Role Overview
Reporting to the Trusts Manager, the postholder will be responsible for maximizing income from Charitable Trusts and Foundations, building and nurturing elationships and inspiring long-term support and sustainable income in line with the organisational strategy.
About You
This is a great role for someone with previous experience of Trust Fundraising. You’ll have first class communication skills to enable you to quickly build solid, strong relationships both face to face and over the telephone. Excellent writing skills are essential as well as good organisational skills and CRM experience. In these challenging times you’ll need to channel your creative skills to develop exciting stewardship plans.
In this role you will need:
· Previous experience of Trust Fundraising with a strong track record of success and meeting targets
· Excellent writing skills, with the ability to take complex material and translate into visually appealing proposals.
· Experience of organising or helping to organise stewardship events.
· Experience of working with CRM databases.
· Target driven with experience of budgeting and financial management

Our Location
We are based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, so we are easily accessible by road and rail. In this role, there is plenty of scope for working from home, although there will be times when you will need to be at face-to-face meetings. There is a requirement for you to attend a minimum of 12 in person days a year, including two Directorate meetings and the charity’s mandatory ‘All Staff Together’ days which take place four times a year at our offices in Hatfield or a location in London. In addition there will be a requirement to attend team and donor meetings in person as required.

Prison Fellowship (PF) is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Head of Volunteer & Church Engagement to lead and develop our work with volunteers and churches across England and Wales.

A key element of the role is church engagement. You will develop and lead PF’s church engagement strategy, building and sustaining strong relationships with churches across denominations. You will represent PF at churches, events and festivals, and work with the Chief Executive to cultivate relationships with senior and denominational church leaders.
About you
The successful candidate will have experience in volunteer management and leadership development, strong communication and public-speaking skills, and a good understanding of the UK Church. You will be a collaborative and resilient leader, able to think strategically while delivering operationally. STOP THE TRAFFIK prevents vulnerable communities from being recruited, trafficked, and exploited. Our targeted prevention work disrupts the criminal business of human trafficking, making it too high-risk and low-profit to be viable.
The Fundraising Officer sits within our Development & Communications Team and will support on growing and delivering our fundraising and partnership pipeline. The Fundraising Officer will lead on donor administration, support the preparation of applications to trusts and foundations, contribute to individual giving initiatives, and help build philanthropic and corporate partnerships.
This is a varied role for someone who is a strong writer, both persuasive and strategic, and who is motivated to connect STOP THE TRAFFIK’s mission with funders and partners who share our vision and act as long-term investors in prevention.
This role will be responsible for:
Funding Development & Applications

Main Duties and Responsibilities
For the Dean
- Manage the Dean’s diary: including making appointments, arranging meetings, scheduling preaching and other liturgical arrangements, programming annual schedules (such as Bishops Staff Meetings, chaplaincy and wider public commitments) - keeping Outlook diaries up to date with any changes and making travel arrangements;
- Prepare the Dean’s weekly diary file, including the preparation of any meeting papers or briefs for the week ahead;
- Provide administrative support for the Dean in relation to their attendance at meetings associated with the governance of the Cathedral, including Chapter, Finance Committee, Fabric Advisory Committee and Board of Enterprises. - Draft, file and send outgoing correspondence on the Dean’s behalf and process incoming correspondence;
- Support the Dean in all their working relationships including building and maintaining excellent relationships with Chapter Members and Committee Members, the Bishop’s staff and with the wider Diocese, as well as with congregation members, neighbours, commercial partners, professional advisers and other third-party organisations relating to the Dean’s work;
- Set up meetings including room set up and refreshment provision as required;

- Work with the Governance & Committees Manager on Gifts Registry declarations for the Dean;

- Ensuring that the staff keep offices, reception area, print room, stationery area, staff kitchen and facilities clean, tidy and supplied;
- Co-ordinating Staff Meetings, including booking suitable space and organising refreshments for the meeting;
- Organising staff social events, outings and meals;
- Providing administrative support on Cathedral projects as and when they arise.
- Ensuring the Cathedral’s First-Aid kits are kept supplied and in date.

