About the role

We are looking for an experienced, passionate and motivated SEND Family Support Coordinator to join our Carers Support Service in Milton Keynes to play a vital role in supporting unpaid carers who look after children and adults with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) and learning difficulties by reducing isolation, building resilience, and helping carers feel supported, connected, and empowered.

As a Family Support Coordinator, you will:

• Provide online and community-based individual and group support to Carers supporting children and adults with SEND and learning difficulties
• Develop themed based peer support groups, workshops, and community-based activities
• Help reduce social isolation by building strong support networks among carers
• Work collaboratively with Carers to identify needs and provide practical and emotional support
• Recruit, train, and support a team of volunteers to deliver community-based support
• Encourage Carers’ engagement and participation within the local community
• Build partnerships with local services and stakeholders to strengthen support pathways
• Work alongside our partner TalkBack and the MK Carers Hub organisations to share

Educated to NVQ Level 3 or above in social work, health, education, or equivalent experience is essential. Experience of working with individuals and/or families with SEND and learning disabilities is desirable.

The salary for 21 hours per week is £15,910.49 per annum.

We are seeking a proactive, organised and relationship-focused Community & Volunteer Events Coordinator to lead the coordination and delivery of community projects, family activities and volunteer engagement opportunities across Camden and Islington.

About the role

This role will lead and manage the Trust’s Landscapes Recovery team, including leading and developing the Trust’s land management advisory work to support landowners and landholders to contribute to nature’s recovery. 

The postholder will work alongside the Rivers Recovery Manager, and a range of external partners to develop new funding mechanisms and facilitate delivery of nature recovery schemes at scale across Hertfordshire & Middlesex.

The role will also work closely with the Trust’s Nature Reserves Manager to ensure a coordinated and strategic approach to our nature recovery work, both on our reserves and in the wider urban and rural landscape.

Job Purpose

Grandmentors Wolverhampton is a well-established and successful project that has been connecting mature volunteers with care experienced young people since 2019. As Project Coordinator, you will lead the core programme while heading up our brand new ‘Through the Gates’ pilot, which provides vital support for young people transitioning from custody back into the community. Your role is to foster high impact mentoring relationships while ensuring clear professional boundaries are maintained, complementing the work of our statutory partners in the Local Authority.

Key Responsibilities:

· Project Coordination: Lead the day-to-day delivery of Grandmentors in Wolverhampton, ensuring the project meets match targets for both the core service and the new pilot.

· Volunteer Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise a dedicated team of mentors, ensuring they feel supported and understand how their role fits alongside other professional services.

· Boundary Management: Act as the key link to statutory leads, such as Social Workers or Personal Advisors, ensuring support remains mentor-led and escalating any professional concerns appropriately.

· Partnership Working: Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with the Local Authority and other relevant partners.

· Safety & Compliance: Oversee risk assessments and strictly follow safeguarding procedures to ensure the safety of our volunteers and the young people we support.

· Impact Reporting: Use our CRM system to track progress and collate data for annual reports and meetings that demonstrate the project’s impact to our stakeholders.

As the Team Leader - Witness Service (Court-Based), you will support the delivery of a high quality, safe, and consistent service for all witnesses attending court. You will:

The Witness Service provides free, independent support to any witness giving evidence in criminal courts in England and Wales - both for the prosecution and the defense.  Our trained staff and volunteers help people understand what to expect before, during and after a trial, and offer practical and emotional support every step of the way, so witnesses can give their best evidence.  The Witness Service also supports bereaved family members, friends and family who are accompanying witnesses in court.

About the Role

As an Operations Manager you will oversee the successful running of the West Yorkshire contract ensuring that we are meeting our contractual requirements and continually improving.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the delivery of excellent services for victims of crime promoting a clear person centred and trauma informed approach
• Ensuring compliance against key performance indicators, contractual and internal requirements

About You

Ideally, you will have experience of managing teams, have an understanding of the criminal justice system and of working within the voluntary sector. You will be a compassionate individual with a passion for developing service for victims of crime. You will be able to motivate and manage teams and have an innovative outlook towards development.

