About the role

We’re looking for a motivated and creative Senior Marketing Officer to join Kinship’s Marketing Team to help us reach more kinship carers with our support offer. You’ll bring strong experience in delivering effective, insight-driven digital marketing campaigns across channels, including social media, email, web, paid advertising and content marketing.   

You’ll play a key role in delivering integrated marketing campaigns and promoting our services and programmes – including Department for Education-funded training – to kinship carers, referral partners, and professionals across England and Wales.   

Working closely with the Head of Marketing, you’ll plan and deliver impactful marketing activity, create engaging content, and use data and analytics to optimise performance. You’ll also contribute to shaping our marketing strategy by bringing evidence, creativity and best practice from across the digital landscape. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to maximise reach and impact and raise the profile of kinship care while supporting families.   

Key responsibilities   

• Work with the Head of Marketing to develop marketing plans, and have day-to-day oversight of the delivery of these to promote the DfE-funded training and support service to kinship carers, to ensure good take-up of all training events by a diverse range of kinship carers, in line with the programme goals.

• Plan and deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, print, social media - paid and organic, email, SMS, etc.), monitoring and optimising campaigns for greatest impact and testing new approaches.

• Produce and oversee content creation for marketing plans and campaigns, delivering high-quality, insight-led and engaging marketing content for different audiences and/or channels, including case studies, blog posts, leaflets, videos, and social media assets.

• Plan and deliver creative and innovative paid ads campaigns across Meta, reviewing and optimising throughout, ensuring robust reporting is in place and using analytics and insights to inform future campaigns.

• Help embed a new email marketing platform to support the delivery of our email marketing strategy, including segmentation, automated journeys testing and reporting.

• Support the delivery of marketing strategies and activities to grow brand awareness and increase engagement with kinship carers and other key audiences.

• With the Head of Marketing, work with services teams to understand our target audience, and identify opportunities to integrate Kinship’s holistic support offer - including our peer support service and website advice content/ Kinship Compass - into training marketing activity where appropriate.

• Track KPIs and produce regular monitoring reports on marketing performance across channels and, with support from the Head of Marketing, adjust campaigns and plans to optimise impact and make recommendations for future testing.

• Manage and prioritise incoming requests from the organisational briefing process for services marketing support, including producing collateral templates in line with brand guidelines, working closely and collaboratively with comms and digital teams.

• Work in collaboration and co-production with kinship carers to ensure meaningful input and representation in the development of relevant plans and activities.

​Knowledge, abilities, skills and experience: 

Experience    

• Demonstrable marketing experience in an in-house or agency role (minimum 4 years experience).   

• Experience of developing and delivering marketing campaigns and activity to meet specific objectives, including engagement and acquisition of target audiences.   

• Experience of supporting numerous marketing campaigns or activities at the same time.   

• Strong digital marketing experience, including use of email marketing systems; design software including Canva; social media platforms and photo and video editing software.   

• Experience of planning, delivering and optimising email marketing campaigns to drive supporter engagement, using segmentation, automation and performance analysis. 

• Experience using a Contact Management System, such as Salesforce.   

• Passion for and experience of developing a range of content for different audiences and channels (such as videos, infographics, blogs and social media posts).   

• Experience of using communications planning tools or systems (e.g. planning grids, Asana, Hootsuite, Loomly).   

• Experience of tracking and reporting on social media and other digital marketing analytics and using insights and data to inform optimisation and planning of new activity.   

• Experience of delivering marketing campaigns across organic and paid social, particularly Meta paid advertising.    

• Experience working with brand guidelines and applying brand principles to create impactful marketing. 

Knowledge and skills

Purpose of the Role

The Finance Manager is responsible for the effective financial management and in large part, delivery of the church, ensuring robust systems, accurate reporting, compliance with charity and diocesan requirements, and strong financial planning. The role supports the PCC in fulfilling its legal and fiduciary responsibilities and enables staff and clergy teams to focus on the strategic priorities of the church.

This is a broad role with a large scope requiring close attention to detail in a complex organisation. There is a requirement for oversight and management as well as day to day bookkeeping delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management and Reporting

• Oversee all day-to-day financial operations of the church.
• Prepare accurate management accounts for the Head of Operations, Incumbent, Treasurer, and PCC.
• Monitor income and expenditure against budget, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Manage cash flow to ensure the parish can meet its financial commitments.
• Prepare year-end accounts and act as the main liaison with independent examiners or auditors.

Budgeting and Financial Planning

We are looking for a Prevention and Intervention Programme Manager to line manage the Advisors (Sexual Violence Liaison Officers) and be responsible for an SVLO programme to support students who have experienced sexual violence, sexual harassment, gender-based violence and/or domestic abuse at any point in their lives. The Programme Manager will need to work closely with the Advice Service Manager to support the Specialist Advisors in working alongside the generalist advice provision. The Programme Manager will oversee the Active Bystander Programme as well as the expansion of new and existing programmes, including developing personalised packages for departments and an attractive offer for external partner organisations.

