The Senior Governance Manager is a key role managing and providing all aspects of the governance and secretariat service relevant to the most senior Boards and Committees within the Age UK Group and deputising for the Head of Governance and Legal with respect to duties as Company Secretary.
The role manages a team of 4 Executive Assistant and Governance Officers and 1 Executive Assistant (Chair/CEO) and the ability to line manage this team throughout the Board and Committee governance cycle and on individual projects / tasks, while also providing consistent executive services is key.
This is a very visible role working closely with Trustees and Directors as well as the most senior staff within the Charity, providing advice and support.
The post holder will lead projects, anticipate future governance matters and proactively tackle issues, with the ability to prioritise and manage many projects and activities in a busy environment. Please see role description for all responsibilities.
We operate a hybrid working model. We offer flexibility on working from home but require the applicant to be in our central London office approximately 4 times per month, in line with meeting schedules. Travel costs to the London office are the responsibility of the postholder and are not covered by the charity.

The Senior Manager, Policy & Campaigns will be central to this mission, leading the development of policy positions and research that strengthens Mission 44’s ability to influence decision-makers and shape public discourse.

Overall purpose
Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Senior Team Administrator will take responsibility for managing the administrative requirements relating to the governance of the charity and of the senior staff team, and for ensuring Breaking Barriers operates efficiently as possible, ensuring that the organisation can be effective in delivering its mission.

Key responsibilities

Governance and management
· Organise and attend quarterly board of trustee meetings, including room booking and note-taking

About the role
We are looking for an exceptional candidate to play a central role in the delivery of Surviving Economic Abuse’s new digital engagement strategy by producing high-quality, impactful communications and compelling campaigns to extend our reach and to engage, inform and mobilise our audiences.
You will be responsible for managing and growing our digital presence across social media and ensuring this translates into action through our website and newsletters. This will include creating content tailored to victim-survivors and their family and friends, financial services professionals, policymakers, funders and other stakeholders.

About you
We’re looking for someone with proven experience running social media for a brand, organisation or campaign, with demonstrable results such as audience growth, reach, engagement or conversion. You’ll understand how campaigning and activism work, and how to mobilise supporters from diverse backgrounds to help drive meaningful change.
You’ll be a confident digital campaigner who knows how to make an impact across multiple platforms, especially Instagram, TikTok and other video first channels. You’ll have a strong understanding of trends, formats and algorithms, and know how to use them to create scroll stopping content that motivates people to take action.
This role is ideal for someone with bags of initiative, strong creative instincts, and the ability to turn complex issues into compelling digital content tailored to engage and mobilise different audiences.

The National Association of Special Schools (NASS) is the membership association for special schools in England and Wales. We bring together independent special schools, non-maintained special schools, special academies, maintained special schools and multi-academy trusts with specialist provision.
We exist to inform, support and represent our members, helping specialist schools improve outcomes for children and young people with SEND and secure the place of specialist provision within the wider education system.
