We encourage all colleagues to visit member hospices to help inform our work and you may be able to work from there.

The Conference Manager (FTC) plays a significant part in delivering Hospice UK’s programme of conferences for our hospice membership. As a newly created position, you will take the lead on our one-day conferences while also supporting the delivery of our annual National Conference.
Our conferences are central to our strategic aim of bringing the sector together to share expertise, collaborate and celebrate innovation. Your work will ensure our conferences are delivered to a high standard and that hospice delegates have access to relevant and timely learning opportunities.

The Team
The Conference team is made up of the Senior Conference manager and the Programmes Team Administrator, with support from the Deputy Director of Programmes, Director of Programmes and subject matter experts across the organisation.
It is a mighty team of two, managing a portfolio of 5 in person conferences across the year, from our role focused one-day conferences of around 130 - 150 delegates to our annual National Conference, which welcomes over 1000 delegates.Our team works across the organisation and collaborates with lots of internal and external stakeholders.

The Research & Partnerships Directorate is a fast-paced, collaborative team committed to achieving Alzheimer’s Research UK’s vision. The Directorate has responsibility for delivering on the charity’s principal remit: funding world-class research to ultimately defeat dementia. Alzheimer’s Research UK funds dementia research through a large portfolio of investigator-led grant awards, research fellowships and strategic initiatives within the UK and increasingly internationally.
The Senior Research Funding Manager will work closely with the Head of Research Funding, leading a team focused on delivering our core grants management processes. This role is vital in advancing ARUK's research objectives and promoting engagement within the ARUK-funded research community. We are looking for a confident and driven marketer who is eager to join a hard-working and ambitious Individual Giving team. Working with different teams across the charity, you'll be planning, managing and delivering direct marketing campaigns across a range of media including digital and print. You'll also work with external agencies on our campaigns. Activities in the acquisition portfolio are diverse; from developing the donor's online user journey to delivering motivational training to fundraisers across the country, your campaigns will drive income and attract new, engaged supporters to the charity.
As well as running the day-to-day campaign activity, the post holder will be responsible for compiling regular reports, across a range of financial and non-financial KPls. Alongside this, they will ensure compliance and adherence to the most recent regulations and codes of practice is top of the agenda.

Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Management
· Plan, manage and deliver successful campaigns across a range of channels including digital and print.
· Successful management of agencies and suppliers; ensuring relationships are effective and productive.
· Ensure compliance and adherence to regulation and codes of practice is considered in all campaign activities.
· Work closely with Data and Digital teams to ensure effective processes are worked to and full campaign evaluation is possible.
· Donation page monitoring, reporting and development, to include looking at ways in which to improve the donor's online user journey.
· Continuous improvement through test and learn principles across all activities.
· Integration of campaigns across the charity to drive maximum value.
· Development of compelling communications and materials to support all activities
Planning and Budgeting
· KPI tracking, trend analysis and interrogation of results at all levels.
· Live programme optimisation to ensure targets are met.
· Input to annual planning and development of individual giving campaigns.
· Assist Supporter Acquisition Manager with compilation of detailed income and expenditure campaign budgets.
· Work with Supporter Acquisition Manager in developing the Acquisition programme and strategy.
· Input to monthly forecasting and regular reporting across a range of financial and non-financial KPl's.
Finance and Reporting
· Ensure daily campaign tracking and reporting.
· Routine end of campaign reviews and analysis.
· Ongoing reporting on long-term success measures such as attrition and ROI.
· Invoice reconciliation and processing for timely payment.
· Non-financial KPI trend reporting - such as opt-in rates and quality scoring.

Ways of working:
As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.
