The role:

A new service in the area, Wigan Crisis Space provides a safe space for those experiencing mental and emotional distress, and suicidal ideation. Forming part of the Greater Manchester VCSE crisis pathway, we are an out-of-hours, non-clinical alternative to A&E for adults to access timely compassionate support from trained recovery workers – the service operates from 3pm to 10pm, 7 days a week.
Salary - £40,300 FTE per annum

As the Service Manager, you will have a strong knowledge of the mental health landscape and a strong track record of effective management. You will have responsibility for two Team Leaders as well as overall leadership of the staff team (totalling 8). You will work closely with other service providers, as well as our Operational Manager, to offer first-class support for Wigan residents.
Main responsibilities:
• Provide leadership and management to the staff team to ensure the delivery of a safe, effective and appropriate service to adults living within the Borough of Wigan.

Community Alcohol Partnerships (CAP) Adviser for East Anglia and the Midlands
Overview of the role
This is an opportunity to take a leading role in helping to change England’s relationship with alcohol starting with young people. Community Alcohol Partnerships (CAP) is looking to engage the services of a results-oriented consultant with great people skills to set up CAP projects in high harm areas.
The successful applicant will have a track record of building effective partnerships, the people and communication skills to involve and engage a wide range of local stakeholders and the leadership and project management skills to support projects through each phase of their lifecycle including baseline evaluation, action plan delivery, post intervention evaluation and maintenance/sustainment. After a short familiarisation period the successful applicant will be expected to oversee fast-track development of new CAPs in priority areas and take responsibility for all aspects of their management with minimal supervision.
A key requisite of the role will be the ability to forge effective public/private sector partnerships between statutory agencies, schools, youth charities and retailers following the CAP model and evaluation framework. The successful applicant may come from a police, public health, education, local authority or other relevant background.
Key Responsibilities
• Proactively identify opportunities for new CAPs and facilitate set up of new CAPs in priority areas.
• Maintain and oversee the workstreams of pre-existing CAPs across the East of England and East Anglia.
• Ensure that all CAP projects carry out appropriate and timely interventions and evaluate all activity in line with the CAP evaluation toolkit – including a baseline and post intervention evaluation.
• Raise the profile of CAPs in East Anglia and the Midlands and ensure that their impact is recognised by key stakeholders.
Specific duties to include the following:
• Represent CAP at all operational meetings.
• Ensure that Retail of Alcohol Standards Group (RASG) member companies play a full delivery role in each CAP where they operate as businesses.
• Liaise as appropriate with strategic leads within local enforcement authorities and other partner organisations to initiate and complete agreed actions
• Encourage all projects to achieve positive local media coverage including via social media and regional news/broadcast media.
• Ensure that all projects carry out as a minimum a baseline (pre-CAP) evaluation and post intervention evaluation following the CAP evaluation framework and project management survey tools.
• Produce a monthly progress report on all schemes and pipeline activity
• Attend and participate in regular CAP update meetings on Microsoft teams (x12 pa).
• Assist with event planning and profile-raising opportunities such as MP visits to CAP projects.
Skills, attributes and experience
Essential to the role will be the ability to persuade key stakeholders at local and national level of the need to address underage drinking problems and to facilitate effective and dynamic local partnerships involving any/all of the following sectors: local authorities, education, child protection, social services, public health, Alcohol and Drug Partnerships, police, retailers and licensing.
• Excellent organisational and sound project management skills
• Great people skills with the ability to build consensus and motivate partners to play a role in timely delivery of an agreed action plan.
• Act as an ambassador for CAP at meetings and events including parliamentary events.
• Excellent presentation and all-round communication skills.
• Capable administrator with the ability to keep accurate records including data collection around outputs and impact evaluation.
Remuneration
Consultancy fee of £320 per day depending on experience. Work will depend on ability to generate interest in setting up new CAPs but we anticipate as a guideline engaging a minimum of 2 days of consultancy per week or around 90 days per annum. All reasonable and agreed travel expenses will be paid in line with invoice arrangements.

Purpose of the role
The Family Support Manager sits within the Therapeutic Services Division at The Green House The role is responsible for managing the Family Support Team who offer Initial Meetings to young people/families/professionals, one-to-one Family Support sessions, multi-agency casework, psychoeducational parent groups and, as well as the Pathway Administrators of the therapeutic services. The post holder will work as part of the Management Team, contributing to service development across the organisation in line with The Green House’s strategy. The Family Support Manager will hold Safeguarding Advisor responsibilities within the organisation. The normal place of work is The Green House, Bristol however it may be necessary from time to time to attend meetings and events elsewhere.
Duties and responsibilities
Service Management
- Recruit, support and line manage the Family Support Practitioners and Pathway Administrators.
- Act as a Safeguarding Advisor. As the Safeguarding Advisor, you will attend appropriate Safeguarding training relevant to the level of work and role and ensure that you attend annual refresher training.
- To act as a member of the Management Team for the organisation to ensure that services are offered at a consistently high standard and the team is effectively managed.
- Develop and maintain successful professional partnerships with stakeholders including families, referrers, partners and statutory, private and other voluntary agencies to raise awareness of The Green House and our services.
- Develop and maintain local relationships to support fundraising activity for The Green House’s service delivery.
- To manage the relationships in place between The Green House and the External Clinical Supervisors supporting the Family Support Team and Pathway Administrators. Arrange annual meetings with supervisors and manage the annual report process.
- To continually review and monitor access to our service provision, identifying ways where this can be developed and innovated whilst keeping true to the fundamental principles, values and mission of the service.
- To contribute to all additional pieces of work as outlined by the CEO of the organisation.

