Salary: £26,848 - £31,439 per annum, depending on experience

About the role

This is a hands-on role where you'll take responsibility for coordinating and maximising digital channels, including website, email and paid-for ads. With a focus on understanding SEO optimisation and Google ads, you'll use analytics and insights to improve digital engagement and impact.

Of course, you'll be coordinating and designing engaging creative copy as part of this role, but we aren't looking for just a content creator. This role requires a digital-first approach, grounded in data, analytics and insight, to drive awareness, engagement and action.

There's real scope to make this role your own and an opportunity for professional development and career growth down the line.

About you

You may be a digital marketing specialist already, or a marketing generalist with a keen interest to move into the digital space.

First and foremost, we're looking for someone with an analytical and data-driven approach to marketing. Someone who understand results are driven by the quality of the insight and information you have at your fingertips.

You’ll carry out key administrative tasks, growing the support and development function of the Charity. This is an exciting opportunity to help Cambridge City Foodbank realise its vision of ending the need for foodbanks, through an ambitious strategy operating through networks of affordable food clubs, foodbank welcome centres, holistic support projects, and campaigning to change current systems which contribute to food insecurity.

Your tasks will include stewardship communications with individual donors and creating assets for community supporters to generate food and financial resources. You will assist the securing of income from grant giving trusts and foundations, and will undertake key executive assistant duties on behalf of the Development Director and CEO.

Main Duties:

● Develop strong individual donor relations through regular stewardship communications and powerful fundraising appeals, alongside establishing the associated data and systems;

● Create community development assets, which enables community groups to engage with and provide resources for the Charity, such as for charitable fundraising / food donation events.

● Together with the Development Director and CEO, secure income from, and maintain relations with grant giving trusts and foundations.

● Together with the Development Director and CEO, develop a team of volunteers who can support the work of the Charity’s development function.

● Support the Development Director and CEO, in their communication with supporters and corporate partners, to build good relations, gain and maintain corporate partner support.

● Liaise with colleagues across the Trussell Trust network; sharing best practice and participating in learning opportunities, to further the work of Cambridge City Foodbank.

● Other administrative activities may be requested from time to time by the CEO and Development Director, consistent with the needs of the Charity and role of Executive Assistant.

Personal Specification:

Technical skills and minimum knowledge:

● Strong administrative experience, highly organised, and able to effectively juggle multiple administrative tasks at the same time!

● Competent in the use of Zoom/Teams and MS Office software. Training will be provided to upskill in the use of Canva, Mailchimp, donor databases and social media (such as LinkedIn and Instagram).

● Excellent written and verbal communication and relationship management skills, you will inspire and motivate existing and prospective supporters, providing excellent stewardship and crafting compelling donor updates, applications and appeals.

NB. Experience of charitable fundraising is not essential when demonstrating the strong transferable skills above. Training will be provided.

The Brent Centre for Young People is the leading mental health charity for young people in Northwest London, helping over 750 young people a year with a wide range of issues. We offer specialised treatment in the areas of depression, suicide prevention, tackling self-harm, eating disorders, exam anxiety and more. Our approach is rooted in psychoanalytic psychotherapy. In this exciting new role, you will play a key part in growing and sustaining our income from trusts and foundations. Accommodation Support Worker(Future Roots 2 Project)

JOB DESCRIPTION
Fundraising and supporter engagement

• Engage and support individuals, communities and local businesses to fundraise for Duchenne UK, providing outstanding stewardship and care throughout their journey.
• Recruit participants for both ‘run your own’ and third-party challenge events (runs, cycles, walks, skydives, etc.), developing long-term relationships with supporters – including families directly connected to the Duchenne community.
• Manage and grow Duchenne UK’s community fundraising programme, including in-memory giving, birthday fundraisers, and local community initiatives.
• Respond promptly to fundraising enquiries and proactively inspire new audiences to get involved.
• Project-manage a calendar of third-party challenge events, overseeing logistics, communications, and participant stewardship from sign-up through to completion.
• Identify and develop new community and virtual event opportunities to grow income and reach new audiences.
• Recruit, support, and motivate volunteers to assist with events and community fundraising activity.
• Work with the communications team to promote events and community fundraising across digital channels and social media.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential experience:

• At least 2 years’ experience in a fundraising, events, or community engagement role within the charity sector.
• A proven track record of meeting income targets and growing a supporter base.
• Experience engaging and supporting a diverse range of fundraisers including individuals, schools, community groups, and local businesses.
• Experience recruiting, supporting, and motivating volunteers.

Essential skills and attributes:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a wide range of supporters.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

We are looking for two Consultants to join our Faith & Society team. These roles will support the delivery of projects focused on public affairs, faith engagement and social change. You will work with partners across politics, civil society, business and faith communities, and will contribute to research, stakeholder engagement, project coordination and client delivery. You will also help build relationships across a wide range of organisations and communities 

Location: The role is based primarily remotely, but you must be willing and able to work regularly (one day per week minimum) from our London office, which is near to Parliament. You must also be able to travel to Bristol and/or Reading once a month for a team meeting, for which expenses will be covered.

Responsibilities

The Consultants’ main responsibilities will be to support and own parts of GFP projects by:

As Fundraising Executive, you will be responsible for growing income and awareness across Worcestershire by developing meaningful relationships with supporters, volunteers, community groups, schools, and local businesses.

Working closely with the Community Fundraising Manager and wider fundraising team, you will help deliver regional fundraising plans, identify new opportunities, and provide exceptional supporter stewardship to maximise engagement and long-term loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with supporters, community groups, schools, and local businesses.
• Develop and manage a pipeline of fundraising opportunities, including identifying new prospects and re-engaging previous supporters.
• Deliver excellent supporter stewardship, ensuring individuals and groups feel valued and connected to the charity's impact.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• A confident communicator with excellent relationship building skills.
• Experienced in customer service, fundraising, sales, community engagement, or stakeholder management.
• Self-motivated, organised, and capable of managing a varied workload independently.
• Comfortable presenting to groups and acting as an ambassador for a charitable cause.
• Experienced in working towards targets and achieving measurable outcomes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and database/CRM systems.
• Flexible and willing to work occasional evenings and weekends to support events and community activities.
