About the role
The Community Education and Prevention Manager provides strategic and operational leadership for Women and Girls Network’s (WGN) Community Education and Prevention work, shaping how we deliver prevention, engagement and survivor participation across London in response to Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG).
As Community Education and Prevention Manager, you will lead a multidisciplinary team working across community outreach, prevention education and survivor involvement. You will ensure all work is grounded in Black feminist, intersectional, trauma-informed and anti-racist practice, and that survivor experience is central to how programmes are designed, delivered and developed.
You will oversee a portfolio of work delivered across key partnerships, including initiatives focused on Black and Global Majority young women, pan-London sexual violence prevention collaboration, and WGN’s wider survivor participation and engagement activity.
This role brings together strategic leadership, team management, service development and external collaboration to strengthen WGN’s impact, reach and influence within the sector.
This role is offered on a part-time basis (3 days / 21 hours per week).
Job description
As the Community Education and Prevention Manager, you will:
Provide strategic leadership for community education and prevention work, ensuring programmes are high-quality, coherent and grounded in WGN’s feminist, trauma-informed, anti-racist and intersectional values.
Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team, fostering reflective practice, collective care, accountability and a supportive, learning-focused working culture.
Hold responsibility for safeguarding across community education and prevention activity, ensuring safe, consistent and survivor-centred practice across all delivery.
Drive programme development and improvement using survivor voice, community insight, data and sector learning to strengthen impact and innovation.
Build and sustain strong partnerships and external relationships across community organisations, statutory services, education settings and VAWG sector networks, while representing WGN externally and contributing to income generation and sustainability.

Main Responsibilities
We are looking for a highly motivated and organised individual to coordinate our accreditation scheme. The role will work with our network of employers, and support new organisations through the accreditation process.
The Programme Officer will support our work across the South East and support our managers to grow and deepen engagement with Living Wage Employers through our associated schemes. You will help to ensure our resources and publicity materials are well written and up-to-date, and to coordinate events to grow our employer network.

About the Role
As a Support Worker in a Children’s Home, you will provide direct support and care for our young people, who have complex emotional and mental health difficulties (such as trauma and loss) and can struggle to regulate their emotions. Working within a therapeutic framework, you will develop a direct programme of work aimed at developing authentic relationships with our children and young people (aged between12 – 17 years old), you will also have responsibility for making sure our those in our care are safe, providing support, liaison with other external professionals and completion of support documents to record information.
If applying for the Waking Night role, you will have the additional support of an on-call manager should there be any emergencies. Further to this, you will be involved in monthly team meetings and receive monthly one-to-one supervision with your manager.
Applicants should have

Main Responsibilities
We are looking for highly motivated and organised individual to coordinate our accreditation scheme. The role will work with our network of employers, and support new organisations through the accreditation process.
The Programme Officer will lead our work across the South West and support our managers to grow and deepen engagement with Living Wage Employers through our associated schemes. You will help to ensure our resources and publicity materials are well written and up-to-date, and to coordinate events to grow our employer network.

The Council for At-Risk Academics is a UK-registered charity founded in 1933 under the leadership of William Beveridge, to assist academics suffering persecution under the rise of Nazism and facilitate their continued work in safety. Today, our Fellowship Programme convenes a network of 135 UK universities in the UK to secure research placements for at-risk academics and support for their families, continuing a longstanding commitment of protecting academics and preserving their knowledge and expertise.

About the Role

Training
Starting a career in Children’s Social Care comes with a lot to learn, which is why we provide a 4-week fully paid induction and training programme to make sure you feel supported and confident in your new role.
Working Hours
Our children and young people need support around the clock so our homes run 24/7 and we operate on fixed rotas with a variety of shift patterns.
As a Trainee Practitioner, you’ll work day shifts between 8am and 10pm, with 8, 10 or 12-hour shifts available. You’ll usually work an average of 40 hours per week, including weekends and bank holidays.
For example, if you work four 10-hour shifts, you’ll then have three days off. Overtime is available and paid at time and a half, including bank holidays.

It is a requirement that practitioners working in Children Homes are qualified with the Diploma 3 in residential childcare within 2 years of starting in the job role. (Children Home Regulations England 2015). St Christopher’s provide access and funding to undertake this qualification. Applicants who have Citizenship or Visa status restrictions that may preclude them from being able to meet the qualification requirement may be considered for other options such as fixed term contracts. At Turn2us, we’re here to change that. We support people in financial crisis to access the help they need and to build long-term financial security.
Every year, we reach millions through our practical tools like our Benefits Calculator and Grants Search, and we provide direct support through our Helpline and grant programmes. We work alongside people with lived experience of poverty to influence policy, shift public narratives, and tackle the root causes of financial insecurity.
Turn2us is serious about tackling financial insecurity both at scale and at its roots. We understand that the measurement and evaluation of all of our work is absolutely vital to achieving this and helping people thrive, and we are looking for an interim Head of Impact and Evaluation to join us on a 12-month maternity contract to support this work.
As Interim Head of Impact and Evaluation, you will be responsible for maintaining and evolving frameworks that help all colleagues understand and enhance our impact. This role will support Team Heads and Directors in decisions about prioritising work and assessing innovations that advance our vision of financial security for all. You will also work closely with the Policy Team and external partners on research that deepens our understanding of poverty and financial insecurity, while leading a dedicated team to scale and replicate effective solutions.
We’re looking for someone who sees impact not as a back-office function but as a transformative enabler of our mission. Naturally we want you to bring deep technical expertise, but also empathy, curiosity, and the leadership skills to bring others with you. This role isn’t just about ticking boxes and meeting funder paperwork requirement. It’s about supporting innovation, making crucial decisions about where we focus our efforts, and unlocking the insights that help us deliver a more just and secure society.

Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. We have embarked on our 10-year strategy for ending homelessness. We know it is not inevitable. We know together we can end it.
Location: Based in our London office, E1. Homeworking options in line with Crisis’ Hybrid Working Policy.
Hours: 35 hours per week. Occasional evening work will be required; TOIL will be given in line with policy.

About the role
As Senior Special Events Manager, you will lead the delivery of one of the most exciting and fast-growing special events portfolios in the charity sector. This is a nine-month parental cover role, offering the opportunity to work with leading artists, performers, chefs, philanthropists and high-profile supporters to create unforgettable experiences that raise vital funds to end homelessness. From exclusive culinary experiences through Together at the Table and a star-studded festive production of A Christmas Carol, to building on the success of previous music fundraising initiatives with Coldplay's Chris Martin and Jonny Buckland, you'll help deliver a programme designed to inspire audiences and bring supporters closer to Crisis' mission.
At the heart of the portfolio is HOME: Reframed, an ambitious new art auction event that will bring together artists, collectors, philanthropists and supporters around a shared vision of ending homelessness. This flagship launch will carry a six-figure income target and play a central role in the future growth of the programme.
Working collaboratively across Crisis and with a wide range of external partners, you will create exceptional supporter experiences that deepen engagement, inspire action and generate significant income. You'll bring together people from different sectors and backgrounds, ensuring people with lived experience of homelessness are genuinely at the heart of our events programme and the stories we share, while helping shape the future of a growing portfolio with huge potential.
