Job Title: Regional Fundraising Area Manager

Location: Home Based covering the North of England, with frequent travel around the region and the UK including our London office and Teenage Cancer Trust units. 

You will be required to attend fundraising events which may take place in the evenings and/or weekends and may occasionally be in areas with limited public transport options therefore we ask that applicants have access to a vehicle and a valid UK driving licence.

At Ambitious about Autism, we're currently looking for a Site Assistant to join our team at TreeHouse School.

You'll support the Estates Manager in maintaining a safe, secure and well-presented school environment. The role includes carrying out caretaking, cleaning and minor maintenance tasks, assisting with site security and supporting the smooth running of school activities and events.

You'll ensure the school grounds are clean, safe and well-maintained including litter-picking and daily visual checks of the playground and their equipment, recording this on SafetyCulture with evidence. You'll undertake minor repairs as needed and carry out day-to-day caretaking and cleaning duties as directed by the Estates Manager.

You will have:

• Practical skills in cleaning, basic maintenance and repair work
• Knowledge of IT and the ability to access databases to record information accurately

You will be creative and motivated, and will inspire the people we support through a range of activities and new opportunities, building upon our current offer. 

This role reduces social isolation and loneliness for disabled adults and children by creating new evenings and weekend opportunities. We’ll also look to you to create a brand for these new, standalone services which are designed with people who use our services and our co-production team.

Job Title: Freelance Facilitator

Programme Facilitators work with significant autonomy and authority. They must embrace responsibility and are accountable for their work. Overview

FearFree delivers services across the Southwest for victims, children and perpetrators of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking with the aim to break the cycle of abuse and support all to live free from fear. We provide trauma responsive support, and this post will be fundamental to ensuring service users, stakeholders and partners experience this in our daily delivery.

This ISAC role is set within the Wiltshire Domestic Abuse service, providing specialist stalking advice, consultancy and support to high risk victims of domestic abuse stalking across Wiltshire. You will be working in a multiagency environment including police, other statutory bodies and third sector organisations to respond to and safeguard high risk victims, bridging gaps in their support.

FearFree is committed to flexible and hybrid working and this role will be a mix of home based and office based, alongside requiring travel for multi-agency meetings and other deliverables.

This role may include evening and weekend work when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with high risk victims of domestic abuse stalking, providing a targeted service, promoting safety as the central issue and thus reducing the risk of serious harm or death.
• To provide this service both at time of crisis and in longer term e.g. safety planning, risk assessing advocacy, support through the criminal justice/civil legal process and liaison with other statutory and voluntary agencies.
• Complete specialist risk assessments (SASH and DASH).
• Manage a caseload ensuring each person receives the appropriate service individual to their risk and needs.
• Provide proactive, trauma responsive and holistic support, with a focus on increasing safety and reducing risk.
• Work with criminal justice agencies as well as a variety of partners including Victim Support, Children’s Social Care and Housing, to ensure a comprehensive approach to risk.
• Provide specialist advocacy to victims going through the criminal justice process.
• Attend Multi Agency meetings (Stalking Clinic) and Multi-agency Risk Assessment Conferences (MARAC) and Multi Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA) meetings as required.
• Give information and support to those experiencing stalking, enabling and empowering them to make positive choices about options available to them and assist them in regaining control of their lives.
• Support other agencies in the identification and referral of stalking issues via promotion of service and institutional advocacy.
• Offer professional consultancy, training and advice to other agencies on stalking.
• Respect and value the diversity of the community in which the services works in, and recognise the needs and concerns of a diverse range of survivors ensuring the service is accessible to all.
• Support colleagues and Head of Service to monitor data and report on quality outcomes.

