Camden People First is a user‑led organisation run by and for adults with learning disabilities. We promote independence, equality, and self‑advocacy across the London Borough of Camden. Our work centres on empowering people to speak up, make their own choices, and influence the services and policies that affect their lives.

This role supports our mission by helping adults with learning disabilities, build confidence, understand their rights, remove barriers and help them to take an active role in their community.

Role Purpose

To provide high‑quality, person‑centred advocacy for adults with learning disabilities, and neurodivergency in Camden. The Community Advocate helps individuals speak up, be heard, access services, challenge unfair treatment, and participate fully in decisions about their lives. The role also strengthens Camden People First’s presence in the community and supports our self‑advocacy groups.

As a Community Advocate, you will empower people to have a bigger voice, to be heard, and to be actively involved in decisions that affect their lives.

You will support individuals with issues including wellbeing and health, housing needs, accessing services, organising and attending meetings, and ensuring their rights are upheld.

Key Responsibilities

Advocacy & Empowerment

• Support adults with learning disabilities and neurodivergent) to express their views, wishes, and concerns in their own words.
• Provide independent advocacy during meetings, assessments, reviews, and care‑planning processes.
• Support people with a range of communication needs using accessible approaches (signs, symbols, photos, multimedia, etc).
• Help service users understand information and choices using accessible communication (Easy Read, plain English, visuals).
• Encourage and develop self‑advocacy skills so service users can speak up for themselves.
• Manage a caseload of up to 5 active cases at any time.
• Attend meetings and forums alongside service users.

Community Engagement

• Work in partnership with local services, including Camden Council Social Services, health providers, housing teams, and voluntary and community organisations.
• Promote the rights of people with learning disabilities across Camden.
• Support adults with learning disabilities to access community activities, employment, education, and social opportunities.

Casework & Representation

• Manage a caseload of individuals needing one‑to‑one advocacy.
• Attend multi‑agency meetings (such as MASH) to ensure the person’s voice is heard and respected.
• Challenge decisions or practices that undermine an adult with learning disabilities’ rights, wellbeing, or independence.

Safeguarding & Rights Protection

• Identify and report safeguarding concerns in line with Camden People First policies and statutory guidance.
• Promote the principles of the Mental Capacity Act, Care Act, Equality Act, and Human Rights Act and other legislation.
• Ensure all advocacy is independent, confidential, and led by the person.

Administration & Reporting

• Keep accurate case notes, outcome records, and monitoring information.
• Contribute to service evaluation, member feedback, and quality improvement.
• Support the development of accessible information and Easy Read materials.

Internal Relationships

Reports to the Director, with caseload-only supervision by the Volunteer Caseload Supervisor.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Level 4 Independent Advocacy qualification
• Experience working with people with learning disabilities or other vulnerable groups.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including accessible communication methods.
• Understanding of relevant legislation (MCA, Care Act, Equality Act).
• Ability to build trust, maintain boundaries, and work in a user‑led environment.

The role

As Head of Operations, you will lead delivery across the South West, working through a network of county teams and specialists. Your focus will be on strengthening our ability to deliver. You will work alongside teams to remove barriers, improve systems and step into delivery where needed helping to ensure work progresses and opportunities are achieved. Strategy and leadership

• Play a key role in developing and refining our income strategy to meet our organisational strategy and priorities

Hillside Clubhouse is a coproduced mental health charity based in Islington that works collaboratively with people with mental health conditions across Islington. We work with people wherever they are in their Recovery journey, supporting those with long-term and enduring conditions such as personality disorder and schizophrenia and people with more common mental health conditions like depression and anxiety.

This role will be focused on our growing work in Lewisham, a priority area for TU with high need, multi-year commitment from a range of partners, and incredible family engagement. Working alongside local schools, livery companies, and housing providers, the Programme Officer will be tasked with continuing to develop and expand our work in the borough, in line with our three-year strategic plan for the borough.

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic, creative, innovative team player to join our Young People and Families Service. This role will be based in Scotland, in our Glasgow office. This role will also support service delivery across the UK.

About the role 

We’re looking for a Senior Content Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. You’ll lead on all content across the organisation, including two blogs (our Career Advice blog for candidates and our Recruiter Insights blog for recruiters), our email and e-newsletter copy, sales collateral, product messaging, PR campaigns and anything else needing an expert editorial eye.

Job description 
What you’ll be working on: 

• Regularly planning and producing content for the CharityJob blogs. 

• Updating the content calendar with article revisions and new content in line with business needs, seasonal trends and sector updates.

• Continually monitoring and maintaining our existing blog content, including optimising performance, working with our external agency to fill content gaps and conducting keyword research to improve organic content reach. 

• Leading on SEO across the organisation, including managing our relationship with our external agency, acting on their recommendations and liaising with our in-house development team. 

• Working closely with the Senior CRM Manager to write copy for promotional and service emails and trigger campaigns. 

• Working closely with our external agency to manage digital PR campaigns to raise awareness of CharityJob and our products with trade, local and national press. 

• Editing product copy to make sure that the right messages and prompts appear in the right places and in the right tone of voice across our website and products to help achieve business objectives. 

• Producing supporting or customer-facing documents for our sales team. 

• Writing guides and other long-form content, and briefing designers to deliver a finished product. 

• Managing content produced for and with CharityJob’s partner organisations.

• Copyediting and proofreading copy and documents across the organisation. 
   

This job is for you if: 

• You understand the role of content marketing in the overall marketing strategy and customer journey. 

• You have excellent copywriting skills, particularly for email campaigns and landing pages. 

