Formed in 1981, we offer information and support, for example through our website, information leaflets and webinars, and via our local support groups, Helplines and online forum. We are looking for an experienced Policy and Campaigns Manager to manage our policy and campaigning work. You will have a strong understanding of the UK political system and how to influence it, and will be confident in drafting reports, consultation responses and working with and disseminating data. You will have worked on health policy before, and will have strong knowledge of how to influence health policy at local and national level.
You must be pro-active in your approach to monitoring the external environment and seeking out opportunities for Endometriosis UK to have the most influence. You’ll be able to work in a small team and understand how we can make the most impact with our limited capacity.
You will be passionate about menstrual health and ensuring patient voices are at the heart of all we deliver, and will be able to turn policy asks into strong campaigns.
About the role:
This is a pivotal role in our Campaigns and Communications Team, reporting to the Head of Campaigns and Communications. You will be managing the drafting of evidenced-based policy positions (for example analysing research, data and lived experience insight) and work with the Head of Campaigns and Communications to ensure these are translated into effective campaigning activity that drives real change.
You will oversee the integration of policy and campaigns activity, working closely with the Campaigns and Policy Officer, and enabling the Chief Executive and Senior Leadership Team to engage with parliamentary and high-level stakeholder engagement.
This role offers a great opportunity for an experienced Policy and Campaigns Manager to shape how Endometriosis UK uses evidence, policy and campaigning together to improve diagnosis times, access to treatment, and support for those affected by menstrual health conditions across the UK.

Providence Row has supported people facing homelessness in East London since 1860. Our Day Centre is often the first place people come when they need help. It is a space where people can eat, shower, speak to staff, and be welcomed with dignity.
As a Day Centre Assessment & Reconnection Worker, you will play a key role at that first point of contact. You will ensure people are welcomed calmly, understood quickly, and supported to access the right pathway. This is a role focused on assessment, decision-making, and connection rather than ongoing casework.
You will also support geographical reconnection where appropriate, including accompanying clients to local authorities across London, ensuring plans are realistic, safe, and grounded in dignity.
The ideal candidate
- Experience working with people affected by homelessness or multiple disadvantage.
- Confidence carrying out trauma-informed assessments and making clear, proportionate decisions.
- Understanding of housing pathways, rough sleeping processes, and local connection rules.
- Ability to remain calm and boundaried in challenging or fast-paced environments.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust quickly.
- Good organisational skills and confidence using IT systems and databases.
Desirable
- Experience in a day centre, drop-in, or similar frontline setting.
- Knowledge of local authority homelessness duties and processes.
- Experience supporting reconnection or working across borough boundaries.
- Lived experience of homelessness or working alongside peer-led approaches.

About the role: We have been appointed as the secretariat of an Expert Reference Group (ERG) comprising a network of organisations in the London-wide violence against women and girls (VAWG) sector. As the secretariat for the ERG, we will ensure that the VAWG sector is fully involved in MOPAC’s VAWG-related work. About the role:
This is a pilot project for Advance working with women with complex needs related to their involvement with the criminal justice system. As the Complex Needs & Outreach Worker you will provide intensive, trauma-informed support to women experiencing multiple and intersecting vulnerabilities, including homelessness, domestic and sexual violence, mental health challenges, substance misuse, and social exclusion. Working flexibly across outreach and community settings, you will focus on building trusting relationships with women who may be disengaged from or distrustful of services, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are addressed holistically.
You will be based primarily at Folkestone Probation Office, with up to two days per week spent providing outreach support in the community. This position involves close collaboration with the Folkestone Women's Pod to identify women who require intensive support.
A car may be desirable for this role, though not essential.
About You:
To be successful as the Complex Needs & Outreach Worker you will need the below experience and skills:
You will be highly empathetic, able to listen without judgement, and emotionally resilient when supporting women who have experienced significant trauma and adversity. The role requires tenacity and persistence, maintaining consistent engagement with clients who may have chaotic circumstances or face barriers to accessing support. You will advocate on behalf of clients, coordinate multi-agency responses, and support women to access safe accommodation, health services, safeguarding support, and pathways to recovery and independence.
This role demands a proactive, compassionate professional who can manage complex risk, work autonomously, and remain motivated and resilient while delivering person-centered, strengths-based support to some of the most vulnerable women in the community to enable them to lead safe and fulfilling lives.

