Someone who enjoys spotting opportunities, challenging conventional approaches and designing partnerships that create genuine shared value.

You'll inherit an exciting portfolio of national partners (Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, Toyota GB, Fuller’s pubs, Ocean Outdoor, Mitsubishi Electric UK and others), lead a small but ambitious team, and work alongside the Director of Development to shape the future of one of the UK's most exciting purpose-led partnership programmes.

This is an exciting opportunity for an excellent communicator with experience in collaboration and partnership working who is keen to make good quality income maximisation advice and support accessible to families across Scotland.

As Development Officer (Income Maximisation in Schools) you will play a lead role in looking at the actions needed at different levels to sustainably embed advice in schools across Scotland. You’ll be involving and engaging schools, advice services and other partners to develop practical recommendations which can be used to improve provision nationally. You will also be helping to develop resources and professional learning to increase awareness and confidence in schools around financial entitlements and pathways to income maximisation support.

You will be based within the Cost of the School Day team at CPAG in Scotland and will work closely with Welfare Rights, Digital and Policy colleagues.

Purpose of the Role

The Director of External Affairs and Growth is an SLT role responsible for leveraging the voice and power of the eoa's network to influence and accelerate the growth of the employee owned sector.

The role leads the eoa’s external affairs, policy and insights, marcomms and events, shaping the external environment for employee ownership and securing the funding and commercial income needed to support sustainable sector growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead external affairs strategy, building the relationships and influence needed to shape policy, remove barriers and expand EO.
• Build strategic relationships and secure grant funding and commercial partnerships, generating income to support advocacy, events and sector growth initiatives, including the UK EO Growth Strategy.
• Oversee our policy and insights work, engaging key stakeholders to co-produce content that influences EO practice and policy and strengthens the eoa’s voice in public affairs.
• Oversee the delivery of a mar-comms strategy that delivers commercial objectives and positions the eoa as the leading authority on EO.
• Oversee our events programmes, ensuring they drive knowledge-sharing, sector development

• Represent the eoa at industry forums, policy roundtables and public affairs events,
• championing the employee ownership model.
• Collaborate with the Director of Membership and Operations to align advocacy and external

The Woodland Trust is looking for an In-Memory Stewardship and Marketing Manager to lead our in-memory giving strategy, create outstanding supporter experiences, and grow income by inspiring legacy giving and maximising gifts in wills opportunities. 

This role is advertised as full-time, 37.5 hours per week.

The Role:

• Lead the development, implementation and embedding of the Woodland Trust's in-memory fundraising strategy.
• Drive growth in in-memory income, achieving strategic income and supporter acquisition targets.
• Design and deliver a gold-standard stewardship programme to strengthen supporter relationships and encourage future legacy giving.
• Collaborate with Communications to develop compelling messaging, storytelling and campaigns that raise awareness of in-memory giving.

• Maximise legacy giving opportunities by promoting gifts in wills and integrating legacy fundraising into supporter journeys.
• Work cross-organisationally to develop innovative in-memory products, including launching new tribute fund initiatives with external partners.

• This is a hybrid position with a mix of home working, and from our head office in Grantham, Lincolnshire. Head office attendance would be required no more than once a month on average (Possibly more in the first 6 months). Occasional travel to other offices and remote locations may also be required.

The Candidate:

• Demonstrable experience in in-memory giving and legacy giving.
• A background working within the charity sector.
• Proven success in building and stewarding stakeholder relationships.
• A track record of delivering complex, cross-team projects collaboratively.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines, both independently and as part of a team.
• Confidence using CRM systems, with experience of Dynamics 365 being desirable.
• Sound knowledge of project management, including coordinating multiple workstreams.
• A degree in Marketing, Fundraising, or equivalent experience (desirable).
• Full UK driving licence.

About the role

The Programme Officer role sits within our Health & Inequalities Directorate, which is focused on the ‘building blocks’ that make up good health and how health can be promoted outside of formal health systems and services, especially for those experiencing the greatest inequalities. You will work as part of the Health & Inequalities Directorate’s embedded Portfolio Management team to support the delivery of our Health & Inequalities programmes and projects.

As Engagement Officer, you will be responsible for identifying and maintaining meaningful relationships with global stakeholders, including governmental, non-governmental and educational institutions. We are tackling the greatest threats working donkeys face locally and around the world, from the donkey skin trade to challenges working animals face in disasters. Hours of work:

The basic hours are 35 hours per week spread over five working days. Within these hours there may be need to work some evenings and weekend days, so flexibility is essential. The core responsibilities should be carried out during weekdays. The amount of out of hours work will be agreed on an ongoing basis.

Time off in lieu will be allowed in agreement with the Head of Branch Operations and in line with the staff handbook and the European Working Time Directive.

Limitations:

The post holder will be required to work within the rules and regulations of Samaritans and accept the authority of the Director and the Chair of the branch’s Board of Trustees, who have discretion to delegate authority to the post holder and to withdraw it.

As Deputy Director of Operations (Local Services), you'll lead the strategic and operational delivery of Victim Support's services across the regions. You'll act as the senior organisational representative for commissioners and system partners, shaping local system responses and ensuring quality, sustainability and innovation. You'll Translate national strategy into regional implementation and be accountable for performance, risk and culture.

You'll lead a cluster of services across England and Wales, and work with individual associated Area Managers, to identify, develop, promote opportunities to grow and develop services, to improve impact and reach more victim-survivors. In conjunction with the Director for Operations, you'll further develop opportunities for partnership working across England and Wales. You'll identify trends in commissioning and act to ensure models and approaches are evolving.

About the Role

Central to the role is ensuring that relationships between Victim Support, commissioners and stakeholders are strong and you'll take proactive action to address risks and improvement actions and themes. With excellent interpersonal skills you'll manage Area Managers, within a cluster, to ensure the organisation is positioned strongly and represented professionally with accurate evidence-based information and insight.

You'll help promote a strong external brand for the organisation by ensuring the team serve people impacted by crime well in line with strong service delivery standards. You'll play a key role in the ownership and accountability for the delivery of financial, customer, risk, and people objectives across regional services.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Fundraising and Development team on a fixed-term basis.

The Head of Corporate Partnerships (Maternity Cover) will work alongside the Strategic Director of Fundraising and Development to lead and further develop the strategic plan for corporate fundraising at the Playhouse. They will also lead the day-to-day running of the activities that fall within this key component of the Fundraising and Development department.

The Head of Corporate Partnerships (Maternity Cover) will be part of a small team and receive some admin support from the Development Administrator.

Corporate sector fundraising includes planning, developing and managing campaigns to meet agreed income targets for income from businesses, managing and delivering agreed benefits, and maintaining key Playhouse partnerships with the corporate sector.

This is a full-time, fixed-term contract of 35 hours per week for around 12 months, depending on available start date. Working pattern will vary with some flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required. Pay for this role is £30,600 per year. We are working with a medical charity to recruit an Individual Giving Officer to join its fundraising team. Reporting to the Individual Giving Manager, this role offers a pivotal opportunity to support the delivery of the charity's individual giving programme at a time of significant growth and innovation. The programme includes face-to-face fundraising, in-memoriam giving, and direct mail appeals.
