The New Business Manager plays a pivotal role in the success of the Fundraising and Communications Directorate, and London Youth as a whole. In line with our fundraising strategy, you will be responsible for securing five and six-figure corporate partnerships, achieving ambitious personal targets, and contributing to our overall fundraising target of £6.9m in 2026. Your focus will be on high-value long-term strategic relationships with businesses generating both restricted and unrestricted fundas, as well as other non-financial benefits.
What you will be doing
- Prospect new corporate partners that align with our mission, vision, and objectives.
- Secure partnerships that deliver against our restricted and unrestricted financial needs.
- Build a personal pipeline of prospects at the five and six-figure level and move them through the funnel to hit monthly and annual targets and KPIs.
- Collaborate with colleagues at all levels to develop dynamic, compelling, and winning proposals that meet the highest of professional standards.
- Work closely with the senior team, board, and Fundraising Development Board to leverage connections and facilitate introductions to prospects.
- Ensure first class stewardship of prospective partners to develop and deliver high-value long-term relationships.
- Collaborate with and support the Head of Corporate Partnerships and the Senior Account Manager to ensure success across the wider corporate partnerships team.
- Support on the development and delivery of team and organisational events, such as site visits and the London Youth Awards.
- Ensure all information is recorded in an accurate and timely manner across all relevant systems and in line with all relevant processes and procedures, including Salesforce and Sharepoint, research templates, due diligence grids, contracts, and finance.
- Utilise data to analyse performance, make informed decisions, and report in an accurate and timely manner to relevant stakeholders.
- Contribute to the organisation and team's annual plans, strategies, budget planning, and reforecasts as appropriate.
- Build your knowledge and understanding of corporate fundraising, the corporate sector, and the charity sector, to ensure you can position yourself as an expert and make informed decisions in your work.
- Understand, support and communicate the vision, mission, and aims of London Youth, and the needs of young people and youth organisations.
- Reflect our inclusive culture in your day-to-day work and support a positive health & safety and safeguarding culture in your interactions with colleagues, young people, and youth organisations.

What you bring to the role
Knowledge and Experience:
- Proven track record of securing at least five figure partnerships in the charity sector or private sector, with an understanding of how to unlock six figure sums.
- Ability to research, identify, and secure both unrestricted and restricted income.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience of developing compelling proposals and collateral - experience using Canva is a plus - and pitching.
- Excellent relationship building and stewardship skills with ability to represent London Youth to a variety of stakeholders, including C-Suite level.
- First-class knowledge of the corporate fundraising landscape and the wider charity sector, including the ability to spot trends and implement best practices.
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritise a busy workload.
- Ability to collaborate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to produce accurate work of the highest possible standard.
- Ability to get involved in various aspects of fundraising delivery if/when needed in support of colleagues.
- Creative mindset to find new ways to engage and partner with corporates to raise funds for London Youth.

We’re looking for a skilled and values-driven Training Manager to design and deliver an accredited development programme supporting ex-service users to progress into Refuge Case Worker roles.
You’ll lead a 3-month accredited training programme followed by 6 months of supported, on-the-job development, with two cohorts each year over a three-year funded period. As part of our dedicated Domestic Abuse Service, you’ll focus on three main areas:
Supporting male survivors at standard and medium risk
- Provide one-to-one, trauma-informed support to men affected by domestic abuse.
- Complete risk assessments, safety plans and ongoing recovery-focused support.
- Help survivors build confidence, make safe choices and achieve long-term positive change.
Survivor support alongside the Your Choice Project (YCP)
- Work in line with Respect Standards, which ensure that survivors are supported while their partner or ex-partner attends the YCP behaviour change programme.
- Deliver specialist parallel support to male survivors, ensuring their voice, safety and wellbeing remain central.
- Collaborate closely with YCP colleagues to provide a balanced, holistic approach to safety and recovery.
Community outreach and awareness-raising
- Attend and run events across Nottinghamshire to connect directly with male survivors and the professionals who may encounter them.
- Deliver training and briefings to raise awareness of male survivors’ experiences and increase professional confidence in responding to them.
- Contribute to the development of innovative outreach strategies that challenge stigma and make services more visible and accessible to men.

About the Role
We're hiring a Recovery Worker to join the team in Croydon which is a 24/7 accommodation service which provides high support to females with forensic mental health needs, complex needs and dual diagnosis. In this role, you will be at the forefront of providing person centred support, to help our residents overcome personal challenges, and meet their desired goals/outcomes. You will do this through various support plans and interventions, running and participation of activities, and working alongside various internal and external partners.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Being the main support worker for a group of residents, helping to create and update their support and risk plans.
- Plan, run and engage in activities such as games, celebrations, and movies or out of service activities such as planned days out to encourage social interaction while confidently lone working and managing the service.
- Help residents understand their rights, build confidence and become more independent as they return to the community.
- Notice when someone’s mental health is getting worse and take action to stop things from reaching a crisis.
- Follow safeguarding procedures and report any concerns when needed.
- Support residents with taking their medication and keep accurate records. Build good working relationships with colleagues and outside agencies.

