As Weldmar Hospicecare moves into an exciting new direction in fundraising, we are seeking a Philanthropy Manager to lead our engagement with key investors and high net worth individuals.

This is a brand new role designed to broaden our reach and secure the major gifts necessary to fund our specialist care services. Working alongside fellow fundraising managers, as well as the Senior Leadership Team and Trustees, and reporting to the Director of Fundraising, your key responsibilities will be to:

· Identify and research high value prospects, implementing bespoke donor journeys that move supporters from initial interest to significant financial commitment. 

· Establish and lead a group of dedicated volunteers who act as champions for Weldmar across the county. 

· Manage our Trust and Foundations Fundraiser, overseeing applications for grant funding and ensuring detailed, timely reporting to funders. 

· Represent Weldmar at flagship events and networking opportunities, educating partners on how their investment makes a tangible difference to the specialist care Weldmar provides in Dorset. 

· Using Raiser’s Edge, you will maintain meticulous records and provide regular performance and prospect reports to senior management. 

You will have extensive experience in managing profitable fundraising events or securing high value income. You must be a diplomatic and persuasive negotiator, comfortable engaging with decision makers at all levels. A professional qualification (such as the IoF Diploma) is desirable, but more important is your ability to tell Weldmar’s story in a way that inspires generosity.  A Basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check is required for this role.

We are seeking a Fundraising Officer to join our team who can support our Fundraising Manager to secure charitable income essential to the delivery of our services.

The Role:

As our Fundraising Officer, you will work closely with the Fundraising Manager to deliver our fundraising strategy. You will help deliver annual fundraising events; bid to corporate supporters, trusts and foundations; and build strong relationships with community organisations and individual donors. You will be part of a fantastic team, dedicated to making a real difference in defeating homelessness.

We are looking for a passionate and adaptable individual, who can support the Fundraising Manager across all voluntary income streams, from formal bids to fun community events.

This role is especially crucial as our charity’s need for fundraised income has risen significantly in the last three years - as result of the increased cost of living, and reduced support from the local authority. Despite these challenges, York Road Project’s work remains immensely valuable to the local community. Position: Area Fundraising Manager

Location: Barnsley, South Yorkshire

Hours: 30 hours per week, 1 day working from home allowance

Job Purpose

This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced fundraiser.  This role won’t just be supporting fundraising internally but will be leading a fundraising change across the borough. About the Sickle Cell Society (SCS)

The Sickle Cell Society (SCS) is the only national charity in the UK that supports and represents people affected by a sickle cell disorder. We provide information, advice and support to enable people to improve their overall quality of life. Over 18,500 people in the UK have a sickle cell disorder, an inherited condition that predominantly affects people of Black African and Black Caribbean heritage; and to a lesser extent people of Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, South Asian and Central/South American heritage. 

Job Purpose:

To assist the Fundraising Manager in the delivery of the Sickle Cell Society’s (SCS) Fundraising Strategy and on-going development to achieve its fundraising priorities and targets. An exciting and varied role we are seeking a strong team player, and someone with the confidence and initiative to help develop and grow charitable income. The post holder will be someone with a ‘cando’ attitude and the enthusiasm to want to learn and get things done. The post-holder will work closely with the Fundraising Manager, and wider team to provide an engaging supporter journey and timely, efficient donor care to existing and new supporters of the Society. Responsible for helping the team meet our agreed income targets for celebratory giving, challenge events, community fundraising and corporate payroll giving initiatives.; the post-holder will be keen on developing their Fundraising career and interested in expanding their use of CRM databases, data management and the production of reports for effective donor stewardship.

You will be responsible for the membership and donors’ database (Beacon) keeping up to date and reporting back on results, whilst ensuring data compliance and implementation of data. You will be highly proficient in the use of business IT systems in particular Microsoft Excel to analyse data, and you will also have at least one year’s experience, or equivalent, in producing detailed and insightful reports.

The post-holder will be a confident communicator and collaborator with proven relationship building and creative and innovative fundraising skills. You will also support the development of our fundraising communications, monitoring performance across all channels driving best practice and income growth. You will generate and develop engaging fundraising communications and be responsible for your own copywriting, including thanking our wonderful donors via the most appropriate communication channels.

We're looking for a Community Fundraising Officer, based at our rehoming centre in West Calder, to promote the work of Dogs Trust to key audience groups and deliver excellent customer care for all Dogs Trust supporters, but particularly potential and existing legacy pledgers.

What does this role do?
As Community Fundraising Officer, you’ll:

• link the rehoming centre with supporters in the local community, developing relationships with local individuals, businesses, community groups and clubs, 
• feed into various income streams through these relationships, identifying prospects in the community and develop a pipeline of future donors and legacy donations,
• steward existing and potential donors, always providing them with a seamless supporter journey, ensuring they have a clear understanding of the work we do and feel motivated to support our meaningful local work,

• completing all administration related to donations to the centre, including thanking and banking.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need some community fundraising experience, with the ability to build connections and connect with the local community. To do this, you’ll need excellent communication skills and be able to confidently approach and interact with supporters. While you’ll be a key part of the rehoming centre team, you’ll be regularly be working independently, so strong organisational skills and a proactive approach is essential.

This role is based at the rehoming centre, and the post holder will spend lots of time in the community meeting supporters. The working pattern is typically Monday to Friday, but flexibility is required and is likely to involve some evening and weekend work, depending on the nature of the work.
