We are looking to recruit two Events Assistants who are looking to start their career in events and who can be a “can do” true all-rounder. Someone who has the ability to be focused on the details and deadlines demanded by event management as well as someone who has the relationship management experience of working and managing fundraising committees.

Job Title: Known internally as "Key Work Manager (Maternity Cover)"

Location: 30 Petworth Street, Battersea, SW11 4QW. The post will also involve working in the community so some local travel will be required.

About the Role

As Key Work Manager you will lead on and oversee all Key Work activity at Carney’s Community. This includes undertaking key work yourself on a one to one basis with young people involved in the criminal justice system as well as managing a small team of key workers.

You will provide advice, practical support and befriending to a caseload of participants, aged 11-30, who are at risk of/involved in offending; to encourage and enable them to participate in Carney’s Community’s personal development opportunities and to access the wider services and support they may need in order to give them the best chances of being “the best they can be”. This will involve supporting young people to engage in positive and constructive activities, attend Youth Justice Service or Probation appointments and creating opportunities for their personal, social and emotional development

You will work alongside the employment support manager to plan and deliver the employment group, supporting participants that attend this group and leading specific employment programmes. As manager of the key work project you will oversee the small team of key workers, provide support, guidance and supervision. You will be involved in monitoring and reporting for the project, collecting feedback from participants. You will manage referrals to the project from other organisations including schools, social services, probation and the youth justice service.

About You:

You must have proven experience of working directly with young people in a youth work or key work setting, providing one to one support. You will have the ability to empathise and mediate for young people, a strong understanding of the local area, barriers facing young people, the interplay between material disadvantage, vulnerability and social exclusion and be highly skilled in diplomacy, professional distance, demonstrating empathy, boundaries and sound judgement. You will have experience managing other staff or volunteers.

About Carney’s Community

We support young people living in and around Wandsworth, targeting ages 11-30 facing extreme challenges including criminal justice system involvement or care experience. Carney’s works differently by providing long-term, consistent, unconditional support with empathy; a safe space and activities including boxing, bike workshops, employment support, studio sessions, mentoring and key work. Inspired by boxing legend Mick Carney, the charity was founded in his name after his passing in 2011, building on work led by our co-founders. We aim to create a “virtuous cycle”: while support is free of charge, we ask that when young people are ready, they channel the positivity they have received into others. Working closely with the Head of Partnerships and Fundraising, we’re looking for a Corporate Partnerships Manager to join our small team at a critical growth point. We’re looking for someone to build and deliver on our Corporate Partnerships Strategy and lay the groundwork for long term, sustainable corporate income generation as part of our wider Fundraising Strategy.

This is a new role for someone with substantial experience working in corporate partnerships. We’re looking for someone with strong account management and new business skills who can take our fledgling portfolio of corporate supporters and transform it into formal, long-term partnerships generating at least c.£400K by the end of the first 3 years.

You will also have the commercial awareness to build partnerships that create genuine, shared value.

SARA is looking for a Sessional Helpline Worker to support our helpline and digital services by providing emotional support to survivors of sexual violence on at least one of our helpline and digital services shifts every two weeks. You will also be required to attend group clinical supervision once a month and attend our 'introduction to working with sexual violence' training (all supervision and training time will be paid for). You will follow safeguarding and confidentiality policies and procedures to ensure that our helpline and digital services provide safe, supportive and non-judgmental help for women who have experienced sexual violence.

Ability to speak additional languages is beneficial.

The Deputy Fitness Centre Manager is a role that is largely based on site (80:20 split) and the post holder will work a minimum of 14 hours per week at front of house, leading delivery. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and organised individual to join our Development team as a Fundraising & Development Intern. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across trusts and foundations fundraising, prospect research, donor stewardship and public fundraising campaigns.

• Support the preparation of Expressions of Interest (EOIs), funding applications and funding proposals.
• Assist with gathering project information, impact data and organisational content from colleagues across CSE to support fundraising submissions.
• Draft funding summaries, case studies and other written content to support fundraising activities.
• Support the coordination of introductory conversations and meetings with prospective funders and partners.

