It is an exciting and important time to be joining us at Crisis. We work with thousands of people across England, Scotland, and Wales so they can leave homelessness behind for good. We have recently adapted the way our services work to maximise our impact in ending homelessness.

Job Title: Senior Practitioner Psychologist (internally this role is known as Senior Skylight Psychologist) or Practitioner Psychologist (internally known as Skylight Psychologist)

The Skylight Psychologist role is offered as a development opportunity for candidates in the first 18 months post qualification. There would be the opportunity to progress to the Senior Skylight Psychologist role when they meet the relevant clinical and leadership competencies, in line with Crisis’ Preceptorship Framework.

Qualifications: You must be a Practitioner Psychologist registered with the HCPC. For the Skylight Psychologist role, we will consider applications from individuals due to complete doctoral training.

Hours: Part-time 14 hours per week, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Salary: Full-time and part-time (14hours per week) salaries are as follows:

• Skylight Psychologist, qualified within the last 18 months:
  • £50,757 per annum FTE (part-time £20,302)
• Senior Skylight Psychologist:
  • 18 months to 4 years qualified - £58,364 per annum FTE (part-time £23,345)
  • 5 to 7 years qualified - £60,454 per annum FTE (part-time £24,181)
  • 8+ years qualified - £64,504 per annum FTE (part-time £25,801)

Location: Crisis Skylight London 50 – 52 Commercial Street, E1 6LT This is a primarily onsite role, so you can support our members and team face to face, but some homeworking may be an option in line with Crisis’ Hybrid Working Policy.

About the role

We are committed to ending the homelessness of more people using our direct services, including people with complex needs. To do this, we are seeking a part-time Practitioner Psychologists to join our fantastic team in Crisis Skylight London.

You will form part of the local Leadership team, supporting the implementation of Psychologically Informed Environments (PIEs). You will support the delivery of our work to members by offering training and leading reflective practice for staff and providing direct services to members at times.

You will also be a part of a national psychology team made up of a Lead Clinical Psychologist, a Regional Lead Clinical Psychologist and nine Practitioner Psychologists as well as Trainee Clinical Psychologists on placements.

At Crisis, we understand more and more Practitioner Psychologists are taking on multiple part-time opportunities within the NHS, academia, private practice and the third sector as this has been the case with our own team. Crisis and our members have benefited from employing people with a variety of different work experience. This an opportunity for you to work within an agile and progressive charity where you can influence psychologically informed ways of working to end homelessness for good.

You will join an extraordinary team of frontline lead workers with a focus on people facing homelessness who have survived a range of difficult and traumatic experiences.

We are looking for someone with post qualification experience of working within complex systems and you may have direct experience of working with people who experience homelessness.

Overall Purpose

Duties Responsibilities

• Organise and conduct required maintenance at all Baca sites. The below list is not exhaustive but some of the below skills will be required to fulfil the role; General Plumbing; bathroom and kitchen plumbing repairs, blocked toilets & sinks etc, Painting and Decorating, Basic carpentry skills, Meter Reading for electricity and gas meters, Fire Testing; routine testing of smoke and CO alarms.
• To become familiar and actively use the Baca’s maintenance management system which aids the reactive and planned works across all sites.

• Support in the setting-up and closing down of properties and rooms between moves.
• Administering the setup and set-down of rooms for young people moves between Baca properties, ensuring the rooms are ready for new young people.
• Ensuring the office and car parks are clean and tidy, ensuring visitor experience is positive, professional, welcoming, friendly and helpful.
• Assist the Premises Manager and Finance Manager with year-end Fixed Assets verification.
• Supporting with other administrative activities in line with the team needs.

Baca is looking for someone who can help the organisation with the housing maintenance and day to day function of all properties it houses young people in and our offices. The successful applicant will be motivated and passionate about the work that Baca does and the young people in our care. They will be very approachable and enjoy working on their own as well as part of a team and supporting others. The successful applicant will need access to transport as the role requires travel between the properties that Baca manages including the transportation of items to the properties.

Job Purpose

Grandmentors Wolverhampton is a well-established and successful project that has been connecting mature volunteers with care experienced young people since 2019. As Project Coordinator, you will lead the core programme while heading up our brand new ‘Through the Gates’ pilot, which provides vital support for young people transitioning from custody back into the community. Your role is to foster high impact mentoring relationships while ensuring clear professional boundaries are maintained, complementing the work of our statutory partners in the Local Authority.

