Responsibilities of our Income Processing Team Leader

• To lead the team of Supporter Services Advisors, who are responsible for managing fundraising income processing, the efficient coding and allocation of fundraising income, and the accurate creation and maintenance of supporter records.
• This role will liaise with colleagues across the organisation to understand and develop governing principles of fundraising processing and administration of donations, to help deliver the best possible service to a wide range of customers, including supporters, staff and volunteers.

About the Supporter Services team:

• The Supporter Services team is part of the Cats Protection Marketing & Income Generation directorate.
• We answer queries from supporters about memberships, sponsorships, lotteries, raffles and donations. We also record and update the contact preferences of our supporters to ensure we only send communications which are wanted.

What we’re looking for in our Income Processing Team Leader:

• Demonstrable experience of line managing staff including setting objectives, managing performance, conduct, staff development, induction and training in line with organisational policies
• Experience of working in an income processing role, preferably within a fundraising environment
• Experience of developing, monitoring and maintaining recording systems and procedures
• IT literate – proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook and CRM databases (preferably Care or similar)

Role description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Arts & Engagement Coordinator to support with the delivery of our Hospital Arts Programme. We are looking for a passionate and motivated individual to work as part of the Arts Team.

This role will play a key part in delivering and developing Southampton Hospitals Charity’s arts programme across hospital sites. Acting as an ambassador for the Charity, you will represent the organisation, coordinate the day-to-day operation of the programme's activities, handle administrative tasks, and ensure smooth communication with staff, artists, and partner organisations. For someone trying to move forward after contact with the criminal justice system, safe housing can be the turning point that changes everything. As a Housing Advice Worker, you’ll be part of Single Homeless Project (SHP’s) Pan London Housing Advice and Interventions Service, delivered in partnership with St Mungo’s and the Ministry of Justice, helping people on probation find clearer, safer routes away from homelessness and housing crisis.

Based in Brent, with work connecting into designated London boroughs, you’ll work closely with Probation Services to support clients to sustain their current accommodation or secure new housing where needed. Day to day, you’ll hold a caseload, complete strengths-based assessments, explore housing, financial, employment and wider support needs, and build practical plans that turn pressure and uncertainty into clear next steps. You’ll also identify risks and safeguarding concerns, keep accurate case records, liaise with housing providers and specialist agencies, and work alongside partners such as probation and police to help people access accommodation and opportunities that are safe, realistic and sustainable.

Job Title: Support Mentor (FTC)

Location: Luton. Unfortunately, this service does not have step free access.

Salary: £26,220

Shift Pattern: Fixed Term/Part time contract until 2029. 24hours a week, Monday to Sunday on a rota which can range between 08:00 - 20:00 You may be required to work outside these hours dependent on service and resident requirements including weekends and bank holidays.

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated team to deliver person centred and bespoke trauma informed support to vulnerable women in Luton. This service will provide a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for women facing sexual exploitation and substance dependency – a place they can truly call home. Through stable, person-centred care, you'll play a vital role in empowering women to rebuild their lives and embrace brighter futures. 

In this role, as a Support Mentor, you will work within a 24 hour service which provided person centred support to our residents, working to ensure the safety and wellbeing. Our residents have experienced multiple forms of exclusion, such as historical/ongoing abuse, involvement in the criminal justice system, mental health challenges, drug and/or alcohol dependency and enduring high levels of violence and coercion. You will build trusting professional relationships with residents, helping them to achieve their goals and aspirations which could be through tailored one to one sessions, group sessions, in and out of service activities, and general wellbeing check ins. Your role will focus on empowering our residents to take control over their lives and meet their personal goals

 Responsibilities Include:

• Holding a caseload, conducting key work sessions which are personable to resident needs
• Carry out regular welfare checks, safeguarding checks, and general living checks
• Encourage residents to take part in activities and events both within the service and the community
• Keep support plans up to date on a regular basis
• Work closely with the rest of the team to provide overall excellent service delivery, this may mean also supporting with their caseloads, and other tasks as necessary
• Building trusting professional relationships with residents, helping them to achieve their goals and aspirations which could be through tailored one to one sessions, group sessions, in and out of service activities, and general wellbeing check ins.

About You

• Ability to promote the service and provide outreach-based provision, with an ability to liaise and work effectively in partnership with stakeholders
• Understanding of the different needs people with multiple and complex needs have and be aware of the social marginalisation that can be attached to people who face personal challenges

Our holiday and weekend activities give parents and carers a break while providing participants with a safe, welcoming space to have fun and receive the care they need. Our coordinators plan, arrange and deliver a programme of activities shaped around the needs of the young people, making the most of local opportunities, from heritage sites and outdoor adventures, to sports, arts and crafts, cooking, and team challenges. These sessions help children build friendships, grow in confidence, and express themselves in a fun, supportive space.

Family day activities bring families together to create special memories and enjoy time with others who share similar experiences. Coordinators develop and facilitate activity days which involve the whole family and provide opportunities to build friendships and connections with others. Activities take place at outdoor centres, local heritage sites and museums, as well as organised beach days and community centre-based workshops and activities.

Applicants should have relevant experience of working or volunteering with children and young people in education, health or social care, and have exceptional organisational and communication skills. 

Full and part-time positions available, and coordinators are required to work most Saturdays.  In school holiday periods, more activities take place on weekdays (instead of Saturdays), so flexibility is needed. Activities are delivered across Kent, so some travel is required.
