The role
Drive is a high risk / high harm domestic abuse perpetration intervention. Its sole aim is to reduce the risk posed by those using high levels of harm towards family members and / or (ex) partners. This is achieved via disruption, diversion and direct behaviour change work, where safe to do so, within a multi-agency framework.
The Team Leader will manage a small team of Case Managers and a reduced caseload. You will assist the Service Manager in managing the Drive service to ensure high standards of practice in service delivery. You will provide leadership to the team and contribute to the development of the service. You will manage your own reduced caseload working one-to-one with perpetrators who have been identified as high risk to pro-actively secure engagement, influence attitudinal and behavioural change and connect with complementary services. To do this, you will work with local agencies to design a co-ordinated, strategic individual intervention plan to address identified needs and risks and promote understanding of the impact of abusive behaviours. However, it may not always be safe or possible to meet with the perpetrator. Equally as vital to risk reduction efforts is analysis of presenting information to identify ways to disrupt their abusive behaviour, alongside closeknit multiagency working to implement actions.
Throughout all intervention the Drive Team Leader will work closely with the local IDVA service to review risk, develop safety plans and improve outcomes for all parties involved.
About you
You’ll have a deep understanding of the nature of domestic abuse and its effects on clients and children, as well as the reasons behind abusive behaviours towards intimate partners.
Your knowledge extends to the range of statutory and voluntary agencies that clients and their children may encounter, and you are aware of the impact of domestic abuse on children and parenting, including the additional needs of clients from BMER communities.
You will have experience in working with clients on issues of domestic abuse, managing your own workload and administration, and assessing the risk and safety of your clients and those connected to your client. You will have handled safeguarding disclosures and referrals, and you communicate clearly with a range of people both over the telephone and in person.
You will be organised, able to use your initiative, and work effectively as part of a multi-service team. Your administrative skills are strong, and you are adept at using a computer to maintain effective systems.
Flexible and able to travel independently. Additionally, you will understand trauma-informed practices, risk mitigation, and safeguarding. Experience liaising with social workers and other professionals, and in related areas such as substance misuse, child protection, or family support, is desirable.

