About the role

This exciting opportunity will be supporting the Third Party Events Manager with the ongoing development of our third party running and challenge events. You’ll be forming strong relationships with our supporters and delivering event experiences from concept to completion.

This role has lots of potential for growth and development. You’ll work closely with the Events Management team to expand and develop our third party events programme, steward existing supporters and engage new audiences that aim to raise the charity’s profile and reach as well as significant income.

Please note, this role is being advertised as a fixed term contract, ending in December 2027.

What you'll do

• Support the Third Party Events Manager to manage and develop the 3rd party events strategy and budgets, and identifying continuous improvement opportunities

• Plan, manage, deliver and develop 3rd party events in order to achieve agreed income, expenditure and audience targets

• Create and manage event budgets ensuring that income, expenditure and KPI’s are met

• Work with the Events Managers to create and develop stewardship communications across a range of channels

• Lead the strategic plan and development of the Team Parkinson’s social media platforms to create a friendly, engaging and ‘community feel’ environment

What you'll bring

• Experience of successfully delivering a variety of fundraising events including recruitment of participants and volunteers

• Experience of drawing up budgets and managing income (min £350,000) and expenditure (min £85,000)

• Understanding of data and insight that is needed to test, optimise and evaluate the running events portfolio

• Excellent communication and written skills

• Experience of project management including liaising with and influencing senior internal and external stakeholders

Greyhound Rescue Wales (GRW) is Wales’ leading charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming greyhounds and lurchers. To help us grow sustainably and strengthen our long‑term impact, we are now seeking to develop our fundraising team with the creation of a Head of Fundraising role. You will lead and work closely with the Trusts & Foundations Officer, Sponsorship & Individual Giving Officer and Community & Events Fundraiser to deliver an annual income target of £400K+.

Role

The Head of Fundraising is a senior leadership role with overall accountability for the strategic development, operational effectiveness and performance of all fundraising activity at Greyhound Rescue Wales (GRW).

The role will drive, lead and grow our fundraising strategy and has responsibility for developing diverse, sustainable income streams and building strong relationships with supporters, partners, and funders.

The role holds end‑to‑end accountability for income delivery across trusts and foundations, community and event fundraising, and sponsorship and individual giving.

The Head of Fundraising provides clear leadership to the fundraising team and has line management responsibility for:

Salary: £26,097 p.a. for 22.5 hours per week, based on a £43,495 FTE salary.

As our Fundraising Manager you will play a key part in the future success of Woodrow, with responsibility for ensuring we are meeting a minimum fundraising target of circa £250k. Working closely with both the centralised Fundraising team and the Woodrow team, you will help to secure critical funding required to both maintain and improve the centre, making an active contribution to business development, pipeline management and supporting our strategic objectives. You will be confident in crafting cases for support for both grants and corporate audiences, as well as engaging with the local community in a fundraising capacity and organising corporate volunteering days. You will nurture and steward existing supporters, as well as seek out new opportunities to build on, including hosting cultivation events. What you will be doing

• Researching and maintaining an active pipeline of potential supporters across Trusts & Foundations, High Net Worth Individuals, Corporates, and local community groups.
• Developing and submitting tailored applications and proposals to potential funders.
• Working closely with the Director of Fundraising & Communications and Head of Centre to ensure we collaborate effectively in nurturing and stewarding existing funders and supporters.
• Managing key grant maker and corporate relationships.
• Creating and maintaining a compelling case for support for Woodrow’s needs.
• Working closely with the Director of Fundraising & Communications and the Head of Centre to ensure your funding applications align with the Centre’s plans and projects.
• Acting as an ambassador for Woodrow through off-site visits and pitches to potential funders.
• Engaging with and hosting existing and prospective partners on site at Woodrow.
• Organising local cultivation events e.g. coffee mornings, breakfast briefings, network lunches.

Active Communities Development Worker

The Grants Compliance Officer plays an important role in supporting the effective financial management and oversight of AmplifyChange's grant portfolio. Working as part of the Grants Compliance Team, you'll help ensure grant funding reaches our Grantee Partners, is used for its intended purpose and is managed in line with our compliance and donor requirements.

Reporting to the Grants Compliance Manager, you'll lead the financial management of your own portfolio of grants, supporting due diligence assessments, reviewing financial reports and budgets, monitoring compliance, and helping to strengthen the financial management capacity of Grantee Partners. You'll work closely with colleagues across the Grants Support Team, Finance, Operations and Learning, Monitoring and Evaluation, providing practical advice and support throughout the grant lifecycle.

