Work Pattern: Full Time (35 hours per week)

Location: Hybrid working (3 days in office Aylesbury, Bucks)

Salary: £35,000-£39,000

Are you a creative, data-driven marketer who wants to make a lasting difference?

Calibre Audio is looking for an ambitious Marketing & Communications Manager to grow our reach, strengthen our brand and help more people discover the life-changing power of audiobooks.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead multi-channel marketing and communications campaigns that drive awareness, membership growth and supporter engagement. You'll combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, using insight and innovation to expand our audience, improve supporter journeys and position Calibre Audio as the UK's leading audiobook charity.

What you'll do

  • Develop and deliver integrated marketing and communications strategies that support organisational growth.
  • Lead impactful campaigns across digital, social, email, paid media and partnerships to attract, engage and retain audiences.
  • Grow Calibre Audio's brand awareness and social media presence.
  • Manage and optimise digital performance, including Google Ad Grants, paid advertising and conversion activity.
  • Use data, testing and insights to improve campaign effectiveness and reduce acquisition costs.
  • Enhance member and supporter journeys, increasing engagement, satisfaction and retention.
  • Oversee accessible communications, content and email marketing programmes.
  • Develop ambassador and advocacy initiatives that bring member stories to life.
  • Work collaboratively across teams to align marketing activity with fundraising and organisational goals.
  • Provide insight, reporting and recommendations to senior leadership.

About you

You'll be a confident and proactive marketing professional with experience delivering successful multi-channel campaigns and using data to drive results. You will bring:

  • Proven marketing and communications experience, ideally within the charity sector.
  • Strong digital marketing skills across social media, email and paid channels.
  • Excellent communication, planning and project management abilities.
  • Experience managing budgets and measuring return on investment.
  • Knowledge of marketing platforms, CRM systems and analytics tools.
  • A passion for accessibility, inclusion and creating meaningful audience experiences.
