The Role

You will design and deliver a new income generation strategy that unlocks growth across:

· Corporate partnerships

· Major donors and philanthropy

· Community, individual and digital giving

· Earned and paid‑for services

· Grants, trusts and public sector funding (as part of a balanced mix)

· Recurring /regular donations from committed individuals

You will take an “intrapreneurial” approach — spotting opportunity, building new propositions, testing ideas and learning quickly — while embedding a culture where income generation is seen as a shared organisational priority, not the responsibility of one team.

Essential Experience & Track Record

• A demonstrable track record of generating income and/or building sustainable revenue streams, across more than one income source.
• Evidence of developing and delivering an income or growth strategy, particularly in contexts requiring diversification or change.
• Experience of driving new opportunities — such as partnerships, products, services or supporter propositions — rather than only maintaining existing income.
• Proven success in building and stewarding senior relationships, including corporates, funders, donors, commissioners or strategic partners.
• Experience working at a senior level within an organisation, with exposure to executive decision‑making and governance (e.g. Board or Trustee engagement).

· Understanding of and commitment to adhering to fundraising policies, ethical standards, and relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g. Fundraising Regulator Code of Practice, GDPR).

· Experience in minor/major donor fundraising and/or corporate partnerships.

· Familiarity with the autism or disability sector.

The Deputy Director (Operations & Finance) is a new position in the organisation that will lead the day-to-day running of the organisation, bringing together operations, HR, governance, finance oversight and property management under clear, reliable leadership. You’ll be responsible for the development and implementation of complex fundraising campaigns, designed to inspire new and existing supporters to give one off gifts through a range of channels and products, from email and mailing appeals to digital ads and merchandise.

Job requirements

In a typical week you could:

• Draft a multi-channel engagement plan and supporter journey for an upcoming campaign that inspires new and existing supporters to donate one-off gifts
• Write, build, send a fundraising email reacting to a current event - reviewing the great performance and then influencing colleagues to make space to prioritise a reminder email next week.
• Brief a designer on the creation of a new t-shirt, and a content creator to generate ideas on ways to promote it to our target audience
• Collaborate with our Data, Insights and Web team to review the tests we plan to run in the next quarter, building in new ideas you generate together into our Direct Marketing and Email testing roadmap.
• Lead on a mailing project that spans multiple teams, liaising with our print partner and fulfilment house to deliver to print deadlines and manage the follow up communications to thank donors.
• Actively championing anti-racist values – tailoring your approach to those with different perspectives, and helping Greenpeace to reach a broader more diverse audience.

About you

You will love autonomy and will enjoy working collaboratively across the fundraising department and wider organisation. You’ll already have plenty of marketing experience to bring, and you’ll be able to take a strategic approach to delivery, independently taking on a key area of the direct marketing programme. You’ll be fully responsible for the assessment of the fundraising campaigns that you lead, and you’ll be focused on optimising performance to deliver income to power our fundraising and our campaigns.

• Organisation and prioritisation - Proven ability to manage competing demands across multiple projects with limited capacity, including how they make and communicate prioritisation decisions and see tasks through to a clear outcome.
• Collaborative and uses influence - Able to demonstrate a time they have successfully brought others round to their point of view, showing skills in persuasion, clear communication, and navigating different perspectives constructively.

We need someone with previous experience in relationship management and income generation - ideally within a legacy and/or in memory setting - who is able to lead and inspire our supporters and staff in order to generate long term income and awareness for the charity.

• Lead the development and delivery of legacy marketing and in-memory fundraising strategies to drive sustained income growth and supporter retention
• Be self-motivated, independent and target-driven

As the Community & Campaigns Organiser, it is your role to support the growth, planning and delivery of KCLSU campaigning and organising activity. We now have an exciting opportunity to recruit the new role of Landscapes Recovery Manager to help drive our nature recovery work in the wider urban and rural landscapes of Hertfordshire and Middlesex, in collaboration with a range of external partners and stakeholders.

You’ll be leading the Trust’s Landscapes Recovery team within the Nature Recovery Directorate, reporting to the Director of Nature Recovery.

We are looking for someone with extensive land advice and ecological experience, together with an entrepreneurial spirit. About the role

This role will lead and manage the Trust’s Landscapes Recovery team, including leading and developing the Trust’s land management advisory work to support landowners and landholders to contribute to nature’s recovery. 

The postholder will work alongside the Rivers Recovery Manager, and a range of external partners to develop new funding mechanisms and facilitate delivery of nature recovery schemes at scale across Hertfordshire & Middlesex.

The role will also work closely with the Trust’s Nature Reserves Manager to ensure a coordinated and strategic approach to our nature recovery work, both on our reserves and in the wider urban and rural landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of trusts and foundations, including small to mid-value donors and opportunities for high-value asks.

• Confident communication skills, comfortable discussing and securing both straightforward and speculative funding asks.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple relationships and deadlines efficiently.
• Ability to analyse data and use insights to inform strategy and optimise outcomes.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to developing organisational relationships.
• Knowledge of the charity sector and familiarity with campaign-based fundraising strategies.
