The Kids Network is a London based children’s charity connecting young people with trained volunteer mentors.

We’re looking for a highly organised, relationship focused School Experience Officer to support our school partnerships strategy and ensure every school has a brilliant experience of our programme.

• Location: London-based (Hybrid - Remote, Office and Field based)

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a highly organised, relationship focused School Experience Officer to join our Programme Delivery team and support our Schools and Partnerships Leader. This role is central to ensuring that every school we work with receives a consistent, high quality experience of our mentoring programme. 

You’ll manage the day‑to‑day administration of school referrals, support schools to contribute financially to the programme, and help nurture strong, positive relationships with both new and existing school partners. If you’re proactive, detail‑driven and passionate about improving outcomes for children in London, this could be the perfect role for you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

SCHOOL REFERRALS & ADMINISTRATION

• Manage the day-to-day administration of the referral process, from initial enquiry to a child being matched with a mentor 
• Apply a ‘schools first’, customer service approach by supporting schools to complete referrals accurately and in a timely way, following up proactively to keep pipelines moving 
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all referrals and school interactions on our CRM (Salesforce), flagging any issues to the Schools & Partnerships Leader 
• Responsibility for securing a minimum number of referrals from schools 
• Income Generation Support 
• Support the Schools & Partnerships Leader to secure financial contributions from school partners, including preparing proposals, invoices and contribution agreements 
• Follow the financial procedures for contributions from referral partners and maintain accurate records 
• Help to identify and follow up on income opportunities with existing and prospective school partners 
• Encourage schools to run simple fundraising activities within their communities 

SCHOOL RELATIONSHIPS & EXPEREINCE

• Act as a first point of contact for schools on day-to-day queries, providing a warm, professional and responsive service 
• Coordinate communications with schools throughout the programme cycle, including onboarding, quality assurance check ins and end of programme impact collection from schools 
• Support the delivery team with the smooth handover of referrals, ensuring school partners feel informed and well-supported 
• Gather school feedback and share insights with the Schools & Partnerships Leader to support continuous improvement 
• Building and maintaining internal and external relationships, attending events or actively stewarding our offer with stakeholders 

PARTNERSHIP DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT

• Assist the Schools & Partnerships Leader in identifying and approaching prospective school partners 
• Help to prepare materials for school outreach, including presentations, information packs and email communications 
• Maintain an up-to-date record of prospective and active school partners, supporting the management of the partnership pipeline 
• Identify what’s working well across schools and share best practice 

GENERAL & ADMINISTRATIVE

• Support the Schools & Partnerships Leader with administrative tasks related to school engagement and partnership work 
• Contribute to team meetings and planning processes as required 
• Act in compliance with all organisational policies and procedures, including data protection and GDPR

The post holder will help support the collection, collation, and digitisation of ecological data relating to species, sites and habitats across our landscape. Your work will be critical to the success of EcoRecord – the region’s Environmental Records Centre - and aid in the protection of local wildlife of great value to people, and communities in our region.

As a wildlife charity serving a heavily urbanised area, a major element of our work is to provide ecological evidence and related information, that supports the designation of wildlife sites and informs the protection of nature in the face of urban development.

You will work within EcoRecord to deliver high quality data products and services to a range of customers and users. EcoRecord is part of a network of Local Environmental Records Centres across the UK and provides information services to a wide range of users such as local authorities, statutory agencies, ecological consultants, national and local recording schemes, and others.

The post of Biodiversity Data and Evidence Officer is a central and varied role within EcoRecord, that will include making use of GIS mapping and specialised databases to analyse and digitise ecological data. The role will also include promoting high quality biological recording activities, supporting specialist recording groups, and engaging with volunteers, including through our social media channels. You will assist with key aspects of the day-to-day operation of the records centre, including the maintenance, management, and development of core data sets and analytic processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the development and growth of EcoRecord’s data infrastructure by supporting the collection, collation and computerisation of ecological and other relevant data (primarily species, sites and habitats data), through the competent use of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and, though not exclusively, Recorder 6.
• Contribute to the improvement of data management systems and processes.
• Contribute to the delivery of projects that deliver nature’s recovery across Birmingham and the Black Country.
• Assist with the adoption and development of practices and tools that improve the efficiency of data management and data availability.
• Assist with data analysis and the production of high-quality data products and services.
• Be an advocate for and help to promote high quality biological recording in Birmingham and the Black Country.
• Assist in supporting specialist species interest groups and the wider volunteer recording networks throughout Birmingham and the Black Country and with enabling the development and formation of new interest groups.
• Assist and support surveys and local recording initiatives, including the City Nature Challenge.
• Contribute to EcoRecord’s and the Wildlife Trust’s online presence through producing content for social media and website etc. in collaboration with colleagues including the Trust’s Communication Department.
• Assist in the recruitment and supervision of volunteers in a range of activities, namely surveying and data entry.

We are looking for a resilient and dedicated individual to join our Avon & Somerset team as a Caseworker, working within the VS team as part of the Avon & Somerset Victim Service partnership.

The service provides support to anyone aged over 18 affected by crime and anti-social behaviour across the whole geography of Avon & Somerset. This role is part-time, and is hybrid working both from home and 1 day a week in Keynsham Police Station (a suitable and confidential workspace at home is required).