We're looking for an Engagement Worker to join our residential service based in Catford which supports females in the criminal justice system who are likely to meet the criteria for a personality disorder, helping them reintegrate into the community following release from prison, secure healthcare settings, or Approved Premises. HerStory House is dedicated to empowering women with the skills needed to thrive in their chosen communities, maintain independence, and build a hopeful future.
Our specialised, high-support, female-only residential service is tailored for women who are likely to meet the criteria for a personality disorder diagnosis and are at risk of entering or re-entering the Criminal Justice System. You will be at the forefront of delivering a trauma-informed, person-centred service, supporting individuals through rehabilitation and resettlement. This includes assisting with engagement activities, developing support plans, and providing access to appropriate interventions to help residents move towards independence.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Supporting residents to access the resources, tools, and networks they need to achieve their goals.
- Develop, participate in, and encourage residents to participate in the running and development of various projects and activities.
- Promoting independence through life skills training, practical support, and empowerment.
- Recognising and responding to mental and physical health needs and safeguarding concerns.
- Supporting the creation of a safe, welcoming and psychologically informed living environment.
- Carrying out housing management tasks including reporting repairs, maintaining communal areas, and health and safety checks.

About the role:
In recognition of the distinct challenges facing young women and girls (YWG), Advance has developed and delivers specialist provision for young women and girls on the Maia & Lift programme, in partnership with other specialist organisations.
Our team of Maia Mentor Advocates deliver consistent, holistic support to a small caseload of YWG, working to build relationships of trust, empower YWG to explore their identities, sense of safety, aspirations, and providing practical help and advocacy where needed. As a Youth Advocate, you will provide a dedicated service for girls aged 9-13 at risk of domestic abuse, school exclusion, exploitation, gang involvement and contact with the criminal justice systems, as well as engage with their parents and carers, putting children at the heart of your work.
About You:
To be successful as the Youth Advocate you will need the below experience and skills:
You bring your experience and ability to work intensively with a selected cohort of girls (aged up to 13) on a 1:1 basis, and within a group setting, in a trauma informed way. You will have a strong understanding of the challenges facing vulnerable children and families, and use your knowledge of family functioning, parenting and child development to inform assessment. You can confidently, sensitively and proactively assess risks and safety concerns, raising concerns with the Service Manager, working within local safeguarding frameworks and taking appropriate action to safeguard girls with complex needs. You bring experience of working with Children and Young people with multiple needs and diagnosis such as ADHD, Mental Health, Self Harm, CSE, ASD and how these impact the family, individual and self when delivering work.

Overall Objectives
To support women who have been subjected to domestic abuse, ‘so called’ honor-based abuse and or forced marriage to navigate the barriers faced in their journey to recovery.
To provide holistic and trauma-informed support to women residing across Pdap’s refuge services who have experienced domestic abuse. The post will have a strong emphasis on supporting empowerment through one to one and group-based activities. This role will deliver targeted interventions, facilitate group activities that promote confidence and self-efficacy, and provide flexible, ad hoc support to a small caseload of women.
The successful applicant will embody the Pdap values and keep the client at the heart of everything they do.
Particular Tasks of the Postholder
The postholder will provide client-centred support and advocate for victims of domestic abuse by;
1. Providing bespoke 1 to 1 support sessions:
• Provide one-to-one support tailored to the needs of women affected by domestic abuse.
• Help women rebuild post-abuse.
• Complete support plans with women to ascertain their needs and work with them to achieve their goals
• To support women to access housing and other key services
• To ensure women have the means to live independently including support to access finance and education
2. Facilitating Group Activities
• Alongside the wider DAP team to design and facilitate a regular programme of group activities aimed at building confidence, skills, and emotional wellbeing.
• Promote peer support, personal development, and recovery through workshops on topics such as self-esteem, healthy relationships, assertiveness, and life skills.
• Encourage participation and co-production by involving women in planning and leading group sessions where appropriate.
3. Individual Support
• Hold a small, manageable caseload and provide responsive, ad hoc support as needed.
• Conduct holistic, trauma-informed assessments, support plans and safety planning.
• Empower women to make informed choices and access relevant services (e.g. legal, housing, benefits, health).
• Advocate on behalf of residents where necessary to ensure their rights and needs are met.
4. Partnership and Safeguarding
• Work closely with external agencies (e.g. social services, schools, health professionals) to ensure coordinated support.