- Ensure whole team participation to collect and monitor data in support of service delivery and outcomes evaluation activities for the Family Support Team.

Therapeutic services responsibilities
- To lead weekly Family Support and Pathway Admin team meetings. Facilitate team discussions around aspects of the Family Support casework with children, young people, families, and other agencies, safeguarding and risk management, reflective practice and provide peer support opportunities.
- To qualify Requests for Support (referrals) with the CYP Therapeutic Manager.
- Participate in weekly triage meetings in partnership with the CYP Therapeutic Manager.
- To manage the day-to-day practice of the Family Support Service, within this sits management and oversight of the Parent Group, one-to-one work and Initial Meetings.
- To ensure that data, monitoring, outcomes and evaluation gathered as part of the Family Support service are input appropriately into the organisation’s case management system to assist with annual monitoring and reporting processes. To review these processes in partnership with the Research Manager.
- To lead on development and review of services, processes and documentation associated with the Family Support service.
- To monitor and manage the Therapeutic Services waiting lists, service delivery and KPIs in partnership with the Management team on a monthly basis.
- Management of Pre-Trial notes requests, in relation to statutory investigations and our pre-trial work prior to court proceedings.
- To attend all relevant external meetings with other agencies and professionals as required.
- To respond appropriately and in a timely manner to external queries regarding the Family Support service, providing relevant information where required. To develop new relationships and partnerships with appropriate agencies and professionals to assist with the growth and reputation of the service.
- Manage Subject Access Requests made by children, young people and families in partnership with the Data Protection Officer.
General Responsibilities

The Peer Recovery Worker will support people who are sleeping rough, at risk of rough
sleeping, or going through important stages in housing and recovery. The main purpose
of this role is to help reduce the harm caused by rough sleeping.
You will listen, build trust, give practical help and share clear information. You will help
people connect with the right support, including housing, health care, drug and alcohol
services, benefits advice, community groups, and services based at WSUP.
WSUP is not a drug and alcohol treatment provider, so this role does not involve
clinical treatment or specialist interventions. Instead, you will help people understand
their options, prepare for appointments, overcome barriers and stay connected with
services that can meet their needs.
You do not need to have all the answers.

About the Schools Consent Project
The Schools Consent Project is a UK-based charity dedicated to educating young people about sexual consent and healthy relationships. We deliver workshops in schools and educational settings led by trained volunteer lawyers. By introducing consent literacy at school, young people are more likely to make informed, ethical decisions and are less likely to experience or perpetrate sexual violence in later life.

Role Summary
The Outreach Manager is responsible for driving the expansion of the Schools Consent Project’s reach, engagement, and impact across London and the South East. Acting as the organisation’s lead “sales” and business development professional, you will contribute to and manage our strong pipeline of partner schools and organisations, convert leads into confirmed bookings, and maximise long-term engagement.
You will own the end-to-end outreach and partnership journey: from prospecting and lead generation, through relationship development and negotiation, to repeat engagement and retention.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Lead Generation
• Develop and execute a proactive outreach and growth strategy to increase workshop bookings.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing schools; ensure SCP’s workshop content remains responsive and reactive to the emerging concerns of young people when it comes to sex, consent and the online world.
• Generate leads through cold outreach, referrals, events, and campaigns.
• Contribute to and maintain a pipeline of new schools and educational settings.
• Reinvigorate historic relationships with schools.
Account Management
• Convert enquiries and prospects into confirmed programme partners.
• Present the charity’s offer and impact to senior school leaders, safeguarding leads, and decision-makers.
• Manage key accounts and ensure high levels of partner satisfaction and retention.
• Promote additional workshops and programmes where appropriate (eg. teacher training; parent workshops).
• Track booking trends eg. seasonal vs. reactive bookings; develop a communication strategy around each ‘type’ of school, involving timely booking reminders.
Pipeline, Targets & Performance
• Manage outreach targets for bookings, partnerships, and regional coverage.
• Monitor conversion rates, pipeline value, and performance metrics.
• Produce regular forecasts and performance reports.
• Use data and insight to refine sales strategies and improve outcomes.
Marketing & Promotion
• Help develop compelling outreach materials and campaigns.
• Deliver presentations, webinars, and pitches to prospective educational partners.
• Represent the organisation at conferences, networks, and sector events.
• Help gather case studies, testimonials, and impact data to support outreach and fundraising.
Delivery Coordination
• Work closely with our Volunteer Manager and Operations Manager to match supply with demand.
• Ensure smooth handover from booking to delivery.
• Anticipate capacity constraints and manage partner expectations.
Team Leadership & Development
• Contribute to the development of outreach systems, processes, and tools.
• Share insights and learning across the organisation.
• Oversee team members currently managing school outreach.
Person Specification
Essential Criteria
• Proven experience in sales, business development, partnerships, or outreach roles.
• Experience working with schools, education providers, or youth services.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong relationship management and account development experience.
• Highly organised, with strong CRM and data management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and drive results.
Desirable Criteria
• Experience working in the charity, education, or public sectors.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection frameworks.