During initial training and whilst awaiting police vetting the successful candidate will be required to work 1 day a week from our office based in the Vassall Centre in Fishponds, Bristol. When vetting has completed the job location will be Keynsham Police Station, with occasional working days from the Vassall Centre.

About the Role

As a Caseworker you will provide high quality support to victims of crime and anti-social behaviour, leading on completing initial impact and risk assessments that are comprehensive and holistic. You will also contribute to providing cover for the local VS Helpline.

Key Responsibilities:

• Effectively manage a caseload of self-referrals or referred victims.
• Ensure each victim receives individually appropriate tailored support that fully meets their needs, keeping complex needs central to all processes and decisions.
• Throughout a support relationship consistently revisiting impacts and outcomes of the victim, addressing emerging support needs within an agreed framework.
• Undertake risk and needs assessments to address the specific needs of the victim in line with VS operating procedures.
• Follow relevant safeguarding policies and procedures, working with safeguarding leads and other agencies to ensure an integrated approach to address any safeguarding concerns.
• Provide information and advocacy to enable service users to navigate and understand the criminal justice process and ensure their rights are upheld in accordance with the Victims Code of Practice.
• Identify barriers to individuals accessing our services and determine solutions. Working with existing multi-agency partners to which victims can be referred for ongoing and specialist support.
• To work alongside a team of staff and volunteers to reflect the diverse community and the needs of the victims, including those with particular vulnerabilities, to deliver individual, bespoke services with respect, dignity and sensitivity.
• Maintain accurate and confidential case records, complying with data protection and all other legislation connected to your work and sharing protocols where necessary.

Junior Impact Analyst Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include.

· Supporting on all data related aspects of the programme including data collection, extraction, cleaning, analysis, reporting, and presentation as well as some programme administration.

· Completing data checks to ensure good quality quantitative and qualitative data is collected by frontline workers.

· Maintaining and updating Power BI dashboards with support from central teams. 

· Regular reporting with insights that support continuous improvement of the programme design and delivery.

· Gathering and analysing data to measure the impact of service innovations.

· Producing monthly board packs for programme performance management.

· Supporting Delivery Partner teams (VCSE organisations who are delivering the frontline services) to ensure they are using the data systems accurately and effectively.

· Identifying opportunities for process automation and improving utilisation of management data by colleagues across the programme.

· Supporting with programme administration including task planning, scheduling meetings, preparing invoices, writing minutes of meetings.

· Engaging with other analysts across BOP to share learnings from your own project and implement learnings from other projects in your own.

International Nepal Fellowship (INF) is a Christian health and development charity. Since 1952 they have had a huge impact serving the most disadvantaged people and communities in Nepal.

The Role

As Supporter Engagement Officer you will play a key role in the stewardship of INF supporters. Reporting directly to the Head of Fundraising and Communications, you will support the team to deliver the highest level of supporter engagement.

The main responsibilities will include:

• Creating high-quality content, including prayer resources, to communicate effectively with supporters.
• Managing content for INF’s website, social media and e-marketing campaigns.

Role Particulars 

Working Pattern 

Full-time, including weekly (Tuesday) in-person team meetings in London. The rhythm is as follows: All-staff meetings on 1st and 3rd week of the month, and individual Operational team days on the 2nd and 4th week of the month. The nature of this role means that some travel and working away from home will be required, as agreed in advance. Specifically, the post holder must be available for the annual leadership conference and the New Wine summer festival.

Job description

Working closely with the Research Manager and Executive Director, the Research Fellow will:

• Conduct desk-based research and contribute to literature reviews on inequality, immigration, tax, political narratives

• Support the development and refinement of the project’s research design, including identifying innovative approaches for working with community researchers and conducting ethical, inclusive research in working-class communities

• Support the recruitment, coordination and preparation of participants and community research partners across the project’s four to five research locations

• Travel to fieldwork locations across the UK to attend, observe and support the delivery of focus groups and interviews

About The Role

We are currently recruiting for two Practice Lead positions. One role will support Local House Projects (LHPs) in the North, while the location and focus of the second role is still to be confirmed.

As a Practice Lead, you will have primary responsibility for supporting a group of LHPs, while also contributing to wider areas of our work. You will work alongside staff within LHPs to create environments where young people are supported to make a positive transition into adulthood.

A key part of the role is working in partnership with the Care Leavers National Movement and the wider House Project team to ensure that young people remain at the heart of everything we do. You will support young people to shape and drive their own LHPs, while helping to develop and share excellent practice at both local and national levels.

About the organisation

The charity was established in August 2018 as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), they support local authorities in setting up Local House Projects for young people leaving care. Believing every care leaver should have this option, the charity empowers them to create and sustain homes.

The initiative, co-designed with young people, began by asking, "What makes a house a home?” Local House Projects in England and Scotland help care leavers transition into permanent tenancies, fostering a supportive community. The charity has helped over 780 young people successfully move into their own homes, with no evictions or tenancy breakdowns, ensuring a secure start for their futures.

This role has become available due to growth of the charity.

About You

We are looking for someone who is motivated and believes that with the right support care experienced young people can achieve great things and should be at the heart of all decisions that affect their future.

You will need to have the following skills and experience:

• A Social Work qualification
• An understanding of Child development, Trauma informed care and Social pedagogical approaches
• An understanding of the care system
• Experience of working in a local authority social work team
• Experience of managing and supervising staff
