What you’ll do

As Senior Practice Tutor, you will support the delivery of the Postgraduate Certificate in Supervision for Children and Young People’s Mental Health and Wellbeing Services, helping trainee supervisors develop practical skills through teaching, practice groups, and assessment. You’ll play a key part in shaping future supervisors by facilitating learning, marking coursework, and providing personal tutoring within a collaborative academic and clinical environment.

What you’ll bring

Essential skills and experience:

• Recognised qualification in a core mental health profession and clinical training in evidence-based therapies for children and young people.
• Extensive clinical experience using CBT-informed approaches with children, young people, families, and neurodivergent individuals (including Autism and/or learning disabilities) in CAMHS or similar settings.
• Experience as a clinical supervisor and/or providing group supervision or facilitating reflective spaces for mental health professionals in CYP services.
• Teaching and assessment experience, including delivering training to adults and marking coursework.
• Strong collaborative skills to work flexibly in multidisciplinary settings, support students, and create an inclusive learning environment.

Key details

Hours: Part-time (120 hours per annum), must be available to work on Wednesdays during scheduled teaching sessions in term-time (typically one afternoon per month), with some flexibility at other times to accommodate marking and team meetings.

Salary: £52,000 per annum FTE, plus 6% contributory pension scheme.

Location: Hybrid working (a mixture of onsite and home/remote working). Staff are working onsite for at least 20% of their working hours at our London site (4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH). Flexibility will be required to attend in-person teaching days during term time.

Contract type: Permanent – up to 3 positions available (dependent on student uptake).

We're looking for a Mental Health Rehabilitation Worker to cover the night shift in our service based in Lewisham which offers specialist intensive rehabilitation for people who require more enhanced interventions than that which is offered by commissioned community services. We support residents who live with us for up to nine months and have been discharged from acute wards to avoid admission into inpatient rehabilitation. We support our residents to step down into less supported accommodation to become more independent and integrated into the community. 

In this role, you will ensure resident safety, wellbeing, and progress towards their recovery goals. You will support in creating an environment where they feel safe and empowered, and are building relationships with relevant partners and individuals key towards their journey. You will create support plans, plan and hold activities, and further support them to achieve greater independence. The night Shift plays a crucial role in continuing the high quality care provided during the day, ensuring a safe, respectful, and responsive environment for residents. night staff are expected to remain awake, alert, and actively engaged throughout their shift. Sleeping while on duty is strictly prohibited and may lead to disciplinary action, including dismissal for gross misconduct.

Some key responsibilities include:

• Providing night support and supervision across two nearby residential properties.

The starting salary for this role is £24,725 based on a 37 hour week.

We are seeking our first Head of Fundraising to join our Senior Leadership Team, build the function and leave a legacy.

Key responsibilities:

Strategy and Leadership

• Lead development and execution of a fundraising strategy focused on trusts,foundations and corporates (with a possible addition of individual philanthropy further down the line).
• Act as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to organisational strategy, planning and culture, and supporting the Chief Executive to report to the board on fundraising.
• Manage, develop and grow the Senior Officer role; build a high-performing team.

Fundraising and Relationship Management

• Create and manage a pipeline of funding opportunities, securing multi-year grants and strategic partnerships that support our research, policy and delivery ambitions, and reflect our values.
• Lead the development of major funding bids - including drafting proposals and coordinating input from SLT colleagues and other relevant team members.
• Cultivate, steward and deepen relationships with existing and prospective funders, acting as a confident and credible ambassador.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues to develop strong proposals, cases for support and pitch materials, including engaging in depth with some of the complex research that we seek to fund.
• Represent the organisation externally — in meetings, networks and events.

Innovation, Growth and Sustainability

• Develop and test models to diversify income to enable impact – building on our current strategy, but bringing an open mind to exploring new activities.
• Embed fundraising monitoring, evaluation and performance reporting into the organisation; ensure transparency with senior leadership and trustees.
• Maintain close alignment between fundraising strategy and organisational strategy, ensuring funder relationships are ethical, values-aligned and sustainable.

