About the role

The mission of the Supporter Care team at Crisis is to ensure that everyone who contacts us has an excellent experience. We are looking for a new Customer Service Coordinator with a strong background in customer service/supporter care. In addition to being great on the phone and having excellent writing, the successful candidate will be a problem solver who loves methodically working through issues to uncover root causes. You will also have a strong collaborative approach and be willing to develop yourself professionally by learning new skills.

This is an exciting time to join our team. We are about to transition to our new CRM (Microsoft Dynamics 365). We are also implementing new ways of getting the most from our contact management system (Zendesk), utilising AI and other functionality. This role will suit you if you have a strong understanding of customer service, are able to learn new technologies and to adapt to a changing environment all while delivering consistently excellent service.

About you

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have significant current or very recent experience in telephone-based customer/supporter service
• Be an initiative-taker, actively seek solutions before escalating issues
• Be able to effectively handle complex and difficult telephone calls
• Have a strong work ethic and ability to carry out a high volume of tasks to high levels of quality and speed
• Be motivated to develop professionally and consistently meet performance targets

About You

It is essential that youhave significant experience working in a health charity, leading a team that delivers programmes to support healthcare professionals. This includes developing education, driving engagement, and leading quality improvement initiatives across primary and secondary care.

You will be an experienced leader with a strong track record of managing teams and influencing senior stakeholders to improve standards of care. Overall Purpose

The role’s focus is on helping steward relationships, deliver first class engagement opportunities and support the development and delivery of partnerships with high-value supporters, including Corporate, Philanthropists and Charitable Trusts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The main duties and responsibilities of the role holder are as outlined below:

Strategic Partnerships and Philanthropy:

• Support the creation and delivery of effective fundraising within our key strategic partnerships, working with and through our network of over 200 members. This includes some established national multi-year corporate relationships.
• Assist in the creation and scheduling of strategic communications between partners and members, working closely with the colleagues within NHS Charities Together.
• Support and facilitate the creation and delivery of volunteering opportunities for partners on both a national and local level, working closely with NHS charity members and wider NHS Charities Together staff.
• Support in the coordination of national and local partnership activities during peak moments in our calendar and employee engagement campaigns.

Cultivation & Stewardship:

• Work with the Development Team to devise and deliver programmes of engagement for major corporate donors.
• Support in the creation of partnership reports, newsletters and regular updates.
• Provide support to the wider Development team at moments of peak activity, including supporting events and other campaigns

Relationship Management:

• Maintain accurate records of interactions with partners, donors and members in our database & CRM systems (Raiser’s Edge, Beacon), working in accordance with General Data Protection Regulations)
• Support the development of stewardship plans to recognise and retain partners and donors.
• Maintain close working relationships with members of the team across the organisation to support the delivery of our fundraising plans
• Maintain important relationships with external stakeholders including corporate partners, stakeholders and NHS charity members.

Other Duties

• Maintain and develop knowledge of fundraising trends and innovations especially within the corporate and philanthropy fundraising market.
• Work closely with internal teams to understand the work of the charity and how we can bring this to life in creative ways for our supporters.

Just as importantly, you'll be a collaborative team player, capable of using your initiative, building partnerships and supporting the induction of new peer staff and volunteers.

Team Leadership and Management

• Lead, motivate, and manage the Grounds and Woodland Team, including workforce planning, training, and upskilling.

About the Role

• You'll be part of the Service Design & Innovation team and work alongside dedicated colleagues who are committed to improving support and outcomes for witnesses and victim/survivors across England and Wales. • The role is home-based with regular travel across England and Wales. Some evening or weekend work may be required.
• As the Coproduction Lead, you will play a pivotal role in creating a consistent, meaningful, and sustainable coproduction model across the Witness Service. You'll work closely with witnesses, frontline staff, volunteers and partners to build safe, supportive spaces where people feel empowered to share their ideas, experiences and insights.
• You will design and lead coproduction activities - from workshops to journey mapping, prototyping and collaborative design sessions - ensuring that witness experiences inform strategic and operational decision-making. You'll also support the embedding of service design and innovation principles into practice, helping shape the future of our services.

Our General Advice Team covers a range of different projects, in this role the Trussel Trust Foodbank Advisor will give advice face-to-face within in foodbank outreach locations and CAL offices across Liverpool.
