We are looking for an Interim Head of Marketing and Communications to lead this function during an exciting period of transition and growth. This role will play a pivotal part in delivering our communications and brand strategy, supporting the rollout of our new organisational strategy, and maintaining momentum across high‑profile campaigns and projects.
Reporting to the Director of Fundraising and Engagement, you’ll oversee marketing and communications across the organisation, line managing a team of specialists and working closely with the Senior Leadership Team. You’ll provide strategic leadership, clear direction and hands‑on support, ensuring activity is well planned, insight‑driven and aligned to our wider organisational objectives.
This role is ideal for an experienced marketing and communications leader, ideally from the charity sector, who can combine strategic thinking with strong delivery, and who thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

The role
This is a full-time (35 hours per week), fixed-term position to July 2027.
We operate a hybrid working model. You will usually work remotely but will be expected to attend meetings at our office near London Bridge when required. Please note that travel costs to the office are not covered.

This is a new role within the Individual Giving team, supporting our ambition to grow and develop unrestricted income. The Fundraising Assistant will help plan and deliver high-quality print and digital communications that recruit new supporters, engage existing donors, and promote a range of ways to give, including regular giving, gifts in Wills, and DIY fundraising.
Working closely with colleagues across Individual Giving and the wider organisation, you will gain hands-on experience of a broad range of fundraising and marketing techniques. You will support the delivery of fundraising activity while contributing ideas that help shape future Individual Giving approaches, improve supporter experience, and maximise long-term giving.

About you
Experience / Qualifications:
· Educated to degree level or able to demonstrate relevant transferable experience in fundraising, marketing, communications, administration or a related field.
· Experience supporting projects or campaigns within fundraising, marketing, communications or events, either through paid employment, volunteering or placements.
· Experience working collaboratively as part of a team to deliver activities to agreed deadlines.
· Experience following administrative processes, managing multiple priorities and maintaining accurate records.
· Experience using Microsoft Office and confidence learning to use new systems and digital platforms. Experience of working with databases or CRM systems would be an advantage.
· An interest in fundraising, marketing and the charity sector, with a willingness to develop knowledge of Individual Giving.

Role purpose
The Head of Finance is a key member of the Charity’s senior management team, working closely with the chief executive, directors, and trustees. The head of finance will lead the day-to-day financial operations of the Charity, including budgeting, reporting, audit, payroll, and pensions. Managing the finance manager and management accountant, the Head of Finance will ensure the effective running of the finance department and smooth day-to-day processes. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you will be a key advisor on strategic financial decisions, balancing meticulous operational control with strategic planning.
As the Head of Finance, you will:
- Proactively contribute to the development and delivery of the Charity’s strategy through developing long-term financial planning to underpin our objectives.
- Act as senior finance business partner to the senior leadership team, supporting strategic and operational decision-making.
- Lead on the annual audit and production of statutory accounts, ensuring effective management of the audit process.

Main responsibilities
Financial controls, reporting, and operational finance
- Lead the finance function of the Charity, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial management and reporting.
- Ensure that appropriately robust internal financial and operational controls are in place.
- Ensure that our unrestricted and restricted funds and accounting records are maintained in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements and best practice.
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly management accounts and other reports are produced by the finance team and distributed to members of the senior management team, encouraging ownership of departmental budgets.
- Manage and oversee accounts receivable and payable, ensuring strong cash management.
- Ensure all banking facilities, financial systems, and internal processes function to a high standard and enable the Charity to carry out its transactional and operational financial functions.
- Lead financial risk identification and mitigation, working closely with the chief executive and leadership team, and reporting to the board of trustees.
Financial administration and governance
- Manage the production of statutory accounts in line with the Charity SORP and lead the annual external audit process.
- Oversee our tax affairs, including PAYE, national insurance, corporation tax, VAT, and gift aid.
- Responsible for our payroll and pensions functions.
- Maintain and continuously improve financial policies, procedures, and controls, working closely with the fundraising and operations teams to ensure organisational efficiency.

We are looking for candidates with demonstrable strategic financial leadership spanning organisational planning, budgeting, risk, and reporting. You will have:
- You must be a fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, OR CIMA)

About the role
The Head of Income Generation is a new and important leadership role within Stonewall Housing, created to grow and diversify our voluntary income and support the next stage of our development as a nationwide LGBTQ+ housing and homelessness charity.
Reporting to the Director of Development, you will lead the development and delivery of ambitious income generation plans, with a particular focus on significantly growing income from corporate giving and partnerships.
You will build on Stonewall Housing’s existing corporate relationships while identifying and securing new opportunities across the UK. This will include strategic and commercial partnerships, Charity of the Year relationships, corporate donations, corporate foundations, employee fundraising, sponsorship, cause-related marketing and other opportunities for businesses and their employees to support our work.
You will develop compelling partnership propositions, lead applications and pitches, build relationships with senior decision-makers and create opportunities that deliver sustainable income alongside wider value for Stonewall Housing and the LGBTQ+ communities we support.
Alongside your focus on corporate income, you will work across Stonewall Housing’s wider fundraising portfolio, contributing to the development and growth of individual giving, major donor fundraising, community fundraising and other voluntary income streams. What you’ll be doing:
• Overseeing the day-to-day compliance, management and maintenance of our park, playgrounds, sports facilities, and Grade II listed buildings.

