About the role:

We are looking to appoint a Family Support Worker on a full-time basis (35 hours, 5 days per week), to deliver a high-quality family support service as part of our Southampton Care Team to families in the local area, at a time where they need it most.

Reporting to the Family Support Manager of the Southampton Care Team and working in partnership with health, education and social care professionals, you will take responsibility for providing needs-led emotional, social and practical support to families where a child/young person has a life threatening or terminal illness. You will enjoy responsibility for managing your own schedule, remaining flexible to the needs of the families on your caseload.

Having worked in a stressful and emotional environment you have a genuine interest in building supportive relationships and helping people; and having provided bereavement support to families, you understand processes of grief, loss and change - and how best to help others deal with its impact.

· An experienced child health, education or social care professional - applications will be particularly welcome from those who have worked in a community environment and those with a recognised qualification in education, health or social care.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Digital Communications

• Implement Tusk’s social media strategy in line with Tusk’s overarching communications strategy, ensuring it adheres to Tusk’s values and brand guidelines, including language and tone of voice
• Produce compelling and shareable content for Tusk’s social media platforms, including videos, images and text
• Support the day-to-day management of the organisation’s social media channels, including scheduling, backend platform administration, boosting posts and paid social advertising.

As Legacy and In-Memory Fundraiser, you will work as part of the Individual Giving and Legacy team, responsible for the development and implementation of a multi-year Legacy and In-Memory strategy to grow Ty Hafan’s legacy pledger and in memory giving pool.

We are seeking a Relationship Fundraiser.  This is an exciting and varied role incorporating developing corporate partnerships, supporting volunteer fundraisers, organising fundraising events, and building relationships with community groups.

About Action Tutoring
At Action Tutoring, we believe every child should be given the opportunity to succeed in school. But in the UK today, young people from disadvantaged backgrounds are less likely to 

achieve the grades they need to progress in life. This isn't because they are any less able; they have less access to the tools to help them reach their potential.

About the opportunity

We are looking for a strong candidate with formal teaching qualifications and experience teaching core National Curriculum subjects to join our established Impact and Quality department as Curriculum and Quality Manager. This role has oversight for ensuring the creation and delivery of high-quality, tailored tutoring resources for pupils and tutors, and managing the quality assurance processes within our organisation. This role includes line managing a team composed of two Curriculum Leads. You will also work closely with colleagues in the Marketing and Communications Department to provide matrix project leadership for the delivery of Initial Tutor Training. 

To achieve this, we are looking for a candidate with experience teaching either English or maths (or equivalent) with a willingness to quickly understand the curriculum requirements in the other subject. You will have a strong understanding of how to set the standard for excellent tutor training and tutor quality assurance, using your educational expertise to shape effective training and quality assurance frameworks that enable tutors of varying experience levels to flourish. The position would suit someone who loves working in education, values pedagogical best practice, and thrives when balancing creative curriculum and quality development with operational realities.

• People & Matrix Management: Line manage the Curriculum Leads for English and maths, managing their work flow and projects goals. Provide matrix project leadership to Tutor Journey Coordinators for the delivery of Initial Tutor Training. 
• Training & support: Lead the annual review of Tutor Training updates, coordinating changes and/or commissioning new modules as required for quality and those proposed by the safeguarding and Tutor Journey teams. 

Essential Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for someone who is/has:

• Educated to degree level with formal teaching qualifications and experience teaching core national curriculum subjects.

About the role

At SEA, all our work is grounded in evidence and shaped by the lived experiences of victim-survivors. As Research Officer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, survivor-centred research on economic abuse as part of a major new three-year project funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC).

Working closely with the Senior Research Officer, colleagues across SEA, academic partners and external stakeholders, you will support research exploring coerced debt as a form of economic abuse and the responses to it across systems and services. The role will involve qualitative and quantitative research activities, including data collection, analysis, stakeholder engagement, and producing accessible and impactful research outputs.

Your work will help strengthen understanding of economic abuse and inform policy, practice and systems change on coerced debt that improves responses for victim-survivors.

About you

You are a skilled researcher who is passionate about conducting high-quality research which can create real-world impact for victim-survivors of economic abuse.

You will have the ability to sensitively work with victim-survivors to learn about their lived experiences of economic abuse , including coerced debt, as well as the ability to conduct research with professional stakeholders.

Using your research skills, you will be able to analyse data, and will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of economic abuse in the context of intimate partner abuse, including of how perpetrators can misuse systems to enact abuse. About the role

We are looking for an experienced and inspiring Community Fundraising Manager to lead our community fundraising activity and supporter experience strategy at an exciting time of growth and ambition.

As Community Fundraising Manager, you will lead and develop a high performing team to grow income through community fundraising, events, partnerships and supporter engagement. You’ll champion a supporter first culture, ensuring every interaction with Hft is positive, engaging and inspiring.

You’ll also play a key role in developing innovative fundraising initiatives and community partnerships with local organisations, universities, volunteers, supporters and Hft services, helping to create long-term advocacy and loyalty for our mission.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading and inspiring a Community Fundraising Officer and Supporter Experience Officer to deliver ambitious income and engagement targets

• Developing and delivering community fundraising strategies and events that are inclusive, impactful and supporter-focused

• Building strong partnerships with local groups, universities, businesses and community organisations

• Embedding co-production approaches into fundraising activity by working collaboratively with learning disabled people, families, volunteers and supporters

• Championing excellent supporter and volunteer experiences across all fundraising touchpoints

• Using insight, feedback and data to continuously improve supporter journeys and retention

• Managing budgets, KPIs and forecasting to ensure financial sustainability and growth

• Working collaboratively across Fundraising and Communications to shape engaging campaigns and fundraising opportunities

About you

We’re looking for someone who is:

• An experienced community fundraising leader with a proven track record of delivering income growth

• Passionate about supporter engagement and creating exceptional supporter experiences

• Experienced in planning and delivering successful fundraising or community events

• Skilled in developing partnerships and building long term relationships

• A confident and supportive people manager who can motivate and develop teams

• Comfortable using CRM systems, data and insight to drive performance and improve engagement

• Knowledgeable about fundraising regulation and best practice

Experience working with volunteers, universities or co-produced community initiatives would be highly beneficial.

The Role
Position: Community Fundraiser

About You

• Proven experience of effectively managing relationships with volunteers, supporters, and/or external stakeholders/audiences

• Demonstrable experience in community fundraising and/or events management
• Ability to manage a varied workload and take initiative to prioritise