As a fully trained Homicide Family Caseworker you will be responsible for managing your own complex caseload to the highest quality standards.

You will need to be able to travel to home visits within Central London, and occasionally outside of area, and therefore this role involves regular travel and due to the location, a driving license and access to a vehicle is considered an essential requirement. Back Up supports people affected by spinal cord injury and their families to rebuild independence, confidence and a sense of purpose after injury. Through services delivered in spinal injury centres, hospitals, communities and through innovative digital platforms, the charity helps people to live the life they choose after spinal cord injury.

Reporting into the senior leadership team, the Head of Partnerships will lead a team of five colleagues across Trusts & Foundations, Corporate Partnerships and Special Events. The charity benefits from a well-established trusts programme, an engaged Development Board, strong existing relationships and a healthy fundraising pipeline. The opportunity now is to build on these solid foundations and unlock the significant growth potential that exists across the entire partnerships portfolio.

The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the next phase of fundraising growth, strengthening existing relationships, developing compelling partnership propositions and creating a more joined-up approach across trusts, corporates, special events and wider fundraising activity.

This is a highly visible leadership role requiring someone who can think strategically whilst remaining actively involved in relationship management, opportunity development and fundraising delivery. The successful candidate will be comfortable moving between development board-level discussions, team leadership and hands-on fundraising activity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and inspire the Partnerships team across Trusts & Foundations, Corporate Partnerships and Special Events.
• Develop and deliver ambitious fundraising plans that contribute to Back Up's target of growing income to £5m by 2030.
• Build and steward high-value relationships with trusts, foundations, statutory funders, corporate partners and senior stakeholders.
• Develop compelling funding propositions aligned to organisational priorities, service development and strategic objectives.
• Drive the growth of strategic partnerships and identify new opportunities for sustainable income generation.
• Work closely with colleagues across fundraising, communications and service delivery to maximise opportunities and strengthen collaboration.
• Engage effectively with Back Up's Development Board, leveraging networks and connections to unlock new relationships and opportunities.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• A strong track record of delivering growth within high-value fundraising, with significant experience in either Trusts & Foundations or Corporate Partnerships fundraising.
• Experience of leading, developing and motivating successful teams.
• Exceptional relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• The ability to identify and develop strategic fundraising opportunities.
• Strong proposition development skills and the ability to translate organisational priorities into compelling cases for support.

Is a specialist residential centre for mothers, their children and pregnant women where there are concerns about substance use, trauma, instability, safeguarding and/or parenting capacity.

Rated Good by both CQC and Ofsted, Jasmine Mother & Child brings together residential parenting assessment, recovery-focused interventions, safeguarding oversight and pregnancy support in one specialist setting.

About the role

This role focuses on providing a safe, structured setting where risks can be understood properly, support can be put in place, and parenting capacity can be assessed with the child’s safety at the centre.

As Registered Manager, you will lead the day-to-day delivery of this seven-bed residential family service, ensuring a safe, nurturing and trauma-responsive environment for women, children and staff.

What you will do

· You must meet Ofsted Registered Manager status requirements. You will have a good understanding of regulatory standards. You will liaise and cooperate with both regulators and be aware of relevant documentation.

· You will establish positive relationships and maintain effective communication with women, their children, and other involved professionals in their care while developing and implementing individually tailored care and support plans that respect and uphold the dignity and privacy of families living at Jasmine.

· Understand Safeguarding issues and the ability to respond appropriately to any concerns

· Model and maintain a trauma responsive workforce

· Maintain optimal occupancy

What you will bring

· Minimum 2 years' residential childcare experience within the last 5 years

· At least 1 year must be in a supervisory capacity

· NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare is required, or working towards or prepared to work towards within 6 months of appointment

·       Or Social Work England registration

· Sound working knowledge of Ofsted and current legislation.

· Ability to communicate appropriately with commissioners, funders, women using our services and a multi-disciplinary staff team.
