This is a practical, hands-on leadership role at the heart of Richmond CVS’s work with local charities and community groups. The postholder will lead our support to voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations across the borough – helping them to grow stronger and more sustainable.
The main focus of the role is to strengthen the fundraising skills and income generation of local organisations, alongside providing high-quality advice on governance, planning and strategy. The role requires curiosity, creativity and strong problem-solving skills to help organisations find practical solutions to real-world challenges.
Richmond CVS already works with a range of experienced consultants and trainers and has an established suite of training resources. The postholder is not expected to be an expert in every aspect of charity management. A key part of the role is to coordinate and facilitate this support, drawing on specialist expertise where needed, while providing direct advice particularly in relation to fundraising and the fundamentals of good governance.
Working with a small, passionate team, you will deliver support, facilitate learning and manage projects that make a real difference to grassroots groups.
Key Responsibilities
Organisational Support
· Provide practical tailored advice and support to VCSE organisations on governance, fundraising, income generation, and strategic planning.
· Help groups to identify funding opportunities and develop strong, realistic funding applications

Job summary
We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to join our team to create, deliver and analyse integrated marketing plans that utilise the full marketing mix to extend the reach and maximize the sales of BookTrust’s traded reading programmes to schools.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for using data and insight to develop and deliver marketing activity to support a wide range of BookTrust campaigns, events and initiatives to meet our ambitious targets. You’ll establish an ongoing evaluation process and utilise sector and customer insight to continually improve our marketing.
Experience of working across multiple campaigns in an agile way and prioritising your workload effectively is essential.
The ideal candidate will have a breadth of marketing skills and experience and a proactive and collaborative approach to working with colleagues across the charity to deliver marketing campaigns and activity to a consistently high standard.
The successful candidate must have at least three years of marketing experience, have previously worked in a B2B, traded and/or commercial marketing role at a similar level including people management experience.

Role Summary:
The Smile Trian UK Senior Manager, Individual Giving leads on the development and delivery of the individual donor offline fundraising program, responsible for the acquisition, retention, upgrade and reactivation of individual donors through various channels including Direct Mail, DRTV, Telemarketing and SMS and Print. General Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the UK Director of Fundraising in the development of the offline Individual Giving Strategy and other key initiatives and keep them updated and fully briefed regarding their implementation
- Line-manage the Database Manager and Supporter Experience Officer
- Develop engaging donor acquisition and retention campaigns
- Utilise data to inform and strategically target key donor segments

Direct Mail

- Conduct testing to optimise creative and evaluate results to make data-driven decisions for future mail concepts
- Manage direct mail creative development, ensure brand compliance and provide directive on content/messaging
- Participate in weekly production call with creative and production agencies to review status of deliverables for all campaigns
DRTV
- Execute all aspects of Direct Response Television (DRTV) donor acquisition program, including:

About the Role
We are currently seeking a Trust Fundraising Support Officer to join our growing fundraising team. 2025 was our best year yet for income and this role is pivotal in helping us to take the next step in further growing our income.
This new role will play a key part in delivering funding from Trusts, Foundations and other Funders across the UK, supporting the Senior Trust Fundraising Officer to maximise our income. You will be responsible for making small-scale grant applications, and for growing our grants portfolio through identifying new funding opportunities.

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Build up a strong pipeline of prospective Funders by researching Trusts that align with Epilepsy Action’s vision and strategy.
- Secure income from small-scale charitable Trusts, Foundations, and other Grant Makers to meet individual and team targets.
- Ensure timely thanking, updates and reporting for all Grants and Donations from our rolling programme of applications.
- Use data in the CRM to analyse trends and identify opportunities.
At Epilepsy Action, we recognise the power of collaboration and teamwork, so our team members with hybrid contracts can expect to work a minimum of 40% at our office in Leeds. On average this is 2 days a week, normally on Mondays and Thursdays, for full-time employees. As Development Coordinator, you will support the Senior Development Manager and Director to achieve our ambitious fundraising strategy. You will be a pivotal member of the team, undertaking tasks across administration, research, project and events management, and high-level writing.
Your main accountabilities will include:

