The Church of England Pensions Board provides retirement services to those who serve or work for the Church. Both a regulated pension fund and registered charity, more than 43,000 people rely on us for their pensions. A leader in ethical and responsible investment, we carefully steward the £3.5bn of pension savings entrusted to us to not only grow our members' pensions, but also to drive systemic and lasting change across the industries and sectors in which we invest for a just and sustainable word. The Board also supports 2,300 retired clergy with housing, including managing a national portfolio of 1,200 rented homes and Community Living options.

Supported by a multi-million pound grant from the wider Church, we are setting up a new function responsible for engaging with clergy at all stages of life and ministry on their current and future plans. This includes offering access to: grants to kick-start saving, bespoke advice at key life stages and tailored products that will give our customers more choice about their future.

We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Performance Lead to join our new team, taking responsibility for evaluating the impact and effectiveness of the Financial Wellbeing service. You will lead performance reporting, team governance, planning cycles and risk management, ensuring the service is well run, accountable and continuously improving. A critical part of this role includes business case development, for future services.

As Performance Lead, you will be the integrator and operational anchor for the Financial Wellbeing service ensuring we have the right governance, planning cycles, KPIs and performance reporting in place to run an effective, accountable and high impact service.

This includes assessing service delivery against our strategic goals, and building up a good picture of future demand for the Board's in retirement services, especially retirement housing.

This role is both analytical and operational: you will ensure the service has a clear view of its performance while also shaping the processes, rhythms and governance structures that keep the team aligned and effective. You will work closely with the Insight & Data Analyst Lead to ensure performance reporting is robust, with Finance and Strategy on investment/business case design and business planning, and with Audit & Risk to ensure compliance and assurance.

Ultimately, your work will ensure the service is well run, transparent, and able to demonstrate its impact to Trustees, senior leaders and the wider Church.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You will:

Performance, Monitoring & Evaluation

• Lead the monitoring and evaluation framework for the service, ensuring KPIs and impact measures are meaningful, accurate and aligned to strategic objectives. Developing the framework as required.
• Produce regular performance reports for the PB Executive and Trustees, ensuring clarity, insight and ownership across the financial wellbeing team. Ensure performance reporting is timely, consistent and aligned with organisational standards.
• Collaborate with Financial Wellbeing colleagues to ensure data is interpreted effectively and used to drive improvements.
• Develop and recommend new KPIs or impact assessment measures where needed to strengthen understanding of service effectiveness.
• Collaborate with the Head of Customer Service, service leads and Regional Advisers to ensure performance monitoring is embedded across the team.
• Ensure the Financial Wellbeing service has a clear, accurate and up to date view of projected clergy retirement housing needs,. Owning the collaboration between financial wellbeing and Housing colleagues to develop and maintain shared datasets and planning models.
• Ensure the customer voice is central to and ingrained in any planning, service evaluation and decision making for the financial wellbeing services.
• Liaise with wider Pension Board and NCI colleagues to ensure Financial Wellbeing service delivery is imbedded in organisation wide feedback mechanisms

Governance & Planning

• Set up, manage and refine governance structures for the team, including the rhythm of team meetings, project boards (where needed) and stakeholder forums.
• Support Director in the annual business planning and objective setting processes within the financial wellbeing team, working with Strategy and Finance colleagues to ensure alignment with the broader organisational cycle.
• Coordinate the development of investment cases for future funding, working closely with Finance, Strategy, and Housing colleagues.
• Maintain forward plans, calendars and governance documentation to support effective and proactive oversight and decision making.
• Ensure the service meets audit, risk and compliance requirements.
• Provide briefings and updates to senior leaders and for governance forums (such housing committee and project boards) including drafting papers and reports.
• Promote a culture of good governance and continuous improvement.

Risk Management & Assurance

• Lead risk identification and management for the service, working to NCI guidance.
• Maintain the service risk register and ensure risks are escalated appropriately.
• Coordinate internal audits with Audit & Risk teams and support Finance on external audits.
• Ensure audit recommendations are tracked, owned and implemented.
• Work with Head of Customer services to ensure appropriate business continuity plans in place for the service

Problem solving and continuous improvement

• Support the Director as a de facto Chief of Staff, helping troubleshoot operational issues and ensuring smooth running of the service.
• Identify opportunities to improve governance, planning and performance processes.
• Ensure lessons learned from audits, performance reviews and feedback loops are embedded.
• Promote a strong performance culture across the team.
• Stay abreast of best practice in governance, impact measurement and performance management.

