Organise and manage community events from conception to execution including our annual Countryside Day.

o Utilise strong project management skills, including digital project management tools, working closely with the Chief Executive where appropriate, to oversee logistics, budgets, and outcomes.

o Attend and support community events on behalf of CPRE Hertfordshire including using our contactless machine for merchandise sales.

o Grow the number of community talks CPRE Hertfordshire delivers across Hertfordshire to increase awareness of our charity and its mission.

· Digital Membership Communications:

o Use our digital CRM, MS Dynamics, to set up automated membership renewals campaigns to retain our members.

o Support the Chief Executive with digital membership updates and communications as and when needed.

o Support Chief Executive with supporter to membership digital conversion campaigns.

· Online merchandise sales:

o Take responsibility for our e-commerce including copywriting for digital communications and finding new digital channels to sell our merchandise through.

· Performance Monitoring:

o Track and report on community engagement initiatives, including events, using digital data, online analytics and feedback to refine strategies and ensure ongoing success.

· Administrative Support:

o Maintain up-to-date digital volunteer records in our CRM and ensure compliance with GDPR.

o Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Chief Executive as and when required.

o Manage various tasks related to the upkeep of the office.

Role requirements:

· Strong digital skills including proven success using a digital CRM, email software, and a working knowledge of various social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

· Strong project management and organisational skills including using digital tools to juggle multiple projects, track progress and meet deadlines.

· A natural people person with proven experience in coordinating community-based activities including digital and in-person events.

· Willingness to travel regularly across Hertfordshire to attend events which may sometimes be at weekends.

· Experience as a volunteer; or working with, recruiting or coordinating volunteers.

· Proven ability to build partnerships and networks within local communities.

· Passion for environmental causes, particularly in protecting the countryside.

· A commitment to diversity, equality and inclusion.

· A full UK driving license.

Do you have a keen interest in supporting community health and wellbeing needs?

Would you be willing to develop a good layperson’s knowledge of health and wellbeing issues through reading and training?

We're seeking a Health & Wellbeing Officer to support the delivery of our health and wellbeing community-based projects, including Healthy Hubs in East Herts and Broxbourne, and other initiatives across the operating area.

The post holder will also play a key role supporting the development of new programmes and working alongside a team of staff and volunteers to deliver these services.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team delivering a number of community-based health improvement projects. The role holder will receive training to become a Certified Stop Smoking Practitioner, will undertake delivery of Wellbeing Checks and will also ensure access to Dual Testing Kits and Condom Wallets as part of a programme to improve sexual health across the operating areas in East Herts and Broxbourne.

The role also includes regular liaison with food support agencies and organisations supporting communities with information and advice about financial resilience and debt advice, improving mental wellbeing, becoming more active, losing weight, healthy eating and reducing drug and alcohol use.

Community Alliance (CABEH) is a growing organisation with an ambition to support the voluntary sector achieve meaningful change across Broxbourne and East Herts.

Essential skills, experience and personal attributes:

• Experience of working or volunteering in a community setting.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team of paid staff and volunteers.
• Previous experience or a keen interest in supporting community health and wellbeing needs.
• Knowledge of issues affecting local communities and the VCFSE sector and other partners working to support community health and wellbeing.

Lindengate is a mental health charity that supports children and adults of all ages with their mental, physical, and social wellbeing through nature-based activities.

The Programme Lead is responsible for the design, delivery, and development of community-based wellbeing and mental health programmes. The role ensures services are safe, inclusive, trauma-informed, and responsive to community needs, supporting individuals to improve their mental health, resilience, and quality of life. The postholder will lead programme delivery, manage staff and volunteers, build partnerships, and contribute to monitoring, evaluation, and funding requirements. 

This role is based at our Reading office, working 35 hours per week, Monday through to Friday. About the role 

We are looking for a Data Selection Analyst to join our Customer Experience Data Team. As a Selections Analyst, you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate data selections to support fundraising and marketing communications. Through analysis you will help shape and enhance fundraising efforts, informing targeting and testing, ultimately influencing how we engage with and support our community of donors, volunteers and supporters. 

In this role, you will work with the product teams to inform targeting in order ensure their communications reach the right audience and achieve the most effective results for Guide Dogs. You will analyse campaign performance and provide insightful recommendations to fundraising managers, helping them make informed decisions to maximise income opportunities. Your ability to present clear and actionable data analysis will be essential in driving the success of fundraising campaigns and contributing to the organisation's growth.

Skills we are looking for

Significant knowledge and experience in SQL, Microsoft Excel and Power BI would be key to succeed in this position. Knowledge or working experience on statistical packages, preferably Apteco FastStats or equivalent is desirable but not essential.

This role demands comfort in collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams with potentially opposing objectives. Your ability to communicate clearly and concisely on aspects relating to complex technical to a non-technical audience will be essential. The team works in a demanding environment, where meeting deadline is key whilst balancing against ensuring high quality, accurate and compliant output.