Key Responsibilities:

· Project Coordination: Lead the day-to-day delivery of Grandmentors in Wolverhampton, ensuring the project meets match targets for both the core service and the new pilot.

· Volunteer Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise a dedicated team of mentors, ensuring they feel supported and understand how their role fits alongside other professional services.

· Boundary Management: Act as the key link to statutory leads, such as Social Workers or Personal Advisors, ensuring support remains mentor-led and escalating any professional concerns appropriately.

· Partnership Working: Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with the Local Authority and other relevant partners.

· Safety & Compliance: Oversee risk assessments and strictly follow safeguarding procedures to ensure the safety of our volunteers and the young people we support.

· Impact Reporting: Use our CRM system to track progress and collate data for annual reports and meetings that demonstrate the project’s impact to our stakeholders.

Helpline Team Leader (Full Time)

The Helpline provides advice, information and signposting to people experiencing mental health difficulties, their families, professionals and the wider public.

Our client is looking for people who can work under pressure, remain calm and have excellent communication skills. As team leader to the helpline, you will provide support to a team of helpline workers and volunteers alongside taking calls.

Their Helpline positions are office based at the Erdington location. The Helpline operates between the hours of 9am to 11pm, seven days a week and 365 days a year. Employees work on a rota basis, which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Shifts are 9am to 5pm and 3pm to 11pm. This is an on-site role, and no hybrid working is available.

About the role 

We're looking for a proactive, organised and relationship-focused Partnership Officer to join our growing Brand & Corporate Partnerships team. 

Working closely with and supported by the Head of Brand & Corporate Partnerships, you will play a vital role in identifying and securing new brand partnerships, nurturing existing relationships, and helping to deliver ambitious income and impact targets. 

Our partners range from emerging challenger brands to nationally recognised businesses like Boots UK. They support our work through financial contributions, product donations, employee fundraising, volunteering, awareness campaigns and skills-based support.

Job Description  

The Partnership Officer will be a key member of The Hygiene Bank’s income generation team and wider central team, with a responsibility to help meet the needs of our existing partnerships and support in fulfilling the charity’s income generation plans and strategy. 

Key Responsibilities 

You will support the management of our brand partners, working with the Head of Brand and Corporate Partnerships. Your role will be to source new brand relationships, set up meetings for the team and support existing brand partnerships. 

• Work closely with the Head of Brand and Corporate Partnerships to identify and outreach to target brand partners, working to engage their support for the charity

• Account management of new and existing partners 

• Meticulous record keeping, ensuring the pipeline and the opportunity database are current and up to date.

• Contribute to the organisation and team's annual plans, strategies, and budgets. 

• Develop, monitor, and maintain systems and processes including Salesforce and account management plans. 

• Assist with the creation of marketing materials, such as newsletters, brochures, and partner impact reports.

You have responsibility for leading the work area of Land Crops including all the planning for crop rotations, growing and care of the land and soil.  

Who are we looking for?

This role is about both growing and people. Growing-wise, you will be enthusiastic and knowledgeable about growing a range of vegetable and fruit crops on at least a smallholding scale. Our ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of organic growing and/or some experience of it. In addition to good knowledge and experience of growing, we’re looking for someone who thrives on enabling and supporting others with a range of skills and abilities to learn and develop. You must be able to build genuine connections with the people you work alongside, be able to think holistically about people and take responsibility for the team’s welfare whilst at work. Finally, the responsibilities of this role need you to have excellent organisation skills, an understanding of, and ability to ensure, that documents and records are completed using our IT system, and supportive people management skills.

The Site Coordinator will be solely responsible for delivering events at this stunning Grade I listed church. From the initial enquiry through to final delivery, they will oversee the planning and coordination of third-party hires, ensuring every detail is handled with care and precision while providing seamless and functional hires of this wonderful historical building. Working alone, the Site Coordinator will ensure there is continued access to the building for community groups and hirers, whilst overseeing all aspects of the day to day administration of the venue; This includes site operations, record keeping, event management, hire marketing and site presentation.
