We have a fantastic opportunity for a Government, Multilateral and Climate Funding Manager to join Christian Aid, a global movement working to end poverty and injustice, supporting communities around the world to create lasting change. Reporting to the Partnerships and Business Development Lead, this is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in securing multi-million-pound funding partnerships that will help drive Christian Aid's climate justice and international development ambitions.

As part of this exciting role, you will lead the development of strategic relationships with government, multilateral and climate funding partners, including major bilateral donors, UN agencies and global climate funds. You will build and manage a strong pipeline of funding opportunities, lead complex bids and proposals, and work collaboratively with teams across the organisation to secure significant multi-year grants. You will also help position Christian Aid as a leading partner in climate finance, supporting programmes focused on adaptation, resilience, loss and damage, and nature-based solutions, ultimately maximising both income generation and global impact.

To be successful as the Government, Multilateral and Climate Funding Manager, you will need:

  • A proven track record of securing multiple multi-million-pound grants and managing complex institutional funding opportunities.
  • Significant knowledge and experience of government, multilateral or climate funding mechanisms, including humanitarian and international development donor funding.
