The Town and Country Planning Association (TCPA) is looking to appoint a Communications Manager to grow our profile and increase the impact of our work to create sustainable and resilient places that are fair for everyone. • Lead the development and implementation of communications across all of the TCPA’s areas of work to support the delivery of the Association’s Five year Strategy. Working closely with the Chief Executive and the management team, the Communications Manager will develop new strategies to raise the profile of the organisation and increase the reach and impact of the TCPA’s projects, campaigns and activities.
• Manage and deliver the TCPA’s day to day communications activity, working with the team to expand our audiences, and shape the TCPA’s approach to communications to enhance the organisation’s work.

The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills and proven experience of delivering diverse and effective communications strategies. The role will lead and deliver the TCPA’s Communications Strategy, embedding high quality communications across the work of our small and committed team.

Purpose of the Role

The Manager for Young Lives & Families and Independent Living Advice & Support provides operational leadership and coordination across both departments.

The postholder supervises project leads, ensures effective, person-centred service delivery, and maintains quality, compliance and accountability in line with AoD’s values and the Social Model of Disability.

Working closely with the Chief Operating Officer, the Manager supports planning, performance monitoring, budgeting and partnership development to ensure services for Disabled children, young people, adults and families are delivered to a high standard and meet contractual outcomes.

Main Responsibilities

1. Provide clear, supportive day-to-day leadership across both departments, ensuring that services meet organisational and contractual requirements.

2. Supervise and support the project leads for Youth, Supported Internships (H&F and K&C), Welfare Benefits Advice and Direct Payments Support.

3. Coordinate delivery to ensure that all activities are inclusive, accessible and informed by the Social Model of Disability.

4. Oversee compliance with statutory, contractual and safeguarding requirements, maintaining accurate monitoring and quality-assurance systems.

5. Manage departmental budgets within agreed limits and contribute to forecasting, reporting and value-for-money reviews.

6. Prepare and submit funding applications and tender bids, in conjunction with the Chief Operating Officer, ensuring proposals are evidence-based and aligned with AoD’s strategic priorities.

7. Lead regular team meetings, supervision and appraisals; set clear objectives and support staff development.

8. Build and maintain effective partnerships with local authorities, schools, colleges, employers and community organisations to strengthen outcomes.

9. Support project leads with data collection, outcome reporting and evaluation (including use of Salesforce or other systems).

10.  Promote co-production and participation by Disabled people in service design, delivery and review.

11.  Contribute to planning and service improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance delivery and efficiency.

12.  Represent AoD positively at external meetings, networks and events, promoting our vision, values and expertise.

13.  Work collaboratively with other AoD departments to encourage cross-organisational learning and shared practice.

General Responsibilities

The Woodland Trust is looking for an Outreach Manager to join our South West team. The Outreach Manager leads the Trust’s outreach work in Southwest England, providing expert advice on woodland creation, management and restoration to landowners, organisations and stakeholders across the region, in support if the Woodland Trust’s conservation aims. About the Service and the Role

This role is an exciting opportunity to work with the Operational Services Manager (Blended Teams) to manage the daily operations of our Blended Teams functions.

This includes managing a core team of workers in a diverse range of projects and services often in partnership with the NHS and other VCSE and community groups. The role will involve multi-agency working and ensuring the continuous development of our services to ensure that they meet the needs of the community and blended team outcomes.

Ideally, you will be required to have knowledge of managing remote teams who may be imbedded in NHS services and the ideal candidate would have the skills to support staff with the complex challenges that come with blended working as well as maintaining and building relationships with key stakeholders. You will also be required to hold your own caseload, supporting the teams with more complex service users and cover gaps in services.

