We’re looking for a Supporter Services Team Leader to help make sure every donation, every supporter record and all internal fulfilment is handled with accuracy, care and efficiency.

This is an opportunity to join an ambitious charity to play a key role in the operations team behind our fundraising success. This is a full-time role based at our Chelsea office, with occasional travel to Sutton. The working pattern for this role is 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home, helping to balance team collaboration with focused time for reporting, data quality work and process improvement.

What you’ll be doing

As our Supporter Services Team Leader, you’ll oversee the day-to-day running of the team and help deliver a high-quality, responsive service across income processing, supporter administration and operational support.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing and supporting a small Supporter Services team on a day-to-day basis
• Overseeing the accurate and timely processing of donations, Gift Aid and supporter data
• Maintaining strong operational controls and high standards of data accuracy
• Reviewing, improving and documenting processes to increase efficiency and reduce risk
• Monitoring team performance and helping ensure KPIs and service standards are met
• Training, coaching and developing team members, including staff and volunteers
• Supporting the effective use of fundraising systems and helping identify improvements
• Ensuring compliance with GDPR, Gift Aid requirements and cash handling processes

About you

About this job

The Head of Experience is a senior cross-organisational leadership role building and leading a new Experience function at the heart of the Engagement and Income Generation directorate.

It exists to change how the organisation understands and responds to the people it exists for. That means identifying where experiences can be improved and creating the conditions to act on it.

The postholder will drive cross-functional collaboration so that audience insight and data consistently inform strategic decisions. They will create the systems and governance that turn insight into action across the breadth of MS experience.

Role Overview:

The Warehouse & Procurement Manager is responsible for leading the safe, efficient and compliant operation of Hackney Foodbank’s warehouse and logistics functions. The role oversees stock management, procurement, facilities, vehicle operations, staff and volunteer coordination, and operational planning to ensure uninterrupted food distribution across Hackney.

As a senior leader within Hackney Foodbank, the postholder will contribute to organisational planning, continuous improvement, and the development of systems and partnerships that support the charity’s mission to create a hunger-free Hackney.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsibility for the successful day-to-day management of the food bank warehouse.
• Line management of two warehouse staff, janitorial, and food distribution drivers.

You will support people of all genders affected by gender-based abuse and help shape a service built around prevention, creativity, and community voice. The ethos of the service is to ensure that we are front facing and out in the community to meet clients in spaces that are safe and accessible, as well as our offices.

The Role

We are looking for three people in total:

2 x IGVAs: You will work directly with people in community settings, carrying out risk and needs assessments, creating safety plans, and using trauma-informed and coaching approaches. You’ll be part of a fast-paced, dynamic team working in new and flexible ways.

1 x ISVA: You will work with individuals impacted by sexual abuse and VAWG.

About the role

As our Philanthropy Officer, you will support the delivery of our major donor programme, helping to steward a committed community of donors and ensuring that relationships, communications and records are managed accurately and professionally.

This is an exciting opportunity to help Cambridge City Foodbank realise its vision of ending the need for foodbanks, through an ambitious strategy operating through networks of affordable food clubs, foodbank welcome centres, holistic support projects, and campaigning to change current systems which contribute to food insecurity.

Your tasks will include stewardship communications with individual donors and creating assets for community supporters to generate food and financial resources. You will assist the securing of income from grant giving trusts and foundations, and will undertake key executive assistant duties on behalf of the Development Director and CEO.

Main Duties:

● Develop strong individual donor relations through regular stewardship communications and powerful fundraising appeals, alongside establishing the associated data and systems;

● Create community development assets, which enables community groups to engage with and provide resources for the Charity, such as for charitable fundraising / food donation events.

Personal Specification:

Technical skills and minimum knowledge:

● Strong administrative experience, highly organised, and able to effectively juggle multiple administrative tasks at the same time!