About the Role

Essential:
- Experience of managing or leading teams within domestic abuse, social care, housing, community safety or a related support environment.
- Strong knowledge of domestic abuse, trauma-informed practice, safeguarding for adults and children, and risk management in complex cases.
- Ability to provide effective supervision, case oversight and reflective support that promotes staff wellbeing, professional curiosity and high-quality practice.
- Experience of performance monitoring, report writing and using data, feedback and outcomes information to support service improvement.
- Ability to build positive working relationships with statutory, voluntary and community partners and represent the organisation confidently in multi-agency settings.
- Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain accurate records and reporting.

Desirable
- ILM, CMI or another relevant management qualification, or evidence of continued professional development in leadership.

This exciting role links our 350+ community organisations that receive food from us — known as our Community Food Members (CFMs) — with our thriving and fast-paced food operation. As the Food & Membership Operations Coordinator, you will work across the charity with the Food, Membership and Warehouse Teams, as well as our large and diverse volunteer community, to ensure CFM organisations receive a smooth, reliable and high-quality service each week.
The purpose of this role is to strengthen the connection between food supply, warehouse capacity and member demand. Acting as a key cross-functional coordinator, you will help ensure that surplus food flows efficiently into the organisation and out to the communities who need it. You will support both food-sourcing and membership functions, helping resolve issues quickly, improving communication, maintaining accurate data, and ensuring operational plans are aligned across teams.
Reporting to the Food Manager, with a dotted line to the Membership Manager, this role is central to improving collaboration across the organisation and ensuring FareShare South West delivers a safe, efficient and impactful service to frontline community organisations across the region.
1) Cross-Functional Coordination
- Support daily and weekly communication between Food, Membership and Operations regarding supply and membership demand
- Maintain awareness of the food pipeline, providing timely updates on incoming supply, changes, restraints, gluts or shortages.
- Assist the Food Manager and Membership Managers with aligning food allocation planning to member needs, operational realities and transport schedules.
- Help coordinate solutions to operational challenges (e.g., quality issues, storage constraints, cancellations, short-dated stock).
2) Food Sourcing Support
- Support the Food Manager with local food sourcing activity, particularly in administration, supplier updates and basic relationship maintenance.
- Be a point of contact for day-to-day supplier communication, ensuring timely responses and accurate information flow
- Help maintain accurate sourcing records and documentation, including volumes, quality notes and engagement history.
- Support awareness-raising activities about FSSW’s surplus redistribution capability (e.g., events, promotional updates).
- Assist with capturing local supply opportunities and best practice shared through the FareShare Network and escalating them to the Food Manager.
- Help coordinate truck logistics schedules in partnership with Operations ensuring incoming food is aligned with capacity.
- Assist with food safety and compliance tasks related to local sourcing (e.g., documentation updates, supplier follow-up, recall administration) under direction from the Food Manager.
3) Member Support & Service Delivery
- Support member onboarding, offboarding, account updates, queries, complaints and general membership administration.
- Lead on resolving daily member-facing issues, including food quality concerns and product recalls, escalating where appropriate.
- Support food allocation writing, ensuring allocations reflect supply, need and warehouse capacity.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date member information, including delivery instructions, profiles and seasonal variations.
- Support membership-related campaigns, events and targeted projects (e.g., HAF, bolt-on models, piloted services).
- Communicate supply changes, special offers and gluts/shortages clearly to members in coordination with relevant teams.
4) Data, CRM & Reporting
- Maintain accurate member records in Salesforce and ensure data integrity across systems.
- Support reporting for funders, SLT and internal operational updates, including supply, allocations, member engagement and service metrics.
- Track and summarise recurring issues (e.g., cancellations, quality problems, demand spikes) to support decision-making.
- Contribute to KPI monitoring across both Membership and Food functions.
5) Compliance, Food Safety & Member Standards
- Operate in accordance with the FareShare Food Safety Manual and maintain required training.
- Support documentation for community food member (CFM) compliance, including kitchen checks, food safety standards and follow-up actions.
- Conduct in-person compliance visits with member organisations as required.
- Provide administrative support for product recalls, safety notices and compliance related communication.
Person Specification
Essential Criteria
- Experience or knowledge working in an operational, coordination or customer/member support role
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Confidence working with data and digital systems
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, able to coordinate across teams and externally
Desirable Criteria
- Experience in food sourcing, logistics, warehousing or surplus food redistribution, or an understanding of how food supply chains operate.
- Knowledge of food safety, warehouse processes or compliance requirements, or a willingness to develop this expertise.
- Experience using Salesforce, or similar CRM systems, with confidence managing data integrity and reporting.
- Experience working in a charity, community food environment or membership-based service
- Ability to build strong working relationships across internal teams and with external partners, suppliers or community groups.
- Comfortable representing the organisation externally
- Experience supporting projects or campaigns, including administration, coordination and communication tasks.

Our client is a music focused charity, headed by a leading UK music figure and they are looking for an Operations Officer to join a small, passionate team working towards a meaningful mission: helping ensure every child has access to music and creative opportunities.
