The Senior Finance Assistant and Payroll Administrator will provide financial administrative support for the Finance Team, and the payroll function for the organisation, allowing appropriate information to be provided to stakeholders at all times.

You will support the implementation of our Finance strategy and have empathy for the work of Teesside Hospice.

You will assist in providing a communication link between the Finance Department and other departments who rely on robust support.

You will work closely with the Financial Controller to ensure the effective day to day operation of your duties, thus allowing The Financial Controller to prepare timely, complete and accurate management accounts. A large element of the role involves taking the lead on the purchase ledger system. The role also involves other aspects such as daily logging of donations, weekly reconciliation of lottery membership records, bank reconciliations, submitting Gift Aid claims and more outlined in the duties section.

You will lead in preparing, running and finalising the payroll for companies in the Teesside Hospice group. You will be the payroll link between the Finance Department and other departments who rely on our support. You will work closely with the Financial Controller and Group Director of Resources to ensure the effective day to day operation of the payroll, thus allowing for accuracy of payments to staff alongside meeting all of the necessary regulatory requirements i.e. apprenticeship levy, SMP, auto enrolment.

You will be highly organised and able to work to deadlines, working independently as well as collaborating as part of a team.  An enjoyment and appreciation for attention to detail is essential.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced administrator to provide efficient administrative support to the Training, Learning and Assessment team, ensuring that trainer, assessor and programme administration is accurate, up to date and well organised. This role is central to the effective administration of the Training, Learning and Assessment function. The postholder will provide practical day-to-day support to help ensure that trainers and assessors receive timely information, accurate documentation and well-coordinated administrative processes.

PCN Cancer Care Coordinator

About the Role

We are excited to recruit a PCN Cancer Care Coordinator to support people living with cancer across the Clifton and The Meadows Primary Care Network in Nottingham.

This role is central to delivering a holistic, person‑centred cancer care coordination service, supporting patients beyond clinical treatment and ensuring their wider emotional, practical and social needs are met. • Acting as a single point of access for non‑clinical cancer support
• Referring and signposting patients to appropriate voluntary and community services
• Working closely with GP practices to ensure reviews are recorded on NHS systems
• Supporting work to increase cancer screening uptake, especially within targeted communities

About the role

The Doncaster Therapeutic Service is based within therapeutic services in the Resettlement Team in South Yorkshire. The Resettlement team provides advice and support for resettled refugees to help them access services and mainstream provision and establish community links. Working closely with local stakeholders and in partnership with other voluntary sector agencies, the Refugee Council Resettlement team promotes both the integration and independence of this group.

The Psychological Therapist role is designed to provide one-to-one psychological therapy to resettled refugees presenting with mental distress. We have adopted a psychosocial perspective and use a specially tailored care model to address the needs of our clients. The team have supported resettled adult refugees in South Yorkshire by providing short-term one-to-one therapeutic support since September 2017.

FTWW is looking for a Communications Coordinator! The successful candidate will develop and grow the organisation’s online platform, including sharing information, resources and signposting within FTWW’s pan-Wales virtual peer support community and beyond.

The role is full-time (0.8 FTE considered for the right candidate), home-based within Wales, with occasional travel to events and meetings, so a driving licence and access to a car would be an advantage. We work flexibly, but core working hours are between 10am-4pm, and the successful candidate will be expected to work some evening and weekends, as required.

We are a small but mighty charity where no two days are the same. You may be involved in promoting a focus group to our members one day and meeting with a journalist the next. We currently have over 100 registered volunteers and over 2000 members of our online community, and you will work closely with our Volunteer & Community Coordinator to ensure that our members are at the heart of what we do.

The ability to speak Welsh, or a willingness to learn, is desirable.

Successful applicants will need to complete a basic DBS check and provide references before any offer of employment is made.

Our centres provide a high-impact education programme which includes practical learning support, pastoral care, and motivational and confidence-building activities for young people aged 7-18. As the UK’s leading university access organisation, our staff team is helping over 60,000 young people each year at its 46 learning centres and extension projects across England and Scotland, and we plan to scale-up our provision to 50 centres over the coming years.

We are looking for someone who will enjoy working each day with young people and who will thrive in a frontline, community-based, fast-paced and rewarding role. You will be taking up a fixed-term contract as an Education Worker at our centre in Craigmillar (Edinburgh).

The role at a glance

Contract: Part-time, fixed-term until 28th August 2026

Working hours

18.75 hours a week:

• Wednesday: 09:00-17:30

• Thursday: 09:30-18:00

• Friday: 09:00-12:45

 (Some out-of-hours work will be required from time to time - for example, early starts to deliver workshops in schools.)

Education Workers are based at one of our IntoUniversity learning centres and work directly with young people, schools and families on a daily basis. It is therefore not a hybrid role and is based full-time in our centres.

£28,250 per annum (pro rata)

Pro-rated salary is £14,125 per annum for 18.75 hours per week.

The role requires intermittent travel in your region (usually within the day) this can involve journeys times of 1 hour+. Occasional travel out of your local area e.g. to London is also required, this may include overnight stays.

The main duties of the role

Centre Re-location

IntoUniversity Craigmillar is moving to a new centre location so a large part of this role will be to help the team with this move. This will include:

• To prepare and set-up, with the centre team, the centre space including preparing resources and organising tables and chairs as necessary.

• Moving furniture and building new furniture to furnish the space

• Create  IntoUniversity displays for the centre.

Additional Responsibilities

• To work with your team to plan and with the opportunity to deliver IntoUniversity programmes, including leading a group of 30 secondary students from the front, working with whole classes of primary-aged children and providing occasional one-to-one support.

• To play an active role in your regional cluster of centres, including sharing resources and supporting a new team member.

• The opportunity to  lead delivery of  IntoUniversity programmes effectively to children and young people in different settings, including schools-based workshops, Academic Support sessions and educational visits. This includes positive behaviour management and adherence to the IntoUniversity safeguarding policy.

• To assist with the organisation and delivery of the Academic Support, FOCUS and Mentoring Programmes.

• To champion diversity and inclusion at all times, referring to the Diversity and Inclusion staff responsibilities guide.

• To work with IntoUniversity Centre Leaders to recruit children and young people to the programme, including after-school Academic Support and FOCUS Weeks.

• To develop educational resources and worksheets for use across all IntoUniversity programmes.

• To ensure compliance with all necessary regulations and legal requirements, including the Children’s Act, Children and Young People (Scotland) Act, Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act, Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act, and legislation and policies related to Equal Opportunities and Health & Safety.

• To undertake any task that may be requested from time to time that may be consistent with the nature and scope of this post.

Communications & Engagement Coordinator

We’re looking for someone with strong writing skills, confidence working across digital channels and an interest in student engagement, communications and storytelling.

You’ll support the delivery of clear, effective and engaging communications that help students better understand and connect with the Guild’s work.

Contributing to communications activity across a range of channels, you’ll helping showcase student voice, campaigns and organisational impact through accessible and audience-focused content. The role includes supporting internal communications, proactive PR activity and translating complex topics into clear and engaging messaging for student audiences.

Working with staff and student Officers, you’ll support the planning and delivery of campaigns, identify opportunities to improve engagement and contribute to a joined-up approach to communications across the organisation. You’ll also help protect and strengthen the Guild’s reputation through clear, responsible and consistent communications.