We want to create a world filled with wildlife, and we do this through pioneering community engagement and Rewilding Our Future. For us, rewilding is about rewilding people as well as rewilding nature, reconnecting communities to the natural world and restoring functional ecosystems through habitat restoration and species reintroductions.
From our work to reintroduce beavers to London for the first time in 400 years, to restoring river catchments with water voles, we focus on interventions that create real ecological change on the ground. The need
To grow Citizen Zoo sustainably, we need to grow our secure unrestricted income. The Team & The Role
We’re a not-for-profit social enterprise with a team who mostly work from home in London. You’ll work as part of this remote team from home, our shared desk spaces in central London, and out on the ground at events, partner venues and project sites across the city and beyond. You’ll work closely with delivery and communications colleagues to turn audiences (visitors, volunteers, event attendees, online supporters) into loyal members, and ensure members receive a positive, joined-up experience that retains them long term.
What you’ll do
You will own and deliver a data-led membership growth plan that increases acquisition, improves retention, and grows member value (including upgrades from £3 → £5/month over time). You’ll sharpen Citizen Zoo’s membership proposition so it clearly connects supporters to our impact, and you’ll turn that into campaigns and activity that consistently convert interest into monthly direct debits.
Digitally, you’ll create and optimise the online join journey (landing pages, forms and messaging) and run recruitment activity across email and social. You’ll work with agency partners to plan and launch Meta and/or Google campaigns, shape and iterate creative, manage a monthly marketing budget, and improve cost-per-join and conversion rates through ongoing performance monitoring.
For retention, you’ll build joined-up supporter journeys from welcome/onboarding through impact updates, renewal/retention thorough engagement and exclusive membership offerings, upgrade prompts and lapsed reactivation. You’ll use segmentation and insight to keep communications relevant, strengthen the member experience, and reduce churn.
On the ground, you’ll lead in-person recruitment across Greater London at events, fairs, community days and partner sites, setting up an effective stand, engaging the public, and signing people up to direct debit. You’ll keep improving the recruitment “kit” (scripts, FAQs, signage, QR codes and follow-up journeys) and coordinate volunteer/colleague support when needed.
Ideal candidates will also focus on lifetime value (LTV) of supporting members and as such be able to work towards an appropriate cost-per-acquisition target (CPA).
Minimum requirements
- Full UK driving licence (hard requirement), candidates will not be considered without one (please ensure you list this on your CV).
- Demonstrable experience growing income or supporters through membership, regular giving, direct marketing, subscriptions, fundraising, or performance marketing.

Working Hours
At Citizen Zoo we have standard working hours from 09:00–17:30, but team members can start earlier or later if agreed with your line manager. This role will require occasional evening and weekend work, particularly around events and recruitment opportunities, and this is given back as time off in lieu.

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, whose mission is to build confidence, companionship and connection for people with hearing loss, is seeking a Head of Acquisition to lead and grow recruitment across individual giving, legacy and regular giving channels, as well as attracting new volunteers and service users.
Hearing Dogs for Deaf People has been creating life-changing partnerships between hearing dogs and deaf recipients since 1982. As well as acting as an ear to their partners and alerting them to sounds, the charity’s clever and expertly trained dogs help deaf people to live life with confidence and independence, whilst providing love, companionship and emotional support. This is coupled with the provision of emotional and practical support services for anyone with hearing loss.
Following a strategic review, the charity is now entering an exciting period of growth and expanding their Individual Giving programme within the Performance Marketing and Communications Directorate, to enable them to transform many more lives across the UK.
Playing a pivotal role in this transformation, the Head of Acquisition will drive sustainable income growth through innovative, data-driven acquisition campaigns targeting new supporters, donors, lottery players and legacy pledgers that deepen engagement and bring the charity’s brand story to life. The role will ensure that every acquisition activity clearly communicates the impact of Hearing Dogs’ work, connecting supporter action to life-changing outcomes for people who are deaf or have hearing loss. At the same time, the post-holder will be responsible for championing strategies to reach more people who can volunteer for, and benefit from, the charity’s vital services.
The ideal candidate will be a leader in supporter or customer acquisition in a not for profit or commercial environment, with a strong track record in delivering successful campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, face-to-face, direct marketing and fundraising products (eg lottery, legacy and regular giving). You will have experience in developing strategic investment cases and multi-year acquisition strategies, grounded in data insight and performance engagement. You will have also have a background in brand-led campaigns and communicating organisational impact to engage and convert audiences. Finally, you will have excellent communication and relationship management skills.
