About the role

The key purpose of the Coordinator role is to support the Senior Engagement Manager to deliver regional Sight Loss Councils across Yorkshire and Humberside and to engage with blind and partially sighted people across the region.  We currently have three Sight Loss Councils (SLCs) in this region, so the postholder will be expected to work alongside the Senior Engagement Manager and coordinate the SLCs’ activity, focusing on the retention of the volunteers engaged and ensuring the projects and work they are involved in continue to be successful.

You will be a self-starter and work well on your own but will also enjoy being a part of a national team working across the country, with whom you can learn from, as well as share good practice with. Ideally you will need to live within the Yorkshire and Humberside region, as there will be travel within the region every week.

Contract: This is a maternity cover fixed term contract. About the role:

As the Development and Fundraising Co-ordinator, you will support statutory and non-statutory funding across Advance’s services, with oversight by the Development Manager and support from the Bid Officer. You will also provide assistance to the Head of Fundraising.

• Lead on communication with Advance’s partners and internal teams to keep abreast of developments throughout the bid process

• Oversee due diligence of funders and delivery partners

• Support the Fundraising and Development team to maintain regular communication with existing and potential funders

• Maintain Advance’s donor database

• Keep up-to-date, accurate records on the progress of funding prospects and proposals

• Take responsibility for reviewing and keep clear, accurate records of agreement documents and contracts, following the team’s processes for filing and version control

About the role

We are seeking a creative and highly organised Supporter Engagement Coordinator to join our Supporter Engagement team at the British Museum. This is an exciting opportunity to shape our communicate with and event programme for our Members, Patrons, Major Donors, and wider supporter community.

Job summary
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive individual to join our team. This role focuses on supporting the administration and delivery of events, ensuring smooth coordination, logistics, and a high-quality participant experience. It also includes stakeholder management, maintaining clear communication and strong relationships with attendees, partners, and internal teams. Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning and Support

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and delivery of event logistics.

The Latin American Women’s Rights Service (LAWRS) is a human rights and feminist
organisation led by and for Latin American migrant women in the UK. Our work is dedicated
to supporting the immediate and long-term needs of Latin American migrant women exposed
to violations of their fundamental human rights; facing violence against women and girls,
exploitation or trafficking; enduring difficult living and working conditions in low paid jobs, and
facing barriers to social protection.

The Research and Engagement Policy Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the
development of LAWRS’ policy, advocacy, and campaigning work through research co-
development with a group of migrant survivors of domestic abuse. This research will
highlight the barriers experienced by migrant survivors in accessing healthcare and provide
opportunities for co-production and participation in policy, advocacy and campaigning
spaces for women facing severe disadvantage due to intersectional inequalities.

What the job involves

The Education Team at Prostate Cancer UK delivers high-quality education for health professionals involved in prostate cancer care, supporting their development through face to face and online engagement, regular clinical updates and collaborative work across the organisation. We also partner with teams and external stakeholders to help increase engagement and reach, ensuring healthcare professionals feel informed, connected and equipped to support men and their families.

As an Education Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in making this happen. You’ll help organise and deliver healthcare professional education events and conferences across the UK, working closely with colleagues and external partners to ensure everything runs smoothly. You’ll also provide support to our digital communications, helping to build our marketing emails, healthcare professionals webpages and social media, so our work reaches the right audience.

Alongside this, you’ll provide essential day-to-day support to the team. This includes coordinating meetings and events, managing inbox enquiries, arranging travel, handling financial processes and keeping our systems and processes up to date. You’ll also help track and report on our impact, and lead on projects like the People’s Choice Award. It’s a varied role where you’ll work flexibly across teams, contributing to meaningful work that improves care for people affected by prostate cancer.

What we want from you

We’re looking for an Education Coordinator who is highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities, using their initiative to keep work moving forward. You’ll have strong written and verbal communication skills, along with a good eye for detail to ensure accuracy and consistency across your work.

You’ll be comfortable working with systems and processes, including maintaining spreadsheets, monitoring data and supporting financial activities. Experience of using digital communication channels such as social media or email newsletters is helpful but not essential, as well as the ability to build and maintain professional working relationships with colleagues and external suppliers. You’ll be able to work collaboratively across teams and adapt to changing priorities where needed.

An interest in supporting healthcare professionals and improving outcomes for men affected by prostate cancer is important for this role. Experience in, or understanding of, the health or voluntary sector would be beneficial, but isn’t essential.
