We are recruiting for two Information and Advice Adviser vacancies.
One post is 21 hours (3 days) per week and the other is 28 hours (4 days) per week. Applicants should indicate their preferred working pattern in their application.
Age UK Kensington and Chelsea is seeking motivated and compassionate Information and Advice Advisers to join our dedicated team. Our Information and Advice service provides high-quality, rights-based information, advice and advocacy to older people across the borough, helping them navigate issues relating to welfare benefits, social care, housing, and other areas that affect their wellbeing and independence.
As an Information and Advice Adviser, you will manage your own caseload, providing person-centred support through a variety of channels including face-to-face appointments, home visits, telephone, email and digital platforms. You will work closely with colleagues, volunteers, statutory services and community partners to ensure older people receive accurate information, practical assistance and tailored support to access their rights and entitlements. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of older people, helping them overcome challenges, achieve positive outcomes and remain connected to their communities.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, able to work independently, and committed to delivering excellent customer service. You will also play an important role in promoting the service, maintaining high-quality records, supporting volunteers, and contributing to the wider work of Age UK Kensington and Chelsea to improve the lives of older people throughout the borough.

About the role
We’re looking for a Senior Data Insight Analyst to be the lead analyst and data product owner dedicated to our Support and Influencing directorate. About you

You’ll have strong skills in SQL and Excel, alongside experience using BI and data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau or similar. You’ll be a collaborative problem-solver who can navigate ambiguity, build trusted relationships, champion data quality and help others feel confident using data and insight to improve services and outcomes.

The Counselling Outreach Worker is key to SEL Mind's exciting new counselling service for Black residents of Southwark, delivered as part of the wider Southwark Wellbeing Hub. As Outreach Worker, you will work closely in partnership with community organisations to ensure relevant, de-colonial approaches, including maintaining a delivery partnership with Black Psychotherapy. We are seeking a community-based worker who is passionate about improving Black people's access to early mental health support. Relationships and partnership working is vital, so you should be able to work independently but collaboratively, to be proactive and show initiative.
The role will involve:
- Maintaining a live engagement strategy and actively reaching out with physical presence to grassroots organisations, faith groups, community centres, cultural associations, and spaces for people experiencing difficult situations including e.g. food banks and advice/advocacy organisations
- Contributing to the development and continuous improvement of the service, bringing recommendations to support the SWH's inclusivity and best practice

We are looking for someone solutions-focussed with expertise in delivering needs-led specialist support services to be our new National LGBT+ Independent Sexual Violence Advocate.
This role builds on work that we have been doing for decades to support and empower LGBT+ people who have experienced sexual violence. Your work will enable LGBT+ people to feel supported, heard and empowered in the face of abuse and violence, and pave the way to a safer future for our community.
You will work directly with LGBT+ victims/survivors, offering them a space to talk and think through options, helping them plan what they want to do, and offering assistance in getting what they need from services. Your work will focus on needs specifically related experiences of sexual violence, including issues such as wellbeing, support with the criminal and civil justice process, safety and access to other services to enable survivors to cope and recover. You will be empathetic and thoughtful in your approach to understanding your clients’ needs, while remaining boundaried and mindful of self-care.
You will sit alongside our other advocates supporting LGBT+ people facing abuse or violence. You will work with mainstream services to ensure the voices and experiences of LGBT+ survivors are represented in order to make change for our community at a local and national level. Job Title: Duty Independent Gender Violence Advocate (Duty IGVA)
Location: The GAIA Centre in Lambeth, London
Salary: £23,761.08 per annum, inclusive of London weighting allowance
Contract type: Part Time, Permanent
Hours: 30 hours per week (Tuesday-Friday). Please note that the the operating hours of the service are 8AM- 6PM Monday- Friday with the expectation to work on some days 8- 4pm or 10- 6pm to cover.
This is an opportunity to join Refuge as a Duty Independent Domestic Violence Advocate to be the first point of contact for women who are impacted by domestic violence. You will work closely with victims of domestic abuse from the point of crisis and other gender-based abuse to provide high quality independent support to survivors all risk levels and their children..
In this role you will be part of a busy team. You will be the first point of contact for survivors who have been referred to the Gaia Centre. The duty IGVA will be responding to daily enquiries (specify from whom- public, agencies, individuals? over the phone and email as well as contacting survivors, assessing their risks and needs.
The duty IGVA will be responsible for carrying out and implementing safety plans and needs and will ensure an effective handover to the over to the relevant GAIA team for ongoing support. The post holder will also empower survivors by providing them with emotional, practical and personal welfare support. You will ensure that survivors are provided with a safe, supportive and welcoming environment, enabling them to access their rights, make decisions and increase their life options. The job involves working within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership protocols and procedures that prioritise the safety of survivors.
As part of this role, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on call rota.

About the role
We are seeking a qualified Immigration Caseworker to join our growing service. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a small and supportive organisation delivering high-quality immigration advice and casework to migrants, refugees and asylum seekers.
The role is primarily home-based, with attendance required at outreach locations, meetings and occasional events. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload, provide immigration advice within their accreditation level and contribute to the development of the charity's advice service.

Candidates holding Level 1 accreditation will be expected to work towards Level 2 accreditation within an agreed timeframe. About the role
This role is based in London with hybrid working.
As an DRIVE Independent Domestic Violence Advocate you will:
- Implement effective ways of working with victims and those supporting them to increase safety and reduce harm.
- Provide a high-quality, front-line service to victims of domestic abuse, delivering a premium service prioritised according to risk, primarily focusing on victim/survivors aged 16+
- Work within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic abuse to keep safety central to all services for victims of domestic abuse.
You will need to:
- Have a knowledge of help-seeking barriers and support needs of victims of domestic abuse (in heterosexual or same-sex relationships).
- Have a good understanding of domestic abuse including the impact of domestic abuse on victims and their children.
- Understand the principles of risk assessment, safety planning and risk management for victims of domestic abuse and their children
- Understand safeguarding issues, and the legal responsibilities surrounding these issues.
- Experience of direct service delivery to victims of domestic abuse or other vulnerable people.
- Have strong communication, negotiation and advocacy skills, both written and verbal when interacting with a range of agencies and individuals. Understand and be committed to equal opportunities and diversity issues in policy and practice.
- Have a strong crisis management skills and the ability to deal with stressful and difficult situations.