JOB PURPOSE: To manage and develop the Weekend Social Club on behalf of the organisation within the agreed business plan.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1.Running a Service
The Borough Service Manager is responsible for ensuring that the running of a service is done in line with Build on Belief mission to offer a place where clients users and volunteers can get on-going peer support from others with similar experiences through a range of activities, in line with Build on Belief Core Values and abiding by the Policies and Procedures of Build on Belief and the Build on Belief Standards of Practice and Operational Guidelines (hereafter referred to as SOPOG).
2. Staff Management
The Borough Service Manager will be responsible for a small team and will be in charge of ensuring that their Service Support Workers, Team Leaders, Facilitators and Volunteers work within the Policies and Procedures applicable to them and the SOPOG.
They will be responsible for the supervision of their Service Support Workers and the Team Leaders. The remaining volunteers will be supervised by Build on Belief Service Support Workers.
The Borough Service Manager will be accountable for ensuring their Service Support Workers complete accurate timesheets, comply with the Annual Leave policy, report absence, and keep accurate financial records and petty cash and supervise volunteers in accordance with the SOPOG.
The Borough Service Manager will support the Service Support Workers in ensuring that all required reporting and paperwork is submitted on time and to acceptable levels of competency.
3. Finance
The Borough Service Manager is responsible for all financial accounting and reporting related to the day to day running of their service in accordance with the SOPOG.
The Borough Service Manager will be accountable for all petty cash activities in the service centre ensuring the following:
• All financial matter relating to petty cash and vouchers are undertaken in line with the guidelines set down in the SOPOG.
• For the reporting of all financial matters to the Chief Operating Officer within the timelines set down in the SOPOG.
• For accurate and immediate reporting of any financial irregularities to the Chief Operating Officer within 24 hours of them coming to notice.
4. Training
While the in-house training programme will still be delivered centrally, or on-line the Borough Service Manager is accountable for ensuring that they, and/or their Service Support Workers deliver the following workshops to their volunteer teams three times per calendar year:
• Boundaries and Confidentiality
• Safeguarding
• Communication Skills
• Dealing with Difficult Behaviour
• Diversity & Discrimination
5. BoB Policies and Procedures
As per their contract of employment, Borough Service Managers are responsible for abiding by all Build on Belief Policies and Procedures and to make sure Service Support Workers and Volunteers also comply with the policies that are applicable to them. This includes the Standards of Practice and Operating Guidelines.
In addition to compliance with the Serious Incident Policy, all Team Leaders and Service Support Workers are responsible for reporting all incidents occurring in their service as detailed below. The Borough Service Manager is accountable for ensuring the guidelines below are adhered to without exception.
6. Incident Reporting
The Borough Service Manager will be responsible for ensuring Incident Reporting is done within both the guidelines and timelines set out in the SOPOG.
•All incidents, including those that may be considered minor, persistent, and abusive language being and example, will be reported in writing within 24 hours of their occurrence.
•Incidents that take place on-line or through other digital activity will also be reported in writing within 24 hours.
•Incidents will be recorded on the Build on Belief incident report form and sent to the Chief Executive. They will be password protected.
•It is expected that the Chief Executive will be notified by telephone of serious incidents on the day of their occurrence. When the Chief Executive is unavailable, through sickness or annual leave, it is expected that the incident will be reported by telephone to the Head of Services.
•Where applicable, incidents will be uploaded onto Datix within 24 hours of their occurrence.
•Any incident that results in an individual being excluded from a service, however short a period, will be considered an incident and must be reported in writing within 24 hours of its occurrence. It should be noted; there are no exceptions to the above.
7. Relationship Management
The Borough Service Manager will be accountable to work in partnership with the service providers ensuring an effective and constructive relationship with them as well as engagement with the local community, in compliance with the SOPOG rules and the Code of Conduct making sure all issues and incidents are reported to the Chief Executive.
8. General
•To promote and represent the BoB Social Club to service users and service professionals in the Borough, ensuring access to any service user who might benefit from the project.
•To ensure the services provided by the Social Club are run in a safe, supportive, and non-discriminatory fashion in line with Build on Belief Core Values and abiding by the Policies and Procedures of Build on Belief and the Build on Belief Standards of Practice and Operational Guidelines.
•To ensure the Social Club meets the needs of the service user community in the Borough, and to carry out development work to the service when necessary.
•To ensure the Service Support Workers, Team Leaders, Facilitators and Volunteer work within the Policies and Procedures applicable to them and the SOPOG, and receive supervision as detailed in those policies.
•To ensure that incidents are dealt with effectively and within the guidelines set down in the Policies and Procedures and SOPOG, and that all such incidents are reported in writing as detailed in those policies.
•To work with the Operations Manager regarding the development of the weekend service and the management of volunteers.
•To record statistical data relating to service users attending the Social Club and submit monthly reports to the Operations Manager. To provide end of year statistical reports and analysis of said data, working with the Operations Manager.
•To promote Social Club services and events to service users and service professionals within the Borough in conjunction with the other Managers of BoB services.
•To work with other members of staff to ensure the service is run in line with the Standards of Practice and Operational Guidelines for the charity.
•To attend Build on Belief Management Committee Meeting in the role Borough Service Manager, and other such meetings as may be deemed necessary, and to work within those meetings for the best interests of the Social Club and the local partnership.
•To prepare for and attend monthly supervision session with the Operations Manager.
•To abide by all the policies and procedures of Build on Belief as given to you at the start of your contract with the organisation.

Co-Ordinate an individual package of target hardening for clients using Stop Domestic Abuse services which is informed by a full risk assessment, the type and condition of the property and the needs and circumstances of the individual household.

The postholder will lead all media, messaging, and external affairs work, developing and implementing a proactive media strategy that supports our mission and key campaigns, such as Living Wage Week and the annual Rates announcement. ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE
This is a specialist youth work role with two complementary areas of practice focus: (a) gender-responsive work with girls and gender-diverse young people experiencing or at risk of violence, harmful practices, exploitation, and coercive control; and (b) inclusive practice with neurodivergent young people whose support needs are routinely missed by mainstream youth provision.
VAWG specialism is the primary area of expertise for this role; SEN-aware practice is a complementary area of focus, supported by mentorship and consultation from Angel Shed Theatre and external SEN expertise where deeper input is needed. The role is designed to ensure that the cohorts most often underserved by violence-reduction provision — particularly neurodivergent girls — are reached and supported well.
The post holder will work within MGWT's trauma-informed practice framework, in close collaboration with the Dahlia Project on harmful practices, and within Andover's operational vision.
KEY AREAS AND OUTCOMES
Specialist practice — VAWG and gender-responsive work
• Lead on the design and delivery of a weekly girls and gender-diverse group at Andover, with structured progression and trauma-informed group work practice
• Provide 1:1 keywork to young people experiencing or at risk of gender-based violence, harmful practices (FGM, forced marriage, breast ironing), online and image-based abuse, and coercive control
• Hold a clear understanding of safeguarding pathways for harmful practices and serious youth-on-youth violence, working closely with MGWT's Safeguarding Lead and the Dahlia Project
• Support the wider Andover team to develop gender-responsive practice across all sessions
• Contribute to safety planning for individual young people in collaboration with the Safeguarding Lead
Specialist practice — SEN-aware and neurodivergent-inclusive work
• Co-design and deliver a sensory-aware parallel offer for neurodivergent young people, in partnership with Angel Shed Theatre
• Provide adapted 1:1 support to neurodivergent young people, including those with and without formal diagnosis
• Build and sustain referral relationships with SEN services, schools' SENCos, and partner organisations including the LYTP SEND project
• Support the wider Andover team to develop SEN-aware and trauma-informed practice across all sessions
Outreach, engagement, and youth voice
• Build and sustain trusting relationships with young people from the cohorts the role is designed to reach
• Lead on outreach and engagement activity to reach young people not currently accessing the service, particularly girls, gender-diverse young people, and neurodivergent young people
• Support the embedding of youth voice in the design and review of the specialist offer, with paid lived experience contributors where appropriate
Safeguarding and partnerships
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding pathways relevant to VAWG, harmful practices, and SEN-related vulnerability
• Identify and escalate safeguarding concerns to the Designated Safeguarding Lead in line with policy
• Work in partnership with the Dahlia Project, Angel Shed Theatre, and external specialist organisations to maintain the quality of practice
• Participate in multi-agency meetings as needed for individual young people
Reporting and learning
• Maintain accurate records of 1:1 keywork, group sessions, and outcomes
• Contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of the VRU Stronger Futures programme and other relevant funded streams