Key Responsibilities and Service Delivery

• Operate a service and ensure outcomes which support individuals with mental health and wellbeing needs in line with Mind BLMK’s and blended team model and contract requirements.
• Work with the Operational Services Manager (Blended Teams) and senior managers to ensure the management of an effective workforce including recruitment and performance management challenges
• Ensure that services with complex partnerships and remote teams are effectively managed and maintained, through effective relationship building and multi-agency working.
• Ensure regular involvement of service users, volunteer and staff on local service delivery, organisational matters and wider mental health strategies.
• Assess suitability for community connection support as part of a blended team approach and support individuals to access the service by utilising in depth knowledge of local voluntary and community services and networks.
• To work with individuals to coproduce a plan to address their mental health and wellbeing goals. Enable people to achieve these goals through facilitating access and connecting with appropriate resources.
• Enable people to access community resources which may include accompanying them.
• Offer support, guidance and help where possible to people to gain confidence, overcome initial fears and seek solutions to any barriers inhibiting attendance.
• Take a holistic approach, based on the individuals’ priorities and wider determinants of health that impact on their health and wellbeing, such as debt, poor housing, being unemployed, loneliness and caring responsibilities.
• To work as part of an integrated team to ensure the best outcomes for each person accessing the service.
• Maintain an effective workforce for the service in line with Mind BLMK’s HR policies, procedures and guidance (recruitment, line management, workload planning, support and development of crisis workers, peer support workers and volunteers).
• Hold responsibility for health and safety, data collection and cash handling in line with Mind BLMK’s policies, procedures and guidance.

The successful candidate will have experience of managing diverse staff resources, multi-agency working, 2 years’ experience working with people with mental health and managing remote teams. Level 3 Social Care (or equivalent) and Management and Leadership qualifications are desirable.

About this role:
Care Not Custody is an intervention service in partnership with Sussex Police and Probation, to divert women away from the criminal justice system, by offering case work support through an Out of Court disposal (OOCD) or intervention to prevent a breach of their probation order.

Care Not Custody encourages frontline Police Officers to consider an OOCD in cases where they would normally have charged a woman. Currently, women who receive a Conditional Caution or Community Resolution do not have access to a women specific service in Sussex. Women who agree to the condition will be referred to BWC by Sussex Police for casework support, diverting them away from the formal criminal justice system into a holistic support package.

Care Not Custody works closely with Probation Officers to identify women who are at risk or in breach of their community order or license agreement and offer interventions to encourage women to re-engage.  Care Not Custody staff attend Breach Court to meet with women who are listed in breach, staff work with the women to empower reengagement with their community orders.

The Care Not Custody Caseworker will provide holistic, integrated casework support for women in Sussex, supporting women to navigate and access the services they require to address a range of practical and emotional needs, including helping with signposting, advocacy, and referrals. They will be informed by BWC’s values, policies and procedures and will understand the importance of building trust and self-esteem with service users, to enhance recovery and engagement with BWC and other services while completing all reporting requirements on the BWC database.

Working hours:   This is a full time (35 hours per week) role, but we will consider flexible options depending on service delivery requirements.  Working hours are within normal office hours, 9am-5pm.  Occasional out of hours may be required.

Work location:  Care Not Custody Caseworkers are based Pan Sussex in Sussex Probation, Breach Court and surrounding areas, and in BWC locations in Sussex. Purpose of the post

The purpose of the ‘Prayer Enabler and Vision Delivery Support Officer’ is twofold:

1. To set up, convene, support and inspire the new Prayer Enabler network, providing guidance and advice to clergy and PCCs in relation to appointing Prayer Enablers. To then creatively develop both resources, social media connections and events to support the Prayer Enablers such that a new layer of prayer support is established across the Diocese of Blackburn.

Since beginning as a volunteer-led initiative in York in 2011, Generate has grown into an established charity delivering a range of services across North Yorkshire. We are now looking for an efficient Administrator to play a key role in supporting the Centre and its staff. The position involves updating our secure databases with appointments and clinical information, handling enquiries by email and telephone, providing receptionist duties, training counsellors in administrative procedures, and contributing to the overall smooth running of the Centre. 

The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and exceptionally clear verbal and written communication skills, and a knowledge of - or willingness to learn about - the fields of counselling and psychotherapy, and will be a positive and thoughtful team player.

The Gurkha Welfare Trust has supported Gurkha veterans and their families in Nepal for nearly 60 years. Gurkhas have served in the British Army for more than 200 years as soldiers of extraordinary courage, loyalty, and bravery. When their service ends, we make sure they are not forgotten. We deliver financial aid, medical support, clean water, education and housing through 21 Area Welfare Centres in Nepal and India, supported by a passionate UK fundraising team based in Salisbury.

The opportunity

This is a brilliant role for someone who thrives on variety. You will be at the heart of the Trust's community fundraising programme, supporting individuals and groups raising money on our behalf, managing our presence at events like Armed Forces Day and country shows, coordinating volunteers, and helping to grow a programme that is actively expanding its national reach.

What you'll be doing

• Supporting community fundraisers - individuals, groups and volunteers - with materials, guidance and stewardship
