About KLS’ Future Foundations education team
Future Foundations is an education programme of Katherine Low Settlement. Since 2004, KLS’ Future Foundations education team of 10 part-time staff and over 100 volunteers, have supported young refugees and their families in Battersea and the London Borough of Wandsworth to thrive in their education. Through mentoring, family support, casework and homework clubs, we provide the tailored support each young person and their family (if they have one) needs to overcome the barriers to education they face at home and school.
Key Objectives for this Role
Working closely with the Lead Youth Worker and Youth Worker you will help create safe, engaging and inclusive opportunities for children and young people to learn, build confidence and develop positive relationships.
Homework Clubs

Support the running and planning of two weekly homework clubs for children age 5 - 14.

Contribute to the development of engaging session plans and learning activities.

Research and source resources and materials to support activities and learning.

Support to plan and run engaging and fun activities/ongoing projects for children attending the clubs.

Use participatory approaches to ensure young people help shape activities and programme development.

Encourage children and young people to take ownership of activities and contribute to decision-making within the clubs Implement our behaviour management policy and work from a trauma informed perspective.

Support the registration and onboarding of new participants, ensuring records and consent information are accurate and up to date Liaise with families/carers when necessary.

Schools’ Project Officer

We are seeking a gifted schools’ project officer for a key role within a busy team based in Dulwich SE21, Southwark. The work is varied and fulfilling.
You should be a graduate from a good university, enthusiastic and very well-organised, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to work independently, manage priorities, work to deadlines, and take initiative. The project officer post involves presenting at school assemblies as outreach, working with students to help them prepare costed applications, handling draft applications by email, and accurate data collection and input. Job Purpose
Core Arts is an innovative Mental Health Charity and Creative Education provider delivering pioneering Arts in Health programmes across London.
This senior leadership role provides strategic and operational oversight across creative education, personalised support, wellbeing and commissioned service delivery. The postholder will lead the development and delivery of high-quality, inclusive and outcomes-focused programmes which improve mental health, wellbeing and educational participation.

This exciting role links our 350+ community organisations that receive food from us — known as our Community Food Members (CFMs) — with our thriving and fast-paced food operation. As the Food & Membership Operations Coordinator, you will work across the charity with the Food, Membership and Warehouse Teams, as well as our large and diverse volunteer community, to ensure CFM organisations receive a smooth, reliable and high-quality service each week.
The purpose of this role is to strengthen the connection between food supply, warehouse capacity and member demand. Acting as a key cross-functional coordinator, you will help ensure that surplus food flows efficiently into the organisation and out to the communities who need it. You will support both food-sourcing and membership functions, helping resolve issues quickly, improving communication, maintaining accurate data, and ensuring operational plans are aligned across teams.
Reporting to the Food Manager, with a dotted line to the Membership Manager, this role is central to improving collaboration across the organisation and ensuring FareShare South West delivers a safe, efficient and impactful service to frontline community organisations across the region.
1) Cross-Functional Coordination
- Support daily and weekly communication between Food, Membership and Operations regarding supply and membership demand
- Maintain awareness of the food pipeline, providing timely updates on incoming supply, changes, restraints, gluts or shortages.
- Assist the Food Manager and Membership Managers with aligning food allocation planning to member needs, operational realities and transport schedules.
- Help coordinate solutions to operational challenges (e.g., quality issues, storage constraints, cancellations, short-dated stock).
2) Food Sourcing Support
- Support the Food Manager with local food sourcing activity, particularly in administration, supplier updates and basic relationship maintenance.
- Be a point of contact for day-to-day supplier communication, ensuring timely responses and accurate information flow
- Help maintain accurate sourcing records and documentation, including volumes, quality notes and engagement history.
- Support awareness-raising activities about FSSW’s surplus redistribution capability (e.g., events, promotional updates).
- Assist with capturing local supply opportunities and best practice shared through the FareShare Network and escalating them to the Food Manager.
- Help coordinate truck logistics schedules in partnership with Operations ensuring incoming food is aligned with capacity.
- Assist with food safety and compliance tasks related to local sourcing (e.g., documentation updates, supplier follow-up, recall administration) under direction from the Food Manager.
3) Member Support & Service Delivery
- Support member onboarding, offboarding, account updates, queries, complaints and general membership administration.
- Lead on resolving daily member-facing issues, including food quality concerns and product recalls, escalating where appropriate.
- Support food allocation writing, ensuring allocations reflect supply, need and warehouse capacity.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date member information, including delivery instructions, profiles and seasonal variations.
- Support membership-related campaigns, events and targeted projects (e.g., HAF, bolt-on models, piloted services).
- Communicate supply changes, special offers and gluts/shortages clearly to members in coordination with relevant teams.
4) Data, CRM & Reporting
- Maintain accurate member records in Salesforce and ensure data integrity across systems.
- Support reporting for funders, SLT and internal operational updates, including supply, allocations, member engagement and service metrics.
- Track and summarise recurring issues (e.g., cancellations, quality problems, demand spikes) to support decision-making.

5) Compliance, Food Safety & Member Standards
- Operate in accordance with the FareShare Food Safety Manual and maintain required training.
- Support documentation for community food member (CFM) compliance, including kitchen checks, food safety standards and follow-up actions.
- Conduct in-person compliance visits with member organisations as required.
- Provide administrative support for product recalls, safety notices and compliance related communication.

Policy and Research Officer
This exciting role covers both legal and policy work with real scope to develop professional skills and make a tangible impact. It would suit someone who is legally and analytically minded, who is also interested in reducing destitution by influencing Home Office policy and practice.
ASAP’s policy work emerges from evidence gathered from our appeals work and our Advice Line, ASAN and training work. We focus on the quality of Home Office decisions on asylum support, including whether they are lawful, as well as access to justice through the appeals system. As such, our policy work always has a legal slant. We carry out our policy work through discussions with officials, and where necessary parliamentary work and strategic litigation.
The role includes:
- Legal Advice - The post-holder will represent destitute people seeking asylum at the AST as well as offering advice to other advisers via ASAP’s second-tier Advice Line.
- Policy and Research - Working closely with colleagues, the post-holder will:
- Look for emerging trends emanating from ASAP’s legal work to support the development of external policy positions;
- Alongside colleagues in the policy team, undertake in-depth research based on this analysis;
- Assist the Policy and Research Manager to engage with the Home Office, the AST and other stakeholders to influence improvements to policy and practice
3. Monitoring: the post-holder is responsible for collating and analysing operational data from our appeals and Advice Line work. This is used to inform policy and operational decisions. They will also assist the Policy and Research Manager with the transition to a new database which we are in the process of acquiring.
You will:
- Have strong communication skills, with the ability to explain legal concepts clearly and confidently to a range of audiences.
- Be legally minded, with a strong interest in the law and how it can be used to challenge injustice and uphold rights.
- Have an aptitude for interpreting data and presenting information in an accessible way.
- Have a good understanding of the asylum support system — ideally gained through direct advice work or closely related experience.
- Be a collaborative team player who enjoys working closely with others in a small, supportive team.
You do not need to be legally qualified, but you do need enthusiasm for legal work and a commitment to using the law as a tool for positive change.