You will need:

• Experience and knowledge of voluntary and statutory agencies, particularly in the criminal justice, health and social care sector
• Successfully managed diverse teams, utilising different working method to achieve high performance
• Experience of leadership and management and implementation of change management processes
• Ability to effectively manage demanding and competing work priorities, achieving successful results across team and service
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with partner agencies and stakeholders to improve service

About the Role

As an Operations Manager you will oversee the successful running of the Humberside contract ensuring that we are meeting our contractual requirements and continually improving.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the delivery of excellent services for victims of crime promoting a clear person centred and trauma informed approach
• Ensuring compliance against key performance indicators, contractual and internal requirements
• Responsibility for the line management of team members including recruitment, training and development, supervision and support
• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders across Victim Support
• Undertake data analysis, service audit and report presentation to improve service and showcase best practice
• Attend regular contract monitoring meetings and represent the service at external events
• Ensure compliance with policy, procedure and legislation including in relation to data, safeguarding and confidentiality
• Support the Area Manager to identify development opportunities and innovate within the service

About You:

Ideally, you will have experience of managing teams, have an understanding of the criminal justice system and of working within the voluntary sector. You will be a compassionate individual with a passion for developing service for victims of crime. You will be able to motivate and manage teams and have an innovative outlook towards development.

You will need:

• Experience and knowledge of voluntary and statutory agencies, particularly in the criminal justice, health and social care sector
• Successfully managed diverse teams, utilising different working method to achieve high performance
• Experience of leadership and management and implementation of change management processes
• Ability to effectively manage demanding and competing work priorities, achieving successful results across team and service
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with partner agencies and stakeholders to improve service

This role involves regular travel and due to the location, a driving license and access to a vehicle is considered an essential requirement. Job Profile

CAFOD works with the Catholic community in England and Wales to tackle poverty and injustice.

As a Community Participation Coordinator (Education Focus), you’ll grow engagement across Catholic schools, parishes and communities in the Birmingham and Portsmouth dioceses. You’ll inspire people to give, act and pray, while recruiting and supporting volunteers and building strong relationships with clergy, school leaders and diocesan partners.

Working within CAFOD’s national Education Team, you’ll collaborate locally to increase school participation and strengthen volunteer networks. This role is primarily school-focused, with occasional parish engagement.

This is a home-based role that requires regular travel across the dioceses and occasional visits to CAFOD’s London office. Flexibility is key, with some evening or weekend work and occasional transport of resources (expenses and time off in lieu provided).

Role Responsibilities

Delivering participation plans

• Share accountability for delivery of annual participation plans for the region (a group of dioceses) with a primary focus on one diocese or area, and share in the delivery of fundraising, education, campaigns and media objectives and targets, as delineated by the participation plan for the region. This role will have a focus on schools’ engagement.
• Contribute to the development of activities to achieve objectives in support of and appropriate for local contexts. Through increased numbers and activity of school volunteers, more Catholic schools will be visited by a CAFOD volunteer.
• Maintain regular outreach, promotion and relationship-building with volunteers and key leaders in parish and school communities and Catholic church and education networks.

Managing volunteers

• Be the lead volunteer manager for an identified portfolio of volunteer roles locally and ensure effective coordination and communication.
• Match the offers, skills, experiences and expectations of volunteers with opportunities and needs in relation to CAFOD’s plans for schools.
• Organise and promote volunteer meetings and training opportunities online/offline to either to deliver themselves or by another member of the Education Section.

Managing relationships and promotion

• Represent CAFOD in the diocese and ensure CAFOD retains a diverse range of relationships including with priests, school staff, academy trusts and others within a diocese. 
• Ensure CAFOD is promoted via various diocesan communication channels, working with diocesan communications officers and school communities.

Job-specific competencies

I. A demonstrable commitment to volunteering and understanding of its potential as a force for change.

II. Experience of managing multiple relationships with volunteers and a wide variety of volunteers, including recruitment and retention, and managing volunteer performance.

III. Willingness and ability to travel extensively to all parts of the area covered and to travel to other parts of the region/country as needed. At times, it will be necessary to transport equipment and resources and to be flexible to work evenings and weekends.

IV. A proven ability to work within the Catholic education setting.

Due to service development, we have a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Volunteer and Participation Co-ordinator to join Barnardo's as part of the East Berkshire Keyworking Service for Children and Young People with Learning Disability and/or Autism. We currently have one full time post available on a permanent contract. Empower a caseload of service users to manage their health and wellbeing. As part of a team, you will support a staffing rota offering support to service users between the hours of 8am-10pm Mon-Sun each week. In collaboration with your team, you will actively monitor wellbeing, mental health, housing and living environment to ensure service users journey into independence. Moreover, you will take a solution focused and co-produced approach to supporting service users with their move-on into independent living.
