- A deep understanding of the context for facilitating community action and community-led development projects in areas experiencing long term and intersecting inequalities.
- The ability to maintain a positive ‘can do’ attitude while negotiating complex and potentially obstructive political or relational dynamics.
- Skills & experience in the following areas: community-led action; advocacy; campaigns, fundraising, communications, leadership development, brokering partnerships, equality diversity and inclusion, conflict resolution, safeguarding.
Role summary: You will work with the Community Savers Leadership and key partners on the strategic development of community action, projects, and partnerships that reduce health inequalities and promote social justice. This will include networking and building relationships with existing and potential statutory and non-statutory partners; bringing in appropriate expertise to achieve community-led development projects; direct support for community action such as community-led research projects and partnerships; community mapping, visioning and action planning; supporting reflection and evaluation; and sharing learning widely. You will also supervise the coordination support provided to affiliated groups and leaders by our Community Action Coordinator (Manchester); ensuring a community-led process underpins leadership and associational development.

About the role
As Data Curator, you will play a key role in making sure our data can be used safely, effectively and insightfully to support research and generate impact. You will work across teams to understand how data is generated, how it is currently used, and how systems, processes and tools can be strengthened so that our data is reliable, accessible and fit for research purposes.
You will work closely with colleagues behind the NIoT’s Teacher Education Dataset (TED), helping to maintain and enhance curated datasets and explore how new sources of data can strengthen our understanding of teacher and leader development.
You will also collaborate with researchers and practitioners working through the NIoT’s Professional Development Laboratory, our test-and-learn centre focused on identifying and sharing effective approaches to professional development. This role would suit someone who enjoys working at the intersection of data, research and education, and who is motivated by the opportunity to contribute to work that has real sector-wide significance.
This role is fixed term due to funding, and it is too early to comment on the possibility of a permanent position.
This is a hybrid role, with the requirement for in person working for a minimum of once a fortnight, occasionally this will be more due to business need. The role includes participation in our annual all-staff away day (including an overnight stay) and occasional national travel.

Essential Criteria:

- Experience working with data in an education context, such as school, MAT, university, or teacher education settings.
- Experience applying data quality concepts — completeness, consistency, accuracy – in professional and/or research contexts.
- Experience of applying data governance principles in school and/or research settings.
- Experience interrogating and working with structured datasets, with or without technical coding skills.
- Familiarity with the use of qualitative and quantitative data for research purposes, as well as key issues in data interpretation such as biases and comparability.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly and take initiative in the face of new challenges.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly about data to expert and non-expert audiences, adhering to high professional standards.
- Strong ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
- Motivated to work at the interface of academic and professional priorities and working cultures, with a diverse team and multiple external stakeholders.
Desirable Criteria:
- Degree level education, or equivalent experience.
- Experience working as a teacher or in another professional role in schools, such as data manager.
- Familiarity with school data systems (MIS systems like Bromcom, SIMS, Arbor)
- Strong documentation skills such as writing data dictionaries, process documentation, and data flow mapping
- Understanding of data linking concepts and the challenges involved
- Knowledge of GDPR and data sharing in an education context
- Experience with tools like Excel, SQL, R, Python or GitHub at a basic level
- Degree in a relevant field such as data science, information management, education, social science, or a related discipline
- Evidence of continuing professional development in data management (e.g. CDMP, or relevant training)

Role Overview

For over 21 years, The Pickering Cancer Drop-In Centre has offered free, holistic support to anyone in our community affected by cancer through complementary therapies, talking therapies, art, and our supportive community.
In 2025 alone, we had 1,911 individual visits and 1,021 therapy sessions - entirely through the dedication of our volunteer team. We are currently renovating our new centre, and we want to use it to reach further into our community than ever before. This is the first paid role in our history.
About the Role
As our first Executive Director, you will be the single point of accountability between our Board of Trustees and the day-to-day operation of the Centre - working alongside our (voluntary) Centre Manager and (voluntary) Volunteer Manager to support their roles, not duplicate them. You'll lead our strategy delivery, guide the charity's move into its new home, and oversee a service redesign informed by a fresh programme of visitor, volunteer and community research.

Your Mission
CALM’s Corporate Partnerships Team is scaling up and hunting for an ambitious and experienced Corporate Partnerships Manager who is motivated by results and a natural-born relationship builder. Your profile
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent relationship management to a portfolio of corporate partners, including, but not limited to, producing account management plans, setting partnership objectives, supporting fundraising initiatives and employee engagement, thereby significantly contributing to the corporate fundraising budget and strategy.
- Ensure partnership milestones and fundraising targets are monitored, met, reported on and celebrated with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Confidently represent CALM at key meetings and events, where public speaking and delivering presentations may be required.

It is thought that there are approximately 20,000 people currently living with myasthenia in the UK.

About the Role
This role leads all aspects of Foodrise’s communications, ensuring our campaigns reach key audiences, drive systemic change in the food system and achieve our new strategic goals:
- Dismantling the animal industrial complex and supporting the transition to plant-rich food

You will develop and implement a media and communications strategy, build our media profile, oversee digital channels, and act as guardian of our brand. Essential Knowledge, Experience and Network
- Extensive experience and track record of success in using communications to achieve campaign goals and build the profile of an organisation and its goals.

We are in the private phase of a £30m campaign to acquire 100 homes, providing stable housing for people experiencing some of the most severe forms of homelessness – with philanthropy providing the seed capital to demonstrate that a different approach to housing is possible. High Value fundraising – including philanthropy - will play a central role in making our vision a reality, giving fundraisers the opportunity to build relationships with philanthropists to advance some of the most significant and ambitious areas of Crisis' work.
We've invested in the foundations that help fundraisers succeed, including strengthened prospect research, stewardship and supporter engagement functions, enabling relationship fundraisers to focus on developing and growing high-quality donor relationships. About the role
As Senior Philanthropy Manager, you will build and manage a portfolio of high-value supporters, securing five and six figure gifts that help drive lasting change for people experiencing homelessness. You will develop meaningful, personalised relationships with donors and prospects, creating bespoke opportunities for engagement and inspiring long-term support.
Working collaboratively across Crisis, you will identify new funding opportunities, build a strong prospect pipeline, and develop compelling proposals and engagement opportunities that connect donors to our ambitious vision. We are bold in seeking new opportunities, collaborative in how we work across teams, impactful in our approach to fundraising, and equitable in ensuring every supporter can play a meaningful role in helping end homelessness.
About you
- You're an experienced relationship fundraiser with a track record of securing significant gifts (at the five and six figure level) and managing high-value donor relationships.
- You enjoy building new connections and have experience of using moves management techniques to develop prospects into committed long-term supporters.
- You're strategic, organised and motivated by achieving results, with experience managing portfolios and fundraising targets.
- You're a skilled communicator who can build trust and credibility with a wide range of people.
- You are creative and able to think strategically, acting independently to develop excellent relationships with supporters and prospects.
- You enjoy working collaboratively and developing strong relationships across teams.