About You

Essential - Knowledge & Experience

• Strong understanding and proven experience of governance in regulated and/or charity environments.
• Experience designing or managing KPIs, performance frameworks or impact assessment models.
• Experience of risk management and audit processes.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret both qualitative and quantitative data.
• Experience of business planning and objective setting cycles.
• Experience producing performance reports for senior stakeholders.
• Experience working across organisational boundaries to align planning, data and performance frameworks.

The role
As Wales Insights Officer you will support efforts to achieve collective impact between our national organisation and the local Citizens Advice network across Wales. You will strengthen engagement, collaboration and collective communication, build insight from the network and colleagues across the national organisation and assess and report on the impact of collective actions across Wales.

This is an exploratory, fixed-term role, made possible by generous funding from the Moondance Foundation, offering an exciting opportunity to deliver impact for Citizens Advice work in Wales and deepen relationships and communication between local, regional and national levels to deliver on our shared mission.

In 2024, local offices in Wales came together to apply for and win regional and national grant funding from the Welsh Government - Advicelink Cymru (the Single Advice Fund) - a programme previously administered via the national organisation. This important success created an opportunity for reshaping the way that the national and local organisations work together, including work across regions, to engage with each other, deliver impact and avoid duplication.

Based within our Wales Team, this role offers critical additional capacity and experience to deliver on our ambitions to enhance the way we work together with the local network, add value, ensure efficient and coordinated actions, and ensure we are responsive to new and emerging opportunities to grow our impact. By building relationships, gathering feedback, insights and impact, and facilitating opportunities to work together we can provide meaningful opportunities to facilitate learning and deliver collective impact. What the job involves

We’re looking for a Customer Journeys and Experience Manager to join our Customer Engagement and Experience Team on a fixed term basis for six months.

We’re about to launch our new, organisation-wide, segmentation project – Designed Around You, where you’ll play a key role in using this new insight to support teams to deliver the experience our customers have of Prostate Cancer UK. You’ll be responsible for developing and delivering multi-channel customer journeys that provide a consistent and engaging experience to all customers of Prostate Cancer UK. You’ll lead the ongoing development and optimisation of how we welcome customers to the organisation, as well as our engagement journeys, ensuring that customer needs are met, and behaviours and interests are tracked across every touchpoint.

You’ll take a lead on briefing, journey design development, analysis, and reporting, to optimise customer engagement and income. Additionally, you'll act as a liaison between data delivery, insights and product teams, sharing insights and best practice across the organisation. Coaching and collaborating with colleagues and external agencies is essential to ensure successful deployment of programmes.

What we want from you

We’re looking for someone who genuinely cares about giving our customers a great experience and always thinks about how messages will land with different audiences.

You’ll bring strong experience from a communications or direct marketing environment, with a clear track record of delivering multi-channel customer journeys for a range of audiences. You’re comfortable using data to guide your decisions, with the ability to turn analysis into clear, meaningful insights that others can easily understand and act on.

You build strong relationships at all levels and work well with both internal teams and external partners, including agencies and suppliers. Alongside this, you’re organised and proactive, with solid experience of planning projects and putting marketing activity into action from start to finish.

Supporter Acquisition & Development Manager

Role purpose

This is a critical, income-generating role responsible for growing Perennial’s Individual Giving programme and increasing unrestricted income, with a primary focus on supporter acquisition and on supporter development and retention.

This role translates strategy into delivery by converting audiences into supporters, and supporters into income, so our Services team can provide meaningful impact in people’s lives and income into meaningful impact.

You will own and deliver acquisition income targets, and working with our Marketing team lead on the development of audience-led, multi-channel campaigns that attract, convert and retain supporters.

This is an opportunity to build and scale Perennial’s Individual Giving programme from an early stage, shaping propositions, channels and supporter journeys to drive sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

1. Acquisition strategy, income ownership & growth

· Develop and deliver a data-led Individual Giving acquisition strategy, aligned to organisational income goals

The Role

The Role

We are looking for an Impact and Learning Manager.