● Competent in the use of Zoom/Teams and MS Office software. Training will be provided to upskill in the use of Canva, Mailchimp, donor databases and social media (such as LinkedIn and Instagram).

● Excellent written and verbal communication and relationship management skills, you will inspire and motivate existing and prospective supporters, providing excellent stewardship and crafting compelling donor updates, applications and appeals.

NB. Experience of charitable fundraising is not essential when demonstrating the strong transferable skills above. Training will be provided.

About the Role

We’re looking for an Individual Giving Officer to join our fundraising team and play a key role in growing our supporter base and income.

This is a brilliant opportunity to shape how we connect with supporters—building meaningful relationships, delivering impactful campaigns and helping to generate vital income that supports young people across Hertfordshire.

The role is offered on a full-time basis (37 hours, with 30 hours considered) and includes hybrid working.

You’ll lead on individual giving, from attracting new supporters to nurturing long-term relationships, ensuring every donor feels valued and inspired.

Your work will directly contribute to raising vital funds (with a target of £100k), helping us continue delivering life-changing support to young people facing homelessness.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll have a varied and creative role, including:

• Leading the delivery of our Individual Giving income stream, including donor acquisition, retention and stewardship
• Building and managing strong relationships with supporters, ensuring excellent and personalised supporter care
• Developing and delivering engaging campaigns, appeals and communications across email, digital and direct channels
• Creating and improving supporter journeys to enhance engagement and long-term support
• Using CRM data (Donorfy/Beacon) to segment audiences, generate insights and inform activity
• Monitoring performance, reporting on income and identifying opportunities for growth
• Supporting the delivery of seasonal campaigns and fundraising appeals
• Collaborating with colleagues to ensure consistent messaging and impactful storytelling
• Working with digital colleagues to maximise online engagement
• Ensuring communications are compliant, accurate and aligned with our values (including GDPR and Gift Aid)

• Supporting wider fundraising activity and contributing ideas for continuous improvement

Knowledge of the voluntary sector, digital tools (e.g. Canva, Hootsuite) or youth homelessness is helpful but not essential—we welcome transferable skills and a willingness to learn.

BCYP has historically been very successful in raising funds from non-statutory sources, particularly trusts and foundations, and is grateful to hold a number of established relationships with grant-makers. We work hard to ensure that we submit excellent, data-driven applications and evaluations. To build on our track record, we are now looking to recruit a new member of the team, to help us to grow our income stream in this area and help us to steward key relationships.

In this exciting new role, you will play a key part in growing and sustaining our income from trusts and foundations. Your responsibilities will include identifying funding opportunities and potential grant-makers, designing and developing compelling funding proposals, promoting these opportunities, and managing relationships with supporters throughout the entire funding cycle.

Be responsible for all aspects of the Charity - dogs, people, facilities ,compliance and finances

Manage the charity and the skilled staff within it

Optimise the rescue of dogs and maintain the high quality of care currently in place

Actively promote high standards of care with the staff and volunteers

Support and co-ordinate the volunteers, foster carers and members

About the team

We have an experienced team of 13 staff in place across the Charity. They are passionate about caring for the dogs and finding suitable loving homes for them in the next stage of their lives.

What we’re looking for

Essential

· A self starter with a  passion for improving the lives of the dogs in our care

· Proven senior leadership experience in a charity, animal welfare, or similar organisation.

· Strong understanding of animal welfare principles and UK legislation affecting rehoming charities.

· Demonstrated ability in strategic planning, team leadership, and financial oversight.

· Successful track record in fundraising, stakeholder engagement, and partnership building.

· Excellent communication, people management, empathy, and decision-making skills.

· Good listening skills and openness to staff proposals, suggestions. Utilisation of existing staff experience and qualifications

· Experience working directly in rescue, veterinary, or kennels environments.

· Knowledge of health and Safety and employment law

Desirable

· Knowledge of marketing, PR, and community engagement strategies.

· Qualification in charity management, business administration, or animal welfare.