OVERALL PURPOSE OF POST:
To provide professional, proactive and comprehensive Payroll services for management in the support of over 300 staff. The role will focus on all payroll related activities for Care Staff across all areas of the organisation.
In addition, the post will provide any required by the Payroll Manager in relation to any other payroll tasks across TuVida.
To also oversee the administration of funds spent by departments to ensure all spend is withing policy, approved and backing receipts / invoices received.
The role also support the day-to-day finance administration of supplier invoices, supplier payments and reconciliations.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Timely completion of all administrative activities to support the payroll process including collating and reviewing payroll information in line with the necessary time line, preparing the payroll file for signature and audit purposes, submitting the payroll file for payment processing and responding to any queries received from care staff.

Manage the distribution of payslips ensuring data compliance is met.

Accurately maintain employee data in all systems including Sage Payroll, Webroster and the National Minimum Data Set.

Produce all regular weekly and monthly reports and ad-hoc request to support the Operational Teams and Senior Leadership Team.

Support the annual leave for care staff including the calculation of entitlement each year.

Undertake electronic filling, photocopying and general administrative duties as required in the support of payroll.

Set up new starters in payroll ensuring all necessary paperwork is received

Support Care Staff induction process regarding payroll matters

Process leavers through payroll including final payments and holiday adjustments

Ensure that sickness is paid in accordance with current regulations and company policies

Manage the Soldo account ensuring account holders receive the funds needed once approved.

Ensure all spend on Soldo, Credit Cards and Petty Cash is reconciled each month with backing of all spend. Includes preparation of required Sage Accounts posting.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Our client is looking for an experienced and politically astute Head of Public Affairs, Media and Digital Communications to help shape their work, influence decision‑makers and strengthen the voice of working people across Wales.
Do you have experience in working in or with trade unions, political institutions, political parties or public affairs organisations, with a strong understanding of how political decisions are made?
Can you lead and develop a communications team, delivering high‑quality, timely and strategic outputs across press, digital and social media?

In recent years OTR has seen a significant increase in demand for our youth mental health services and we now reach over 17,000 young people each year. We are seeking a Head of Finance to oversee our (circa) £3m annual budget and to ensure that our finance operation is efficient and effective. This role will lead OTR’s finance function and, as well as having responsibility for day-to-day financial processes, will be a key member of the organisation’s senior leadership team (SLT). The role will involve providing financial insight to the SLT and Board of Trustees to improve understanding and inform strategic decision making. Examples of this will include analysing the financial performance of different activities of the organisation and preparing budget and forecast information.

ABOUT US
Not all young people have the same opportunities in life. Caudwell Youth exists to level the playing field for young people at risk. We support young people up to 25 years, who face real challenges in their lives. They may experience mental health challenges, be leaving care or be at risk of exploitation or offending.
We provide person centred support through volunteer-led mentoring for up to 18-months, alongside a targeted intervention programme called Shaping Futures for high-risk young people. Founded by the philanthropist John Caudwell in 2022, we now support young people across Milton Keynes, Hertfordshire, Slough, Buckinghamshire, and Luton.
Over our first 3 years as a charity, our work has consistently achieved exceptional outcomes for at-risk young people. 95% reduced offending behaviour, 64% reduced their exploitation risk, 83% reported improvements in their mental health and 45% had moved into education, employment or training. When a young person makes progress, families and communities benefit too. In fact, economic analysis shows that for every £1 invested in our programme, we save the public purse £6.05.
Unfortunately, demand for our service far outstrips supply, meaning we have often had to close our waiting lists. Whilst the risks and challenges young people face continue to grow. We currently support around 400 young people. The driving ambition behind our forthcoming strategy is to reach more.
To achieve this we are setting out to develop and expand our programmes. To become a national charity. We will do this working with at-risk young people, empowering them in everything we do. Our ambition to support more at-risk young people is shared with them.

Purpose of Role:
Provide strategic leadership on all Caudwell Youth’s external communications, ensuring they are effective in driving engagement and delivering our strategic goals.
Responsible as part of the Senior Leadership Team for the overall leadership of Caudwell Youth. Promoting the mission, vision and values of the charity, and the development and implementation of our strategic plan.
Key Duties:
Corporate leadership
- As part of the Senior Leadership Team work with the Board of Trustees to: develop and progress the organisation’s strategy, set and manage the organisation’s budget and ensure risks are managed effectively

Commnications
