About this role
The Development Director (Philanthropy) provides strategic leadership across Impetus’ philanthropy and stewardship portfolio, with responsibility for relationship management, renewal, growth and selected new business activity. The ideal candidate will bring significant experience of securing income and building relationships with senior decision-makers, alongside a strong track record of delivering against fundraising targets. You will be confident developing strategy and turning insight into action, with the communication skills to represent the charity with donors, businesses and other external stakeholders.
You will be a collaborative and hands-on leader, comfortable working in a small, dynamic team and willing to contribute across the wider organisation when needed. With strong commercial awareness, creativity and tenacity, you will bring the energy and ambition needed to grow fundraising while staying closely connected to the charity’s purpose.
This is an opportunity to lead fundraising at an important stage in FareShare Midlands’ development, helping to generate the income and partnerships needed to maximise the social value of surplus food and create greater impact across the region.