Purpose of the Role

The Administrator / Finance Officer plays a key role in the smooth running of One Newham. The postholder will provide reliable financial administration, maintain accurate records, support budgeting and reporting cycles, and ensure effective office and administrative systems are in place, with a strong emphasis on finance.

About the role and person 

The new Chief Executive could be someone with senior management experience who is ready to lead an organisation for the first time, or they may already have experience of being a Chief Executive.

Job purpose

To act as the organisation’s lead professional for complaint handling and quality improvement across all Advice Services.

To ensure the effective resolution of client complaints by maintaining expert knowledge of regulated advice and delivering excellent customer service. Provide regulatory insights in team discussions on MHCBS and Regulation 17 creditor challenges. Analyse complaint trends and produce reports to establish consistent processes that enhance service quality, accountability, learning, and continuous improvement.

To support the Head of Quality and Compliance in ensuring Toynbee Hall’s advice services remain fully compliant with FCA, MaPS, and internal quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Complaints and Challenge Management

• Lead the end-to-end management of all client complaints, overseeing first-stage advice service resolutions and directly managing escalated complaints, while contributing regulatory insight to team discussions on MHCBS and Regulation 17 creditor challenges.
• Ensure timely, accurate, and fair resolution in accordance with FCA and MaPS complaint-handling procedures.
• Act as the organisational escalation point for complex or high-risk advice-related complaints, including cases involving direct client or creditor challenges under MHCBS and Regulation 17
• Liaise with external stakeholders, creditors, and partners to resolve disputes and maintain strong working relationships.
• Maintain an accurate and auditable record of all complaints, decisions, and resolutions.

Quality and Compliance Oversight

• Work with the Head of Quality and Compliance to monitor compliance with regulatory frameworks and internal policies.
• Conduct audits and case reviews to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Support the design and implementation of quality-improvement plans, policies, and tools.
• Provide regular reporting to senior leadership, highlighting trends and risks across services.

Continuous Improvement and Learning

• Translate insights from complaints and audits into practical service improvements.
• Collaborate with Advice Managers and Coordinators to integrate learning into casework and training.
• Support staff training and development on complaint handling, communication, and quality assurance.
• Promote a culture of transparency, fairness, and continuous learning within advice delivery teams to ensure ongoing service improvement and the highest possible standard of support for Toynbee Hall clients.

Regulatory and Partnership Liaison

• Proactively maintain and develop knowledge of regulations, legislation, and best practice across all advice areas by engaging in relevant training, continuous learning, and professional development.
• Ensure complaint handling and quality monitoring comply with FCA MaPS  and advice quality standards.
• Support preparation for audits, funder reviews, and regulatory inspections.
• Keep colleagues informed of relevant regulatory changes and implications for practice.

General Responsibilities

• Adhere to Toynbee Hall’s policies and procedures, including safeguarding and data protection.

Person Specification

Essential Criteria

Experience and Knowledge

• Hold a valid Money and. Pension Service accredited qualification in debt advice
• A minimum of two years’ full time (2,220 hours) or equivalent part-time experience of delivering debt advice
• Demonstrates a strong understanding of advice areas, with particular expertise in FCA regulations, MaPS quality frameworks, and the Mental Health Crisis Breathing Space Regulation
• Significant experience managing complaints and quality processes within a regulated advice
• Proven experience in complaint resolution, creditor negotiation, and stakeholder management.
• Ability to analyse complex cases and identify systemic issues or risks.
• Experience developing and implementing service improvement plans.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Reprieve in a senior leadership position that brings together legal, compliance, governance, finance and operational oversight.

The Director (Legal and Operations) will play a central role in ensuring Reprieve runs effectively, is well-governed and has strong foundations for impact. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will be a trusted advisor across the organisation providing expert guidance on organisational legal matters including employment law, compliance, sanctions, data protection, contracts, privilege, and managing relationships with key partners (you will not be responsible for strategic litigation relating to clients or day-to-day casework as these issues are handled by the casework teams).

You will also support the effective functioning of our Board, ensuring strong governance processes and compliance with our charitable and regulatory obligations. A key part of the role is skilled risk management - helping the organisation navigate complexity while enabling rather than constraining our work.

Reporting to the CEO, you will line manage the Head of Operations and Head of Finance, providing strategic direction and support to ensure these functions are operating as effectively as possible and that relevant information is able to be communicated appropriately and clearly to the Board.

This is a role that spans the technical and the operational, requiring someone who is comfortable working across different domains - from legal and compliance questions to organisational functioning, budgets and Board management. Terms