• You have a good knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics (AI search would be a bonus) 

• You can highlight key feature benefits in new software products and distil these into engaging content and copy. 

• You have excellent proofreading and copyediting skills and a keen eye for detail. 

• You’re used to successfully juggling multiple projects, working calmly under pressure and managing tight deadlines. 

• You have some experience of working with and managing third-party suppliers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

New Business

· Support the development of a new business pipeline by researching, approaching and engaging prospective corporate partners across a range of sectors

· Contribute to securing income through corporate sponsorships and donations, supporting Back Up’s services and special events

· Work closely with the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager to develop and tailor partnership propositions and offers

· Support the identification and securing of corporate sponsorship for Back Up special events

· Assist in securing gift in kind and pro bono support to help deliver the charity’s work

· Support the onboarding of new partners, including completing due diligence in line with Back Up’s ethical fundraising policy and assisting with partnership agreements and stewardship plans

Account Management

· Deliver high-quality relationship and account management for Legal Panel members and sponsors, supporting agreed engagement and stewardship plans

· Promote opportunities for partners and sponsors to increase their involvement and impact, including volunteering, fundraising, events, donations and grants

· Support delivery of Legal Panel and Sponsorship agreements, including coordinating meetings, attending events and ensuring strong partner visibility

· Produce and share clear reports and updates on activity, outcomes and impact with partners and sponsors

· Ensure partners and sponsors feel valued, informed and engaged, recognising the contribution they make to Back Up’s work

Collaboration and Promotion

· Build strong, positive working relationships across the organisation to support effective delivery of corporate fundraising plans

· Work with the Trusts and Foundations team to support applications to relevant corporate foundations, where appropriate

· Collaborate with the Public Fundraising team to ensure partner and sponsor engagement opportunities are shared and promoted

· Support the Services team by sharing relevant information and plans to help deliver strong partner relationships and high-quality experiences

· Work closely with the Communications team to ensure agreed partner promotion and recognition is delivered on time and to a high standard

· Attend networking events, partner events and Back Up special events to help steward existing relationships and support new opportunities

Operational and Planning

· Support reporting against team income targets, KPIs and forecasts to the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager

· Maintain and develop an accurate portfolio of prospects and partners using the corporate pipeline and CRM

· Contribute to annual plans and quarterly reviews, supporting ongoing improvement and shared learning

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Essential:

• Some experience in fundraising, partnerships, business development, sales, customer relationship or supporter engagement (paid or voluntary) or transferrable skills
• Evidence of supporting or contributing to new business activity, such as prospect research, outreach, pitching, or onboarding new relationships
• Experience assisting with the delivery or administration of partnerships, sponsorships or fundraising relationships or transferrable skills
• Confidence building positive relationships with external contacts and internal colleagues
• An understanding of the importance of stewardship, communication and donor/partner care
• Ability to work towards agreed targets or objectives, and to track progress against plans
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage time, juggle tasks and meet deadlines

Relationships Manager – Trusts and Appeals

Main Purpose of the Job

The Trusts and Appeals Relationships Manager’s job is to be the ‘go to’ person for trusts and grant making bodies who may support Treetops. They will generate income for Treetops by building strong and lasting relationships with existing and potential trust and grant giving organisation through submitting strong applications to them and reporting back to them in an effective way.

You will also run an appeal programme across channels including online, offline and post and liaise with suppliers and contractors. You’ll understand and define audiences, think creatively about how we can reach them, write compellingly about our services and those we support, and you’ll make our supporters feel really appreciated so they want to give again.

Primary Responsibilities

The post holder will:

· Develop, implement and continually evaluate the trust and grant application strategy to maximise potential income from both regular and new trusts and foundations.

· Understand the organisational funding needs including core funding, projects, and capital expenditure.

· Research potential trust funders (local, regional, national, and if appropriate international).

· Produce high quality trust applications – communicating Treetops’ funding needs in a clear, consistent way to potential trust funders through high quality funding applications.

The Communications Coordinator plays a key role in delivering LTSB’s external communications, with a strong focus on content creation, social media and digital engagement.

This includes creating social media assets, drafting copy and updating and maintaining the LTSB website. You’ll also be responsible for producing persuasive messaging and visual content to support the recruitment of young people onto our programmes and to engage employer partners.

You’ll provide hands-on support in delivering LTSB’s Communications Strategy by creating and helping to plan engaging, on-brand content that helps position the charity as a leading voice on social mobility and youth employment.

You’ll help bring LTSB’s impact to life by sharing the stories of the hundreds of young people we have supported into meaningful careers. This may include creating social and digital content, creating and editing video content, developing case studies, supporting award nominations and assisting with press or profile-building activity.

The role also supports LTSB’s commitment to youth voice and participation by coordinating our Alumni Innovation Committee, working with young people to ensure their perspectives are reflected in our communications and wider work.

The Regional Programme & Partnerships Manager plays a central role in leading and growing LTSB’s work across Birmingham. The role combines programme delivery, schools engagement, employer partnerships and youth employment support to create meaningful pathways into careers for young people from underrepresented backgrounds.

The postholder will be responsible for delivering LTSB’s Birmingham programme activity, including employment programmes, schools programme delivery and employer-led experiences, while also developing relationships with employers, schools, referral partners and community organisations that strengthen local impact. Working closely with colleagues across Programmes, Employment, Corporate Partnerships and Fundraising, the role will ensure a joined-up and high-quality experience for young people, employers and partners.

The role is suited to someone who is passionate about social mobility, confident delivering engaging programmes, skilled at building relationships and comfortable managing a varied workload across delivery, partnerships and regional development activity.
