Role Overview
During the nine month contract, you’ll be responsible for project-managing the roll-out of our refreshed brand across all channels, event and audiences. You’ll bring your brand design and expertise to projects to ensure high quality brand implementation, acting as a brand guardian and increasing brand capability amongst our staff.
About You
We’re looking for people who can learn fast and have brand and design skill gained at a charity. You’ll need solid marketing experience and a flair for writing for different audiences. You’re a strong project manager with and leadership skills and you’ll ideally have experience of delivering complex brand projects. Prior experience of working in the health sector would be a bonus.

Our Location
Our head office is in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, so we are easily accessible by road and rail. This is a hybrid role with plenty of scope for working from home, although there will be times when you will need to be at face-to-face meetings. There is a requirement for you to attend in person days including directorate meetings and the charity’s mandatory ‘All Staff Together’ days which ordinarily take place four times a year at our offices in Hatfield or a location in London.

We are working with a wonderful charity partner who is looking for a Senior Marketing Executive to focus on Corporate and Community events. The successful candidate will support the implementation of the marketing and communications strategy, acting as the 'account manager' for a diverse portfolio of fundraising and community engagement events.
Key Responsibilities
Support the creative development and implementation of marketing and communication projects from inception through to delivery.
Act as the lead for all corporate and community events, including managing all marketing aspects of the Annual Dinner.
Coordinate all necessary project elements, including data, design, and quotes from external suppliers such as printers and creative agencies.
Collaborate with the Fundraising and Events teams to source and write high-quality content for social media, magazines, flyers, emails, and postal appeals.
Manage the development of donor magazines and newsletters.
Update core areas of the website and intranet, and work with the marketing assistant to distribute e-newsletters and staff bulletins.
Arrange non-event photography of operational services and maintain imagery resources and consent files.
Person Specifications
A graduate with substantial proven experience in a similar position, within the charity sector.
Proven experience in delivering marketing projects from inception to launch across a range of channels.
Excellent written skills with the ability to produce high-quality content for various audiences.
Strong experience in stakeholder management and coordinating elements like data and design within set deadlines.
Proficiency in using website CMS, running email campaigns, and using social media as a strategic marketing tool.
Excellent IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and a strong understanding of using data and analytics to inform practice.
A collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal, organisational, and time-management skills.

Position: Legacy Marketing Officer (Senior)

Salary: Starting from £35,109 per annum (inclusive of recruitment and retention allowance of £2,065). Total salary increasing to £37,174 after 12 months service and satisfactory performance.

About the Role
You will play a key role in delivering Norwood’s marketing and communications strategy, with a focus on events and community engagement.
Working closely with your peer Senior Marketing Executive and the wider Marketing, Fundraising and Events teams, you will lead the planning and delivery of campaigns that drive engagement, attendance and income.
You will take ownership of event marketing from concept through to delivery, ensuring activity is creative, well coordinated and delivered to a high standard.