PERSON SPECIFICATION

The British Paediatric Neurology Association (BPNA) is seeking to appoint an International Education Manager to join our team in central London, with the post requiring some international travel.
The BPNA is the professional organisation for doctors in the UK who specialise in the care of children with neurological disorders. Building on our success to date, we are working jointly with the International League Against Epilepsy to facilitate the roll-out of an educational course for healthcare workers in countries around the world. Paediatric Epilepsy Training (PET) was developed by the BPNA and has been running in the UK since 2005, and internationally since 2012, with over 22,000 attendees around the world to date. PET has been successfully launched in 14 countries including Brazil, Ghana, Kenya, India, New Zealand and South Africa. Since 2012, there have been more than 9,000 attendees at courses outside the UK.
The purpose of PET is to raise standards of care for children with epilepsy. A UK faculty team delivers a 3-day launch programme in-country to faculty teams recruited locally, who commit to delivering a minimum of one course per year for 5-years. The purpose of a launch event is to train the local team to deliver courses without reliance on UK faculty members. Roll-out is achieved through a healthcare partnership with the national paediatric or epilepsy organisation.
The purpose of the International Education Manager is to project-manage ‘launches’ and provide additional support to further develop International Education at the BPNA. You will work closely with colleagues and volunteers both in the UK and internationally to plan, problem-solve and to monitor progress against objectives. You will be expected to develop strong project plans and budgets and to ensure that all projects are delivered on time and within budget. The role will involve travel to launch sites in order to run the launches and train local administrators. You will support the ongoing development of the international PET Programme, including managing the travel of 18 international Country Leads to the UK in March 2027. You will also provide continual excellent stewardship to international faculty both established and new. We are looking for an experienced international development professional, who also has events and project-management experience. You will need to be flexible, organised, have meticulous attention to detail, be able to work to tight deadlines and be comfortable working in a global team with colleagues across different time zones.

JOB PURPOSE
The purpose of the International Education Manager is to successfully deliver international PET launches and rollouts and support the on-going delivery and development of the international PET programme. This role will:
· Project manage upcoming PET launches for the Caribbean and El Salvador/ Honduras.
· Travel to launch sites to manage launch events and to train local administrators to run PET courses.
· Manage project budgets and collate data for project reporting.
· Support the Director of Education to deliver the launch application process, monitoring incoming applications and queries.

CORE DUTIES

4. Work alongside the Director of Education, Education Content Co-Ordinator and International Programmes Assistant to support the delivery of the PET123 Update. Manage the travel of international attendees.
5. Develop relationships and Memoranda of Understanding with launch partners.
6. Carry out due diligence on new partners.
7. Working alongside colleagues across the Education department, ensure all course resources are consistent and maintain the quality standards for PET. Furthermore, support international partners to ensure easy access to the resources they need to run courses, including facilitating the translation of materials.
8. Contribute to quarterly Trustees’ reports on international short course activity and to the BPNA’s annual report.
9. Assist the Director of Education with launch information and data for fundraising proposals and reports as required.
10. Support BPNA’s annual conference as required.
11. Assist with other tasks as requested by the Director of Education, Executive Director or Trustees.
