At MOVE Against Cancer our mission is to support and empower everyone impacted by cancer to be more active because movement matters. MOVE Against Cancer is seeking a Digital and Resources Lead to develop and manage the organisation's digital presence, including our website, social media channels and online resources, such as our Movement Hub, to support people affected by cancer to move more. The postholder will lead the creation and sharing of engaging, accessible digital content, including articles, guides, videos, social media content and practical resources. They will ensure our website and digital platforms provide meaningful support for beneficiaries, while expanding the reach and impact of MOVE Against Cancer's work. The role will also lead the development of new resources and digital projects that encourage and enable more people affected by cancer to become and stay active.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Digital Engagement
Lead the development and day-to-day management of MOVE Against Cancer’s social media channels. Create engaging content that encourages and supports people affected by cancer to move more and stay active. Develop and share regular content to show what MOVE are working on including: movement tips educational content participant stories programme highlights expert insights Build and nurture an online community around movement and cancer. Increasing our engagement. Monitor engagement and use insights to improve reach and impact.
Digital Resources and Educational Content
Lead our resource advisory group and resource development projects. Develop, share and maintain online resources that support people living with and beyond cancer. Produce accessible digital content such as: articles Guides toolkits FAQs movement advice pages newsletters programme information Ensure resources are clear, supportive and evidence informed. Work with clinicians, partners and beneficiaries to develop relevant guidance.
Website Development
Working in partnership with our digital agency, lead the development, testing and improvement of website content. Ensure resources are easy to find, well organised and regularly updated. Create new pages and digital content that support both beneficiaries and partners.
Multimedia Content Creation and Sharing
Produce and manage multimedia digital content, including: short videos photography participant interviews educational content Capture stories that highlight the benefits of movement during and after cancer treatment.
Content Planning and Coordination
Manage a digital content calendar across social media and the website. Coordinate contributions from staff, partners and participants. Ensure consistency in tone, accessibility and messaging.
Data, Learning and Impact
Help us gather data and understand data. Use analytics to understand how people engage with digital content. Support the development of feedback and impact surveys for beneficiaries. Contribute to improvements in digital systems or databases where relevant. Lead the adoption of AI‑driven tools, ensuring our team, Trustees and volunteers understand how to use emerging technologies responsibly and effectively. Use data for planning purposes, to extend our reach to more people impacted by cancer.
Person Specification
Essential skills and experience
Experience creating and managing digital content across platforms, particularly social media and websites. Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce clear, engaging and accessible content such as articles, guides, and online resources. Experience planning and delivering social media content and engagement. Experience managing or updating website content (e.g. CMS platforms such as WordPress or similar). Experience producing video or multimedia content (videography, photography, editing). Ability to translate complex or specialist information into clear, supportive content for different audiences. About AAFDA All
AAFDA All is a four-year project developed in partnership with Imkaan to create, pilot and evaluate a culturally responsive advocacy and peer support service for bereaved family members from Black and minoritised communities who have lost a loved one to fatal domestic abuse. The project aims to reduce barriers to support, build trust with communities and specialist organisations, strengthen peer connection, and ensure that lived experience shapes service development, practice and wider systems change.
Role Purpose
The Project Co-ordinator will lead the development, co-ordination and day-to-day delivery of AAFDA All, ensuring that the service is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, safe, accessible and shaped by the voices of bereaved family members from Black and minoritised communities. The postholder will work closely with AAFDA colleagues, Imkaan, the Specialist Advocate, volunteers, community partners, statutory agencies and the Service User Advisory Group to develop referral pathways, support co production, co-ordinate peer support activity, monitor outcomes and embed learning across the programme.

As Perinatal Peer Support Service Lead, you will take responsibility for the effective day-to-day delivery of our local perinatal peer support service. Working closely with peer supporters, volunteers, health and social care professionals and community partners, you will help ensure families receive safe, inclusive and high-quality support when they need it.

Leading and supporting the local peer support team, providing line management, supervision and operational oversight to ensure a consistent and high-quality service.

As our Lead Trainer and Assessor, you will play a key role in equipping professionals across policing, health, social care, housing, education, the specialist domestic abuse sector and beyond with the skills, knowledge and confidence to provide effective responses to domestic abuse. Through the development and delivery of high-quality training programmes, you will help ensure that victims, survivors and their families receive the right support at the right time.
Working closely with colleagues across the Training and Development Team, associate trainers, commissioners and external partners, you will lead on the delivery, assessment and quality assurance of accredited and non-accredited training programmes. You will develop engaging training materials that place lived experience at the heart of learning, support the development of new training offers in response to emerging sector needs, and contribute to SafeLives' reputation as a leader in domestic abuse training and professional development.
We're looking for someone with excellent facilitation, communication and relationship-building skills, alongside strong knowledge of domestic abuse and experience of working with victims, survivors and their families. You'll be confident delivering training to a range of audiences, committed to creating engaging learner experiences, and motivated by the opportunity to improve practice and outcomes for those affected by domestic abuse.

Last year alone, we delivered more than 700 sessions to over 15,000 learners across the UK in policing, health, housing, justice, education and the specialist sector. And we have reached 90,000 adult and 100,000 child survivors through programmes designed and delivered with partners.
In the last 9 years, close to 7,000 perpetrators have been challenged and supported to change through flagship interventions developed by our Drive Partnership and the programme continues to expand year on year.

About You

As Head of Research and Evaluation, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of our research and evaluation strategies. This work will help us to understand and provide insight into the challenges and difficulties faced by families with disabled children, the quality of services we provide and the difference our support makes for the families we serve.
You will ensure that the voice of families is at the centre of our research and evaluation approach to help shape existing and new programmes and services, and our policy and public affairs work.

For this role you will need to have experience in developing and managing research and evaluation strategies, frameworks, activities and production of subsequent products. You will also need to have experience of working in partnership with other organisations, and of resource and budget management.

You will need to have good writing skills and an ability to communicate effectively with different audiences. You will also need to have the ability to interpret and present research in an accessible and engaging way.
