About the Role

This role provides help and support to our frontline services, to deliver an effective service by processing referrals in a timely manner, processing post and responding to miscellaneous

enquiries, delivering our social media strategy and contributing to wider engagement - particularly with children and young people.

Although we intend to appoint one person to this role, the responsibilities are divided across two service areas: 25 hours per week will support our Children and Young People's Services, and 10 hours per week will support the Lancashire Sexual Violence Service. For contractual purposes, this will be issued as two linked contracts- one for 25 hours and one for 10 hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process referrals into the service and upload to the CMS in a timely manner
• Plan and publish regular updates on the service's social media platforms
• Respond to general enquiries and provide accurate information
• Remain up to date with organisational and professional policies, procedures and best practice and legislation connected to your work
• Work closely with the Operations Manager on developing and delivering online and in person engagement strategies

About You:

Ideally, you will have work experience providing administrative and client facing support in a service working with vulnerable and/or traumatised clients. You will be accustomed to data entry into case management systems and able to tailor your approach to meet priorities like service level agreements (deadlines). You will also have experience using and delivering targeted messages on social media and feeding into engagement and outreach strategies.

This role can involve regular travel across Lancashire, and due to the wide geographic area we cover, you will need to have reliable means of travelling across the county.

We’re seeking a Services Administrator to join our fantastic Information Team! 

Help us support thousands of people affected by pancreatic cancer each year. We support people through our nurse-led Support Line, our online, print and video information, webinars and our peer support Circles. 

This is a varied, part time role reporting into the Senior Information Manager but working across our information and support services teams. Some of what you’ll be doing will involve:

• Providing administrative support across our information and support teams, including processing service users’ data, booking meetings, monitoring email inboxes and sending communications. 
• Supporting the team with our digital platforms, including our website, social media and online shop.
• Carrying out regular data entry into our CRM, and collating feedback, data and statistics for team reports.

We’re looking for someone who is process driven, always makes sure they get the details right, and is constantly learning and improving.

SHAK (South Hampstead and Kilburn Community Partnership) is a resident led charity based on the Alexandra and Ainsworth estate in the Kilburn Ward of Camden, London, dedicated to supporting residents and young people living in an area of high deprivation.

If successful you will be based at “The ARC Youth Club”, an estate based youth led centre with integrated music studio, kitchen, games and "chill-out" space. The ARC engages approximately 250 young people per year and plays a vital role in their welfare and development outside of school. In holidays we offer a full program of activities and free meals for young people who may otherwise miss out.

You will deliver a range of activities e.g. cooking, arts & crafts, sports, trips, music, events etc. You will also offer support and guidance for local young people and enable them to develop life long skills while designing and running their own projects, forums etc. In school holidays you will be required to work an expected 28 hrs a week as we offer a full program of activities and free meals for young people

Purpose of the role

As Education and Events Executive, your primary responsibility is to support the Head of Education and Events in the delivery of the department’s objectives. What will I be doing?

• Maximising income and awareness by building and maintaining strong supporter relationships
• Stewarding our supporters over the phone and via email, among other methods, using a combination of individual and mass communication tools, and providing our supporters with an excellent experience with every interaction
• Proactively and creatively engaging with supporters, using fundraising skills and expertise to guide, coach and inspire our supporters to reach their fundraising goals
• Thanking our supporters promptly and appropriately, to recognise their vital impact on the work of Young Lives vs Cancer
• Identify and resolve common issues to ensure excellent and consistent supporter care, working with the rest of the team and wider fundraising colleagues to seek out opportunities for improvement across our work
• Develop and refine supporter communications to help increase engagement, income and awareness of Young Lives vs Cancer and our need for support
• Taking ownership of team processes and engaging with cross-team projects, to ensure effectiveness, efficiency and consistency

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and energetic Music Youth Worker to support young people through high quality music activity. About the role:

As a Team Leader you will play a vital role in supporting a team of CYP Practitioners in providing high quality, end-to-end support to all children and young people who have experienced domestic and/or sexual abuse across Cumbria. You will support and guide your team to achieve key performance indicators, provide appropriate information and support, complete regular 1-1 performance reviews and annual appraisals.

You will need:

• good understanding of domestic abuse and its impact on child victim/survivors

YMCA  works to prevent and disrupt the sexual exploitation of children and young people aged 5-25 across East Sussex, Brighton and Hove, and Surrey.

We are a specialist team of passionate, dedicated professionals who support each other to work in this challenging area.

We deliver trauma informed, consent-based work with young people, schools, statutory services and Sussex Police. The WiSE SOLAH ("safer online at home") project focuses on one-to-one interventions as well as group work, training for professionals and creation of resources to challenge the risk presented from the online space.

We have an exciting opportunity to join the WiSE team as a Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) Practitioner - SOLAH. We are looking for someone who is passionate about safeguarding children and young people, working creatively around promoting healthy relationships, online safety whilst creating safe spaces for children and young people to be heard.

You will provide early intervention support to children and young people 5-25 years who have been identified as being at risk of sexual or criminal exploitation.

Working primarily across Rye, Eastbourne, Robertsbridge and Hastings, you will support children and young people to stay safe online and within their communities by providing consultation, guidance and professional support to those working directly with individuals at risk of exploitation. As the role involves travel across East Sussex, you will ideally need access to a car and the ability to drive. Your work will include exploring key topics with young people such as risk, healthy and unhealthy relationships, sex and consent, negotiation and assertiveness, protective behaviours, personal boundaries, harmful sexual behaviours, gender identities, and concepts of masculinity.

Key responsibilities are:

• Manage a caseload of vulnerable young people and supporting them to stay safe and leave the influence of perpetrators
• Work with other professionals to deliver tailored care packages and provide consultation
•  Maintain accurate case records and contributing to timely reports
•  Liaise with Children’s Services, Sussex Police and other agencies to disrupt abuse and support prosecutions
• Deliver training and awareness-raising workshops to professionals and foster carers
• Contribute to strategic development and deputising at relevant meetings

This is a challenging role where children and young people do not always identify the level of risk they are exposed to or the abusive nature of the relationships they are in. The support of victims can be distressing and emotionally demanding for the workers, consequently 1-to-1 clinical supervision, weekly team meetings and regular line management supervision of cases and wellbeing.