• Complete an initial assessment of the child’s needs so that you can identify and plan the support needed to address issues and prevent any problems from escalating.
• Assess the needs of the child and devise appropriate support and safety plans with due regard to the dynamic nature of risk.
• Proactively engage with children and young people affected by DA/SV by providing therapeutic sessions tailed to their needs in where they are in their recovery journey.
• Risk assess and follow FearFree safety procedures to ensure personal safety and that of service users and other staff at all times.
• Actively support carers and parents in how to support their CYP affected by trauma. This may include working together to ensure the child is support at every stage in their recovery journey.
• Respond to emergencies and crises with a focus on the child’s wellbeing and safeguarding.
• Provide child-centred, trauma responsive support to all your cases taking in considering different learning needs, to empower the young person to make informed choices.
• Enable service users to participate in the design, delivery and evaluation of services.
• Keeping the child’s voice central to all support and decision making wherever possible: taking the time to talk through and work with the individual child’s understanding around safeguarding and why we need to share certain things.
• Act as duty officer, responding to incoming calls, logging referrals and making assigned outgoing calls, according to the duty rota.
• Work effectively within a multi-agency framework, consisting of the MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic abuse and sexual violence, in order to reduce the risk for service users and their families.
• Be proactive with your line manager to carry out periodic case reviews.
• Respect and value the diversity of the community in which the services work in, and recognise the needs and concerns of a diverse range of survivors ensuring the service is accessible to all.

Primary Teacher with Therapeutic Experience - Oasis Nurture – Oasis St Martin’s Village

Oasis St Martin’s Village

Oasis St Martins Village is part of Oasis which is a group of organisations, committed to building stronger communities. Oasis Nurture

Oasis Nurture is a project that is carried out on the Village. It is a therapeutic intervention designed specifically for those children who might be described as the missing middle – those who do not meet the threshold for an ECHP but who nevertheless struggle to engage with the curriculum for a variety of reasons.

Oasis Nurture is in its pilot phase, working with four local schools, offering a two day a week intervention to a small group of children.

As a Teacher, you will be working with a maximum of six children supported by a key worker and a therapeutic practitioner. You will work alongside a therapeutic lead and a clinical lead.

In this role you will be:

· Working with the home school and parents/carers to understand the children’s needs and developing agreed goals for learning and emotional and social development

· Developing a basic curriculum for Key Stage 2 children for numeracy and literacy, related to their stage learning at their home school, so that they don’t fall behind.

· Providing a personalised, bespoke and restorative approach for each individual child to help address their challenges and fulfil their potential. 

· Maintaining clear and accurate records for individual children on the designated online systems and reporting back to the home school and parents/carers on the agreed goals

· You will also be working with the Therapeutic Lead to provide opportunities for mindful therapeutic care to remove barriers to learning and provide emotional support to access the curriculum. While this role requires primary teaching experience it also requires someone who has experience of working in trauma responsive ways and understands the therapeutic needs of children who struggle to engage.

Oasis Nurture is not an Alternative Provision; it is a part time intervention designed to support local schools and children and their families. Oasis Nurture is not a statutory provision and does not therefore follow teachers’ pay and conditions. Oasis offers all the usual employment benefits including sick pay and pension.

As a Senior Business Development Officer, you’ll play a lead role in the development and writing of tenders and proposals for a variety of health and social care services. This role offers a great opportunity to learn and develop while using your established skills, and you’ll be encouraged to take on more responsibility as you progress.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Writing and editing complex and highly weighted bid responses, working to short timeframes
• Project managing the writing of key tenders with support from a Business Development Manager
• Supporting the development of Assistant Business Development Officers and Business Development Officers, with the potential of providing line management
• Working with staff across the organisation and our partners to develop bids that reflect best practice respond to local needs
• Producing and coordinating detailed research for upcoming opportunities, including meeting with subject matter experts, analysing data and collating evidence
• Creating presentations, diagrams and reports
• Participating in and leading reviews of our bid and proposal processes.

About you         

We’re looking for candidates with proven experience of writing tenders, proposals or grant applications in health and social care.

You are:

• A highly competent communicator with a successful track record in bid writing, ideally for drug and alcohol treatment or related services
• Experienced in leading smaller bids and proposals