Essential

• A proven track record of securing significant income from trusts, foundations and/or corporate partners.
• Experience in managing complex relationships with funders, with excellent stewardship and retention skills.
• Experience of running reliable due diligence processes to assess funding opportunities.
• Able to translate research, policy or innovation-led programmes into compelling funding propositions.
• Excellent project management skills, including the capacity to coordinate colleagues in developing complex fundraising bids.
• Some experience of line management, team development or mentoring.
• Excellent written, verbal and influencing skills, able to engage funders, senior leaders and colleagues.
• Strategic mindset, with capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
• A genuine passion for the mission of the Money and Mental Health Policy Institute, and the empathy to engage with lived experience perspectives.
• Alignment with our collaborative and flexible working culture — able to work in a high-trust environment, collaborate openly with colleagues across multiple teams and contribute positively to team wellbeing and culture.

Desirable

• Experience of major donor fundraising, or exploring new income streams.
• Experience of reporting to a board, including of producing high level board papers and working with high profile stakeholders.
• Knowledge or networks within the essential services, health, research, policy or grant-giving sectors.

Terms:

• Reporting to: Chief Executive
• Staff supervised: One team member, who we hope you will be able to be involved in recruiting
• Annual Gross Salary: £64,800 (employees who are not London-based receive the same salary, including London weighting, but cover their own travel costs to the office, typically twice a month)
• Location: Either London-based, with two days per week in Money and Mental Health’s East London office, or home-based with the ability to travel to London at least twice per month. The role will also require some travel for meetings.
• Hours: Both full-time and part-time applicants considered, at a minimum of four days per week. Job shares, consolidated hours and other flexible working arrangements will be considered. Please indicate your preferred working hours on application.
• Contract type: Permanent
• Holidays: 28 days per year (including 3 days between Christmas and New Year when the office is closed), plus bank holidays
• Pension: Opportunity to be enrolled in the workplace pension scheme (subject to meeting standard auto-enrolment qualifying criteria). After enrolment, the charity contributes the equivalent of 5.5% of monthly gross salary, subject to an employee contribution of at least 2.5%.

Look Ahead's Hammersmith & Fulham Mental Health Service is a Mental Health supported accommodation which is a pathway service for people to work towards their independence.

As a Support Worker, you will play a key role in supporting our residents to help them to enhance life skills and increase independence and manage their health. This also includes tenancy management and other life skills.

Support Workers in the service work across all 3 projects in Hammersmith and Fulham; working with customers with varying levels of support needs. Many of the customers have complex needs including dual diagnosis and Support Workers are expected to liaise with other agencies within the borough to best support customers. Support Workers are expected to support customers on their journey to independence in a person-centred, non-judgemental way, whilst adhering to the Look Ahead core values.

The work schedule for this position follows a 5-week rotating pattern. It involves working on weekends and bank holidays. In this 5-week cycle, there are two weekends off and one full weekend of work.

Join the innovative Bolton Listening Lounge, providing adults in Bolton with mental health and wellbeing support. Working in partnership with Greater Manchester Mental Health Foundation Trust and Family Action, the Bolton Listening Lounge is a collaborative approach to providing mental health and wellbeing support from late afternoon into the evening. It provides a safe space for people who are experiencing mental distress or who feel that they are going through a personal crisis. Our staff will offer low level calming interventions and one to one support to identify the cause of the emotional distress and to put in place a plan including signposting and referring on to other organisations and services.

We are looking for someone with knowledge and understanding of Mental Health conditions and their impact on daily living, with a strong track-record of working with individuals and their families to deliver positive outcomes. You will provide leadership to a small team of Support, Time and Recovery workers and demonstrate a commitment to a one team approach. You will have demonstrable experience of supporting staff or volunteers in their role and aptitude for managing professional relationships.

You will have a strong track record in service delivery and a focus on quality, performance, safeguarding and management controls. With a client-facing approach, you will be passionate about engaging our service users in all aspects of our work including co-production.