The core purpose of the role is to manage YBI’s impact measurement, coordinate programme monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL), strengthen data quality and generate actionable insights that inform organisational decision-making.

You will also support the delivery of member engagement initiatives, learning activities, communities of practice, and member experience evaluation, helping to ensure excellent experience in the network.

Part-funded by a generous donation from Backstage Trust, this is a new and pivotal role designed to transform Theatre Centre's fundraising capacity by strengthening systems, increasing income diversity, and building long-term financial resilience. The postholder will play a key role in helping the organisation capitalise on its artistic impact and case for support, while building momentum towards its 75th anniversary in 2028.

This role will keep us focused on our development strategy and will have support from across the whole company: the Board, Executive and the core TC team. We have been steadily building our foundations and have some good funding relationships in place, committed individual givers, a strong, evidenced case for support, some incredible stats and feedback and above all an inspiring and exciting programme of work to offer for young people, artists and teachers across the country.

Our Development Manager will help us to bring in resources so that we can continue share our high-quality, specialist work as far as we can. We see development as a collaborative effort and we understand the need for the whole team to support development, that effective fundraising needs to be resourced with realistic timelines and expectations.

About the Role

Contract type: Fixed term to March 2028

Hours: 30 hours per week (0.8 FTE) - we're happy to discuss flexible working patterns that work best for you.

Salary: £24,000 per year (based on £30,000 per year pro rata)

Location: This role can be hybrid or predominantly home based, with some time spent working with colleagues in the office. Theatre Centre is based near Three Bridges station at Unit 4 Crawley Business Centre, Stevenson Way, Crawley, RH10 1TN.

Job Responsibilities

The Development Manager will lead delivery of a phased fundraising strategy:

Phase 1 - Foundation: Build on our strong systems and processes and give us consistency in fundraising delivery, including building a robust pipeline of Trusts & Foundations and developing place-based income in Crawley and the Gatwick area.

Phase 2 - Private Phase: Expand individual giving by deepening relationships, developing major donors, and securing multi-year funding partnerships.

Phase 3 - Public Bring together all strategic and fundraising priorities in our 75th year, amplifying them into a public campaign that advocates for our change-making work.

• Demonstrated experience delivering digital products using agile methodologies, with strong skills in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation across the full project lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of product management, agile and lean practices, and digital platforms including CRM, CMS, mobile, and analytics tools.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and facilitation skills, with the ability to work confidently across teams, suppliers, and user groups.
• Data-driven and highly organised, able to prioritise effectively, solve complex problems, and deliver high-quality outcomes in fast-paced environments.
• User-focused and adaptable leader, passionate about digital transformation, continuous improvement, inclusivity, and balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.

Job Description

Do you have experience in designing, reviewing or improving administrative or operational processes, with a focus on the user experience above all? Do you lead change and service improvement initiatives while working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders? If the answer is yes, then we want to hear from you.

We are looking for a Business Analyst to lead and deliver a transformation roadmap that redesigns and improves student services, using service design and business analysis approaches to create efficient, student-centred processes across the Union.

The role is full time (with part time possibility) and a fixed term contract for 12 months. This role is based at our Bloomsbury campus with flexibility to work from home on a 40/60 basis (40% working from the office).
 

Duties and Responsibilities

You will lead the delivery of a transformation roadmap to redesign and improve student services across the Union, focusing on creating efficient, user-centred processes that enhance the experience of student leaders and staff. This will involve analysing current ways of working, identifying opportunities for improvement, and balancing quick wins with longer-term change aligned to the academic cycle.

You will work closely with students, staff and stakeholders across the Union to co-design services and ensure they meet real user needs. Using data, insight and feedback, you will prioritise improvements, build engagement, and ensure that systems and tools—working in partnership with IT and Digital—support the delivery of better services.

Alongside delivery, you will help embed a consistent approach to service design and process management, producing clear documentation and building organisational capability for continuous improvement. You will also ensure that all changes align with governance, risk and compliance requirements, supporting sustainable and effective service delivery.

Our ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a good understanding of service design or business analysis approaches, and the ability to communicate complex processes clearly to diverse audiences.
