Role overview
Shine supports a community of over 15,000 members living with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus, including 10,000 adults (25+).
You will be delivering high-quality support and creating opportunities for adults living with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus and their carers, supporting Shine members to lead healthy, independent, and fulfilling lives by improving condition management and fostering connections within the Shine community.
This role will focus on adults (25+), you will be primarily working within the Adult Services Team. However, there will be occasions when you will work across age groups to ensure the best outcomes for our members.
The role is home-based and ideally you will live within an hour commute of London, within Essex, Kent or Sussex as you will be attending clinics in London and the Southeast as required. There would be occasional travel required across wider areas and nationally including attendance at events, conferences and meetings at our head office in Peterborough.
The role is full time 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday with working core hours 9am-5pm with some flexibility to cover events evenings/weekends.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver innovative support across your region to improve health, social, and emotional outcomes for members.
Attend specialist clinics to engage with members and professionals.
Provide information, advice, and guidance to our adult members and carers, including hard-to-reach communities.
Support members to access benefits, services, and resources that promote financial stability, health, and independence.
Refer members to Shine’s Health team, internal specialists, or external agencies as appropriate.
Develop age-specific groups and peer support networks to reduce isolation and encourage social interaction.
Recruit and support Shine volunteers.
Contribute to regional and national events (face-to-face and virtual) based on member needs and interests.
Represent Shine at conferences, provide information, raise awareness among professionals, external organisations, and the public through presentations and training.
Promote Shine membership to individuals with relevant conditions.
Maintain accurate records using Shine’s CRM (Salesforce database).
Collaborate with colleagues across services, fundraising, marketing to identify opportunities for sustainability.
Maintain an up-to-date directory of contacts and share relevant information internally.
Undertake administrative tasks and other duties as required.

Rossendale Refugee Support Group is a small, community-based charity committed to supporting refugees and people seeking asylum to rebuild their lives in safety . We provide practical advice, advocacy, support and opportunities for social contact to individuals and families living in Rossendale. Key Responsibilities
· Strategic Leadership. Work with Trustees to develop and implement future direction of the organisation.
· Partnership development. Represent RRSG and build partnerships with funders, community organisations, national bodies, and other stakeholders.
· Fundraising. Lead the development and delivery of the organisation's fundraising strategy, identifying funding sources, preparing high-quality funding applications and reports, diversifying and strengthening income streams.

Context
Kingston Street Pastors is a churches initiative which has been operating since 2006 deploying Christian volunteers in the town centre in the night time to Care, Listen and Help. We enjoy excellent relationships with key stakeholders in Kingston’s night time economy including our local council, police and businesses. Within the wider Street Pastors movement we have made significant contributions over the years to develop policy and practice and have worked closely with neighbouring Street Pastors initiatives and with the Ascension Trust. For governance purposes Kingston Street Pastors operates as an affiliated project of Oxygen, a Kingston based youth work charity.
Our key strategic priorities are to maintain and build on the positive relationships we have with our local council, the police and businesses in the night time economy, taking advantage of opportunities for collaboration, accessing funding and other forms of support. We are perennially focused on the recruitment of new volunteers to serve as Street Pastors and Prayer Pastors to sustain and grow our capacity to deploy teams to the streets.
About the Role
This role has a Genuine Occupational Requirement for the post holder to be a practicing Christian (as outlined by 2010 Equality Act, Section 9)
Our new Coordinator will work closely with the Street Pastors Deputy Coordinator, leading the regular operations of Kingston Street Pastors and the deployment of teams while also overseeing the strategic development of the initiative in response to emerging needs and opportunities.

JOB PURPOSE
The postholder will help the people accessing our services to engage with pre-employment support to build the skills, confidence and resilience needed to gain future employment. MAIN DUTIES

This is an exciting opportunity to join NEYDL’s growing team and help us establish and develop our work with young dads in Tees Valley.
As a Senior Young Dads Worker, you will provide direct, intensive support to young dads across Tees Valley, working with some of the most disadvantaged young men in the region. You will manage your own caseload, lead peer support activity, work in close partnership with Family Hubs, social care and other local services, and take a lead role in ensuring every young dad you work with is effectively supported from first contact through to positive outcomes.
This is a senior role with real responsibility. Alongside direct delivery, you will take ownership of your project budget, contribute to funder reporting, supervise junior staff and/or volunteers, and develop a designated area of specialism agreed with the senior leadership team. You will lead the Skills and Wellbeing Programme at Oasis City Farm – Southampton, delivering high-quality sessions, therapeutic activities and workshops for adults and young people. With the aim of building knowledge, practical skills, confidence and wellbeing through animal care, gardening and nature-based learning. This will include leading our Adult day service; developing opportunities for farm users to gain qualifications; facilitating wellbeing workshops and provision that build mental health wellbeing; working with the community lead to develop our volunteer and work placement programme; work alongside our garden assistant to lead on our garden project development, ensuring it is sustainable. This role includes line managing a team to enable the above strands of work to be sustainable and impactful for the wider community.