We are seeking an experienced and diligent HR Administrator to provide HR admin support to the organisation. You will be responsible for all HR administration, including the production of HR paperwork, and serve as the day-to-day generalist HR contact for all employees. We do not currently have HR software, so reviewing our requirements in this area would be one of your responsibilities.
This is part-time fixed-term position, as we review the organisation’s needs in this area, and will be subject to review and possible extension at the end of six months.
As a small charity (c. 35 staff including part-time and casual workers), the role will require balancing practical tasks with more senior HR responsibilities. You'll be based in the office (a lovely rural setting near Twyford, Reading) for at least two days per week and, being situated within the rehabilitation centre, you will have daily contact with those men whom you are helping. They inspire and motivate us just as much as we seek to encourage and support them.

Community of St Paulinus, Sheffield Cathedral
We are seeking a creative, relational and passionate Children’s and Families’ Worker to join our newly forming team, working at the heart of the Cathedral’s life and mission with children, families and local communities.
Based at the Cathedral, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering engaging children’s work, including Sunday provision, early years activities, and creative opportunities that help children grow in their Christian faith and feel at home within the worshipping life of the Cathedral. You will recruit, support and develop volunteer teams, work closely with Cathedral colleagues, and help create welcoming spaces where children and families can explore faith together.
You will also contribute to the wider mission of the Cathedral through the Community of St Paulinus, supporting the development of new worshipping communities for young children and their families, and working in partnership with local churches and the Centenary Project Network.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Buckinghamshire Service for you to join a dynamic team committed to supporting children and young people who have been affected by someone else’s drug and/or alcohol use. The role of a Children and family Worker will support children and young people under the age of 18 on a one-to-one basis in a confidential space. The role will deliver a wide range of interventions/ education though activities, such as games, arts and crafts and emotional wellbeing resources. The role will utilise a young person-centred approach, empowering them to explore situations which they feel they have little control over to support them to lead a safe, happy, and healthy life.
The role will work in partnership and liaise with other young people services throughout Buckinghamshire, to provide holistic support to young people accessing the service. We need to record information about what we do, so enjoying a bit of admin work and attention to detail is important, but most of the time you’ll be enjoying working with young people from all backgrounds, making a difference to their lives. You will be required to work flexibly across operational sites as required so must hold a full UK driving license and have access to a car. Don’t worry, there is a wide array of training and development opportunities to help support you in your work.

Responsibilities
About the role:
- To holistically support CYP affected by parental substance misuse, using a range of interventions including group work, 1:1 work, whole family interventions, safety planning and safeguarding working closely and proactively with the family unit to support positive and sustainable outcomes.
- Identify families in conjunction with other agencies, who will benefit from a Think Family / Whole family approach, negotiating participation and engagement with the programme of care.
- Identifying and responding effectively to potential safeguarding issues.
- Reducing drug and alcohol related harm to young people and the wider community.
- Working with young people to support positive, holistic outcomes in relation to their health and wellbeing, enabling them to lead safe, healthy, and purposeful lives: reducing risk and increasing resilience
- Working flexibly across sites where required
About you:
- Experience of working with young people and knowledge of the issues they face
- Knowledge of safeguarding concerns in relation to children and young people and the Fraser Competence framework
- Have an excellent understanding of drug and alcohol issues and experience of working within a related field
- Knowledge of working with evidence-based practice around young people’s substance misuse treatment services and methods, including relevant best practice guidance
- An accomplished communicator, both verbal and written with a high degree of personal IT competency
- Be able to accurately update and maintain records and to work to deadlines for the submission of information, e.g., reports
- Have excellent team working and interpersonal skills, maintaining a highly cooperative approach to supporting colleagues in delivering service objectives

This new service will provide a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for women facing sexual exploitation and substance dependency – a place they can truly call home. Through stable, person-centred care, you'll play a vital role in empowering women to rebuild their lives and embrace brighter futures.
In this role, as a Night Support Mentor, you will work within a 24 hour service which provided person centred support to our residents, working to ensure the safety and wellbeing. Our residents have experienced multiple forms of exclusion, such as historical/ongoing abuse, involvement in the criminal justice system, mental health challenges, drug and/or alcohol dependency and enduring high levels of violence and coercion. You will build trusting professional relationships with residents, helping them to achieve their goals and aspirations which could be through tailored one to one sessions, group sessions, in and out of service activities, and general wellbeing check ins. Your role will focus on empowering our residents to take control over their lives and meet their personal goals
Responsibilities include:
- Holding a caseload, conducting key work sessions which are personable to resident needs
- Carry out regular welfare checks, safeguarding checks, and general living checks
- Encourage residents to take part in activities and events both within the service and the community
- Keep support plans up to date on a regular basis
- Work closely with the rest of the team to provide overall excellent service delivery, this may mean also supporting with their caseloads, and other tasks as necessary