AmplifyChange is a bilingual fund, and this role has a particular focus on supporting French-speaking Grantee Partners across Africa, South Asia and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Fluency in spoken and written French is therefore essential.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Grant Compliance and Financial Management

About Toynbee Hall

Job purpose

The Senior Advice Manager is responsible for the effective day-to-day management and coordination of Toynbee Hall’s debt advice services across multiple locations. Essential Criteria

Experience and Skills 

• Significant experience of managing frontline advice services and managing highperforming teams to achieve service, quality and performance objectives.
• Demonstrable experience of line management, including supervision, performance management, coaching, mentoring and staff development, including effectively addressing underperformance.
• Experience of delivering regulated debt advice services and having management responsibility for maintaining high standards of quality, compliance and client care. • Proven ability to provide technical guidance and appropriate support on complex debt advice cases, working within agreed technical supervision and escalation arrangements.
• Hold a recognised debt advice qualification (e.g. CertMAP or equivalent) with demonstrable experience of delivering FCA-regulated debt advice and supporting the quality and development of debt advice practice.

About the role

It is an exciting time to be working in children’s online safety. New measures restricting popular social media platforms’ access to children, alongside existing requirements under the Online Safety Act, are reshaping the role of technology companies in keeping children safe online. At the same time, curriculum reform, votes at 16 and the Government’s mission to halve violence against women and girls (VAWG) create real opportunities to shape online safety and media literacy policy, and improve outcomes for children and young people.

Yet the challenges families face online are evolving at pace, from mis- and disinformation to the rapid adoption of AI. There is cross-party consensus on the importance of tackling these issues, and now is the moment to harness this momentum to drive lasting change for children.

Against this backdrop, Internet Matters is recruiting a Policy and Public Affairs Manager to help ensure online safety policy works in practice and improves outcomes for families. This wide-ranging role will include:

• Stakeholder engagement, public affairs and influencing, including maintaining and developing a network of contacts across Government, Parliament, regulators, civil society and industry. Identifying opportunities to push forward our agenda with decision-makers, including through convening meetings and events and actively contributing to events held by others. 
• Supporting the development of Internet Matters’ policy positions, ensuring they are underpinned by the latest research and informed by the sector and political landscape. Key policy areas the role will lead on are media literacy, safeguarding girls online and supporting children with SEND online.
• Monitoring UK parliamentary business and proactively finding opportunities to influence.
• Writing policy outputs for a range of audiences including social copy, blogs, briefings, reports and responses to consultations and calls for evidence.
• Presenting and sharing policy and research in a range of settings, including at external meetings and events, tailoring messages to different audiences. 
• Acting as secretariat for Internet Matters’ Vulnerable User Working Group and Expert Advisory Panel.
• Contributing your ideas to team discussions about the overarching strategy for our policy and research work.

This role sits within the Policy and Research team and a core aspect of the role will be the ability to shape research and insights for policy and sector audiences. You will also support with the analysis of research in relation to policy related tasks.

About you

The successful candidate will have professional experience of working in policy, public affairs or a closely related field. They may have gained this experience from another charity/not-for-profit, a regulator, government, parliament or industry. Although not required, experience of one of the following sector or policy areas would be an advantage: tech, online safety, education, tech-facilitated VAWG or SEND.

We are particularly keen to hear from candidates that have experience writing outputs for a range of audiences and translating primary research into engaging policy insights. You will also have experience building and maintaining relationships with sector, policy and parliamentary stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail and take pride in producing high-quality work. As a positive subsequence, we are looking for a Head of Finance & Business Support, who will become a core member of the Senior Leadership Team, responsible for overseeing the financial stewardship of Citizens Advice Stevenage. To lead on financial governance, business support operations, and compliance, ensuring the organization operates sustainably and meets all legal and regulatory obligations. The role is pivotal in safeguarding the charity's financial integrity, supporting strategic decision-making, and enabling effective service delivery. 

Financial Leadership 

• Prepare, review, and present draft and final budgets for approval by the board, ensuring timely submission of financial information to the CEO and Trustee Board. 

• Oversee financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with regulatory standards, including variance analysis and annual balance sheets, ensuring timely submission of financial information to the CEO and Trustee Board. 

• Manage the reserves policy, ensuring regular review and alignment with operational needs and financial risks. 

• Identify and manage financial risks, ensuring integration into the organization’s risk register and adherence to appropriate mitigations.

• Ensure that the day-to-day finance and back-office function is high performing and compliant, safeguarding effective and efficient financial management processes.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory frameworks, including the Charity Commission, Companies House, FCA, ICO, and other relevant bodies. 

• Maintain and regularly review financial systems, controls, and policies, ensuring they are effectively implemented and aligned with legal requirements. 

• Conduct due diligence for pension, redundancy, and other liabilities, ensuring plans are in place for management and mitigation. 

• Support the trustee board in understanding risks related to projects and contracts, providing assurance of compliance with funders’ requirements. 

• To lead on the Risk Management process, advising the CEO and managers on risk matters, and reviewing the risk register on a regular basis, reporting to the Board of Trustees.

• To check, amend and monitor the Financial Procedures Manual; reporting material breaches to the CEO and Board of Trustees, as required/in-line with governance.
