Liberty has launched an ambitious new strategy in a rapidly changing external environment, where existential threats to human rights and civil liberties give our work a renewed sense of urgency.
Leading our external relations directorate, you will work across policy and public affairs, communications and engagement, and legal, to deliver our strategy, shape national debate, influence decision-makers, and strengthen Liberty’s reputation as a trusted, principled and independent voice on human rights and civil liberties. You will build influential and impactful relationships with government, decision-makers, think tanks, NGOs and media partners, and explore new partnerships across other sectors to broaden our impact and reach.
You will have the experience and skills to lead and inspire teams, embed effective cross-team systems and practice, and deliver high-impact work in a fast-paced and challenging external context.
You will have exceptional delivery skills, as well as demonstrable experience delivering through and across external-facing functions in multi-disciplinary and complex mission-driven, values-based organisations, balancing both longer-term proactive work as well as reactive work. You will need to demonstrate exceptional political judgement and insight, a proven track record of influencing, and strong experience of managing organisational risk in a fast-paced, complex and sometimes hostile external context. You will have an excellent grasp of detail as well as the ability to communicate complex issues well to a wide variety of stakeholders, including as a leading spokesperson for Liberty.
As a member of a small Senior Leadership Team, you will be delivering organisation-wide work for which you will need demonstrable experience of leading and delivering complex internal work, excellent communications skills, the confidence and experience to embed a values-based approach across organisational functions, and the ability to work collaboratively and in an agile way in a small leadership team.

We're looking for an experienced Communications Manager who can create clear, engaging and impactful communications that help residents and colleagues feel informed, connected and involved in the future of Morden College.
This is a highly collaborative role at the heart of our organisation. Working across teams, you'll help bring our strategy, values and ambitions to life through communications that build understanding, trust and a shared sense of purpose. We're looking for an exceptional writer and communicator with a talent for turning complex information into clear, engaging content. About the role
CTI is part of a housing-led response to ending homelessness. CTI is an evidence-based model, designed for times of transition for people who require support to navigate often fragmented systems. It uses a time limited case management approach to support people through a period of transition which works towards preventing and ending homelessness.
The model is strictly time limited and prescriptive in its application and Crisis’ CTI pilot will run close to the CTI principles. The timing of movement through the phases is defined by the Programme model.
CTI consists of four main phases:
The post holder will be working within the framework of CTI, supporting prison leavers from prison into accommodation, thus preventing homelessness on release from custody.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have experience of delivering person centred support with statutory and non-statutory services within the criminal justice system, offering coaching and mentoring, learning support and/or personal development training, ideally working to matrix standards. You will also have an appreciation of delivering this within a time limited framework.
You will demonstrate knowledge of issues affecting homeless or vulnerably housed individuals which could include mental illness, addiction, the benefit system and housing. Being committed to empowering homeless and vulnerably housed individuals is essential to this role.

The role:
This role covers the current post-holder's maternity leave for an anticipated 15 months. As Financial Controller you will lead CSE's finance team, directing and overseeing the finance function in compliance with appropriate accounting standards and practices, company and charity law.
You will provide timely, accurate financial and management information to support strategic decision-making and effective budgetary control by our Senior Leadership Team, Trustees, project managers and other budget holders. You will line manage the Finance Manager and Finance Assistant and be a member of CSE's Senior Management Team.
Reporting to the Director of Finance and Operations, you will work alongside the wider Operations Team to provide operational support that underpins delivery of our charitable mission. This is a fast-paced role and we need someone who can get up to speed with minimal delay.

The Programmes Executive will play a key role in supporting our community of primary and secondary schools throughout the school year. You will help design and deliver Bite Back in Schools, ensuring a positive and engaging experience for young people, their teachers and their schools whilst making sure the programme achieves meaningful impact.
Alongside day-to-day programme delivery, you will contribute to a range of initiatives across the organisation, including supporting an exciting collaboration with the School Food Project and helping to coordinate and support wider organisational events such as our youth residentials.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Programme delivery
Schedule and organise visits to schools, agreeing agendas with the schools in advance to include meeting pupils and teachers, leading feedback sessions and focus groups and supporting the development of their social action campaigns.
Schedule and deliver assemblies with primary and secondary schools participating in the programme, coordinating with our Bite Back ambassadors.
Support the School Ambassadors with travel logistics as they deliver assemblies in schools across England and Scotland.
Deliver training and webinars for schools where necessary.
Maintain and regularly update programme management software and associated data to ensure accurate and up to date information for all participating primary schools.
Ensure successful end-to-end support for the 5+ primary schools participating in the programme throughout the 26/27 school year.
Celebrate and share examples of best practice and impactful social action projects amongst our community of schools.
Relationship management
Provide ongoing support to both primary and secondary schools throughout their time on the programme, building strong working relationships with participating schools.
Support communication with all primary schools, providing a point of contact for the coordinator and lead teacher in each school.
Support monitoring and evaluation through creation of surveys, ensuring completion of baseline and end of year surveys, and analysis of data submitted (working with our Impact & Evaluation Manager).
Provide timely responses to school queries and alert the Programmes Manager of any potential risks.
Proactively seek feedback from teachers and young people on our programmes.
Ensure opportunities for schools to engage in at least two one-on-one meetings with our team during the school year.
Build productive relationships with programme partners.
Project support
Help coordinate our relationship with our partners in The School Food Project, including Chefs in Schools, School Food Matters, Food Foundation & Jamie Oliver’s Group.
Support the national rollout of the Bite Back in Schools Primary programme, translating insights and evidence from two successful pilot programmes into engaging assemblies and high-quality resources that drive effective programme delivery and impact.
Provide support to Programme Manager in the delivery of projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and scope.
Provide ad hoc input to evolving organisational requirements as directed by senior team members.
Event support
Support the planning, coordination and delivery of Bite Back events throughout the year, including travelling as required to meet the operational needs of the Youth teams.
Coordinate the logistical arrangements for youth residential events, including travel, accommodation and other practical requirements.
Contribute to event planning and preparation, including resource ordering, coordination and ensuring all materials are organised and available in advance.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Safe Haven Team Leader.
10 hours per week - 2 x 5 hour shifts.

Andover Mind is one of the leading mental health providers in Hampshire. Our Safe Haven service supports those in mental health crisis in Basingstoke and mid Hampshire. The service is covered 7 evenings a week from 5.30pm to 10.30pm, 365 days a year (including bank holidays) on a rolling 4 week rota, and is based at our Wellbeing facility in Basingstoke.
The role of Team Leader is therefore crucial, by leading our teams of Practitioners who will deliver our important Safe Haven service.
To succeed in this role you will be required to support our Safe Haven Manager by utilising your previous supervisory/Team Leading skills. You should be self motivated, be able to demonstrate experience of working with, and an understanding of, those experiencing a mental health crisis whilst remaining calm and professional in any stressful or challenging situation.

The Head of Support and Advocacy provides operational leadership across We Are Survivors’ support and advocacy services. This includes overseeing our trauma-informed, survivor-centred approach; monitoring service performance; safeguarding and record-keeping; and ensuring contractual commitments and quality standards are met. You’ll be an experienced operational or clinical leader who is comfortable overseeing services that work with trauma, mental health and complex needs. Experience of working with men, sexual harms or people with lived experience would be valuable, alongside the ability to build strong relationships with staff, partners and stakeholders.