Role Purpose
Our Mentoring and Supported Volunteering program (MSV) empowers people to improve their quality of life & reduce their vulnerabilities by using volunteer mentors and volunteer opportunities within their communities to build resilience, confidence & aspirations, gain practical experience, boosting CV’s through obtaining UK based references and moving towards employment.
Our approach is person centered and participants are matched with a volunteer mentor whose experience, expertise or interests compliment the needs & aspirations prioritised by the person and provide peer support & mentoring delivered flexibly in the community.
Regular intensive engagement sessions with volunteer mentors provide a unique third space between services/institutions/employer & friend/peer in which people can work towards positive changes & goals in a supportive, strengths-based setting.
MSV focusses on a strengths-based approach, combining peer support & mentoring enabling people to engage in a self-determined & positive way with community and employment opportunities.
We also offer tailored, and supported volunteer placements with our third sector charity partners, for a period of 3-6 months tailored directly to the individual’s needs. This is based on their job aspirations, current skillsets, motivations, and interests to create the “best fit” and get the most out of the experience. The mentor manager successful in this post will not directly place or support participants in these volunteering placements but will work closely with the MSV volunteer manager as there is often cross-over of participants and ‘in-house’ referrals between mentoring and supported volunteering, as these services are often complementary to each other.

About the role
This critical role leads our Service Desk in delivering responsive, high-impact second and third-line support across our core systems, applications and hardware.
You'll champion clear, consistent processes that empower Helpdesk Analysts to resolve more issues at first contact, building a culture of continuous learning, collaboration and shared problem-solving. Acting as a senior escalation point for complex technical challenges, you’ll drive improvements to system stability, service quality and user satisfaction, while ensuring colleagues from around the world (including those working in French or Spanish) receive timely, thoughtful and effective support.
At its heart, this role shapes a support function that is proactive, knowledgeable, and always focused on maximising organisational impact.
About you
You'll bring strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows environments and enterprise-level administration, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex, multi-system issues at second-line level and beyond. With well-developed communication skills, you're confident supporting colleagues at all levels and are comfortable working within ITIL-aligned service management practices.
You'll have experience leading or guiding technical teams, ideally across multiple locations, and a deep understanding of modern Microsoft technologies, service desk tools, and the realities of providing dependable support in a busy environment.
Knowledge of ITIL, Microsoft 365 administration, infrastructure fundamentals or IT project methods would be a bonus, as would experience supporting teams in development or international settings.

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Housing to lead our supported housing services nationally and help shape the next stage of our growth.
As Director of Housing, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across all of Life’s supported housing services. This is a key role within the Senior Leadership Team, responsible for ensuring our housing provision is high‑quality, compliant, safe and truly centred around the needs of our clients.
You will lead our national Housing Strategy, drive service improvement, ensure regulatory compliance, support organisational growth, and champion a culture of compassion, accountability and high performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Growth
- Develop and deliver a national Housing Strategy aligned to Life’s vision and mission.
- Identify housing development and expansion opportunities, including partnerships with local authorities and commissioners.
- Support organisational business planning and future growth.
Regulatory Compliance & Governance
- Ensure full compliance with housing legislation and regulatory requirements including the Social Housing (Regulation) Act, HHSRS, safeguarding and Health & Safety.
- Lead regulatory audits, inspections and risk management.
- Provide assurance on compliance and viability to the CEO and Trustees.
Service Quality & Client Experience
- Embed a client-centred, compassionate approach aligned with Housing Ombudsman principles.
- Oversee effective complaints management, learning reviews and client feedback systems.
- Ensure properties and services meet high standards of safety, warmth and comfort.
Operational Leadership
- Lead housing management, income recovery, voids, repairs and maintenance, compliance and tenancy sustainment.
- Ensure effective escalation of tenancy breaches and safeguarding practices.
- Work closely with Life’s Helpline services around referral and allocations.
Financial & Asset Management
- Oversee rental income, arrears, void control and financial performance.
- Manage contracts, grants and local authority funding.
- Ensure major works, planned maintenance and statutory compliance are delivered effectively.
Leadership & People Management
- Lead and support Housing Managers, support teams and frontline workers.
- Foster a positive culture of accountability, inclusion and high standards.
- Support staff development and performance.
Partnership Management
- Build strong relationships with local authorities, property professionals, contractors, funders and other key partners.
- Represent Life at external forums and sector networks.
About you:
Essential
- CIH Level 5 (or equivalent) qualification
- Senior leadership experience in supported housing, social housing, or homelessness services
- Strong knowledge of housing law, tenancy management and regulatory compliance
- Understanding of Housing Ombudsman standards and consumer regulations
- Experience in strategic planning, service development and organisational growth
- Budget management and financial performance experience
- Experience with property maintenance, asset management and compliance
- Strong safeguarding knowledge
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
- UK driving licence and access to a car
